Two full weeks later, I haven't even received a phone call saying that my issue is being looked in to. I don't like to give negative reviews, especially to small, family- owned businesses, but since they have not even acknowledged my complaint, I have no other recourse but to give this review and forward my issue to Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. It took me a couple of months to absorb what happened and address the issue as friends of mine use this business, and of course I told my friends too. I made the appointment and drove 27 miles out of my way to give them my business as I want to support family business. I called and made an appointment to have my tires rotated and balanced to keep up with my recommended maintenance from the dealership and CARFAX. I showed up on time for my 1pm appointment on February 22nd, 2024. They initially had no idea I had an appointment and called the Newton NJ too check and see if I was scheduled there. Then the lady present remembered I had made the appointment. Roughly fifteen minutes later, I was told my car was ready. I handed him sixty dollars cash and five dollars for the tip. Since he did not hand me a receipt, I figured it was on the seat of dashboard of my car, but there was no receipt. I went back in for a receipt and they really did not want to give me one. I said I needed a computerized receipt that was reported to CARFAX to show I was keeping up with my maintenance. The lady went out to my car for my mileage and gave me a handwritten receipt. She said they do not give computer receipts, nor do they report to CARFAX. Had she told me that in the first place, I would have taken my business somewhere else. Also, confusing is the fact that they never gave me a report on the condition of my five-year-old tires, which the other businesses I have gone to have. Other businesses have informed me of how the tires are wearing, are they safe, how many more miles do I have before replacement, etc. I don't believe they checked or adjusted tire pressure, as other places do and notate on their COMPUTERIZED RECEIPTS that are automatically reported to CARFAX. Finally, even small businesses take your name and address to put in a computer data base so they can track your service needs. They did not. And after mulling this over in my mind for the past few months I think they did not want me to come back for reasons I will not mention here except to say that there were things I noticed after returning directly home and parking the car in my driveway. I, incidentally, have not driven my car since then. It is my second car and has stayed parked in my driveway since February 22nd. In my letter to them 2 weeks ago, I requested that the owner review his security cameras both inside and outside of the store on that date as I know most modern cameras record both visual and audio. I also requested to view these tapes myself. I E-mailed copies of receipts from my dealership, and CARFAX showing that I needed my record for tire rotation and balancing updated. I also e-mailed copies of receipts from another company that document on computerized receipts and forward the info to CARFAX. Finally, I e-mailed them pictures of the area on my car I had concerns about. As I stated, I don't like to give a negative review, but as I took the time to write my concerns out in detail along with photocopies and pertinent pictures, and they did not even take the time to contact me by e-mail or phone to say my issues were being looked in to, I have no other choice.

    Found out I had to take a last minute unplanned trip to Buffalo NY right before Christmas to say…read moregoodbye to a family member in hospice. I found these guys through google and a online site(Mytireshop). While I grew up in Western NY and am used to the harsh winter weather, my girlfriend is not and I wanted the car to be as safe as possible for her while we are there as we will probably be there a couple weeks. They were able to locate some top of the line winter tires for me the day before and get me in immediately the next day as i was planning to leave around 3pm. Also the price was extremely reasonable, on par even Sams Club and BJs . Unfortunately the delivery didn't make it to their shop on time but they did a bit of moving stuff around and were able to get me my tires at another location of theirs about 8 miles away. When i arrived at the shop they took me right in and had me out of there in probably less than 30 minutes!!! Can't thank you guys enough! Have plenty of time to roll into there and miss the big storm coming in...... Going to need some high performance tires for my Challenger in the spring and potentially even some new rims as I have a bent one from a NJ pothole...Ill be reaching out Thanks again and Happy Holidays
