Was in Wichita visiting family. Just left Target and i was shocked when i saw Smalls. One of my favorite slider spots from New Orleans. I had to stop in and grab some. I love the size of the sliders and man the sauce is the best. Kind of reminds you of a more refined big mac sauce. The fries are waffle fries, not amazing but goes great with the slider. The burgers were juicy and seasoned perfect. Didn't get a milk shake this time but if you love milk shakes definitely get one from them. It is a great spin on an American staple where the slider is the main focus of the establishment and not just an extra or afterthought at the bar/restaurant. Even though this is just the beginning for Wichita, you can tell the ownership and staff take great pride in their overall product. The staff is friendly, courteous and very engaging from the minute you arrive. The food was very good and there are great options for everyone of all ages. The sliders were juicy and flavorful, the waffle fries were well seasoned without adding anything, and I would recommend the queso for dipping, as it has just the right amount of spice. Some of the positives, they sell Coke products, the bun was tasty. The waffle fries was OK. The negative is the sliders is just toasted little tiny rolls with 1.8 ounce beef patty with cheese and a small pickle. No tomato or onion or anything else. The waffle fries has some kind of seasoning that I'm not a huge fan of. And the price is ridiculous. I also tried to download the app and it did not list Wichita's location nor did it allow me to sign up to get rewards. Now it's been open for a little over a month And it took two months through Construction. So if they can't figure out how to add a restaurant in three months it shows that there's some problems with headquarters. My total meal came up to $15 and change. To go from 2 sliders to 3 it's an additional $2, and to go to 3 sliders to 4 it's an additional $2.70. Ate lunch there today, the staff was rude. The tables were dirty as well had bird poo all over them. We asked for them to please clean a table off and she was rude and mad we asked her to clean it. They never responded so I asked if I could please have the washcloth to do it and we did it ourselves. Then after eating we asked for drink refills and they were rude again to us for asking for refills; then they filled them with the wrong drinks twice; I think it was on purpose. Good simple burgers but I ordered one bag regular and one bag with only meat and cheese for a picky autistic eater. I asked when at the window to double check about meat cheese only bag and they said they didn't do it and would remake them it would be an extra 15 minutes or so I was happy to wait so that it was done correctly for our guest. After waiting the 20 minutes for the fresh batch, I got home which is a four minute drive, and our burgers were very cold, and the fresh batch was regular with sauce and pickles. Our guest didn't eat and we had a mix of hot and cold burgers with too many to spare. It felt like a big waste. However when they get it together it is a decent affordable option. I went during lunchtime and was a little disappointed that the food was not as fresh as it should be when orders are being put out quickly. The burgers were extremely greasy as were the buns. Too much oil or butter on the inside and outside of the bun- wish they would at least offer some grilled onions to add on the sliders. The fries were lukewarm, but the cookies and cream milkshake was absolutely delicious cold creamy and very thick. Also service in the drive-through was quick and friendly. Sliders and fries had a good flavor, but the price for what you get is too high. I asked for the sauce on the side instead of on the sliders and was charged $1. The staff did not tell me about the up charge and when I complained about it he shrugged his shoulders. Ordered the four slider combo, asked for bacon on two and she says, it's all or none. It's a freaking dollar up charge per slider... so they basically lost out on $2.
