I called the office number and was told they would mail me a check for the full amount. The next day the shop manager called me and told me instead of them sending me a check he would refund the amount back to my card. Now a month later nothing has been refunded and no check was mailed! They also noticed the Missouri plates on my daughter's car so I wasn't a candidate for their unlimited wash today. Basic car was was decent enough, cleaning all the important places and leaving a clean car. They have free unlimited vacuums that had a strong suction so I was able to get all the dirt and crumbs off the floors and out of the seats. And they have free clean towels, which was nice to get the edges, inside the doors and lastly, a bit more attention to the wheels. Overall, I'm pleased with how this wash turned out. My whole way there my truck was still pulling to the right. I kept calm and thought it could be due to my 13ft kayak strapped on the right side of my truck. However, after removing kayak it was still doing the same. I was infuriated with that idea that my alignment wasn't properly done. Once coming to the shop I asked Gary if he could check the alignment for me and he did promptly. Showed me the chart that machine gave him and to my surprise it wasn't the alignment. I explained the situation to him and he gave me lots of good information on what might be causing my problem. I really appreciated his willingness to go into detail of potential issues and didn't push me to buy anything rather than just learn.

My 2011 Mazda 3 is having intermittent start issues when it gets hot outside so I took it in to get a free diagnosis. They tell me it's an issue with my clutch safety switch and that it would cost a couple hundred dollars to fix. I say okay naively thinking they are honorable or And of course they wouldn't charge me and not fix the issue, right? Wrong. I pick up my car, pay the bill, it starts up fine (it does sometime, it's intermittent). I drive it home. The next day I go to start my car and it doesn't turn right away. I call them to let them know. He says we did fix the issue we replaced your clutch safety switch. I tell him it's still doing the same thing, I would not have paid them anything if the problem would still persist. Mind you this is not even 3 days later. They say well maybe it's the battery. I said if it's the battery why did I just pay $200 for a clutch safety switch. He said because it was bad that I saw them test it. This is horrifically horrible service. To charge a customer $200 for a repair that does zero to fix the issue and instead of making it right they just push me off so they can keep my money. Businesses and mechanics that do this have the morals of a fruit fly. This should never happen but unfortunately it's par for the course for Plaza Tires. I'm pretty disgusted with this service. I deserve my money back. I'm also prepared to show them it's still not fixed for verification. Do not get work done on your car here. Obviously their word means nothing. I couldn't steal a $5 candy bar from Walmart without getting arrested but these people are allowed to take $200 from a family struggling to get by with impunity. Lovely.
