They ended up having to completely tear down and rebuild our chimney from the ground up. And it looks amazing. The gentleman gave her 2 options/prices and she told him we'd discuss it and call them back the next day. The gentleman then left in his truck and my wife had to join a conference call for work. While she was on the conference call, the Owens Chimney employee returned, went directly back into our roof without speaking a single word, and installed the more expensive of the two chimney caps WITHOUT ANY SIGNED PAPERWORK OR CONSENT, and then left the house without speaking a word to my wife. Owens had the gall to send us an invoice for this unauthorized repair and is harassing us for payment for a service we never agreed to -- COMPLETELY UNETHICAL!!!! I have no reason to make up a single word of this review....stay far away from this company.
