Beware! I spent over $2,500 on a new radiator, hoses, and water pump at Big O's. One year and TWO months later....the water pump failed. When I called to find out if it was covered under warranty, I was left on hold for 25 minutes, only to have to call back later in the day. When I finally got in touch with someone, I was told that the warranty expired after one year...no exceptions. Save yourself time, money, and the hassle...avoid Big O's. I noticed the rental I was driving had a tire that was low. I made it here shortly after they opened. Will greeted me at the door and was able to take care of my issue, which turned out to be a nail in my tire, quickly and expertly. This was important as I still had a 6 hour drive home ahead of me. Will also billed the rental company on my behalf, getting me out the door and back on the road at no cost to me. If I ever need anything next time I'm in the area, I will definitely return here. Absolutely terrible experience with this shop and wouldn't recommend anyone to waste there time and money here. I have a 19 Silverado on almost 5k worth of wheels and tires,so I brought my truck in for a balance/rotation/alignment and made it crystal clear to the service manager that my truck rubs due to the tires and tell the tech to be careful pulling in and out,low and behold I come pickup my truck after everything is done and the side wall to my tires are completely ate up,(and bumper saging)from someone turning way to sharp and continuing to turn in disregard for the truck making terrible noises bc the trucks bumper is about to be ripped off.but long story short they said "we looked at Cameras and we're not liable" and that was that so I'm going to get a lawyer so these sneaky people up there pay for the damages they've done! I have a new Bronco and my husband is very particular about where we take it, and Big O in Bentonville is our #1 choice! I have large tires and had a large nail straight in between the tread. Checking in took only a few minutes, they pulled my car right in, and it was ready to go in less than 30 minutes! They were able to patch it, THANKFULLY!! I anticipated a much longer wait, so I had a friend pick me up, and I made it back a few minutes after 6pm when they closed. I bought three new tires from Big O. Immediately I was having problems with extreme tire shake on the highway. I called Big O, letting them know the issue and scheduled to come in a few weeks later due to me going out of town. When I brought the truck back in, they said there was no issue with the tires, but the issue persisted still having extreme shake. I just brought the truck in again to have them say all three tires were defective from factory and I need to pay a little over 500 to get all the tires replaced. Ridiculous customer service. I honestly should've walked out as soon as I arrived. There were two employees behind the counter, one on the phone and the other finishing up with a customer. There were also 3 mechanics talking near the door. No big deal. But I walk in and everyone looks at me and no one acknowledges me in any way. I wait a few minutes. Maybe they will say "be right with you." The employee with the customer then as how he could help me. I explained I have the new tire in the back of the truck and just need it mounted and balanced. Just one tire. He told me they were busy and it could be an hour. Fine. I called someone to come get me. No one ever called me that it was done etc. 4 hrs later I had to run another errand and stopped by figuring it's done. Nope. The employee that rang me up realizes goes out sees my truck still sitting where I left it, untouched. He says they have been busy and I'll be next. "No way man. This is ridiculous. I left it here over 3hrs ago." I walked out and called Discount Tire , 3 minutes away. I was out in 10 minutes. read more

Went with a coupon for an oil change. Coupon said $19.99 for an oil change but apparently that does not include the oil filter and labor for that oil change. Ended up costing $40. Coupon never mentioned additional charge and in all my 50 years of life I have never seen labor and the oil filter as being a separate charge from the oil change service. read more

The good: Great tire selection and even a better "same-day from warehouse" options. Fast service. The bad: They butchered the TPMS valves on my wheels because they couldn't get the valve stems out. Was offered free regular valve stems or $75 TPMS valves per wheel. I also inquired about the 90-day same as cash "leasing" through Acima that they had advertised and was told by the sale associate it was a $25 up-charge to set up. After all the paperwork was given to me, the "leasing" program amount was $50 higher than $25 that was explained to me for a total of $75. I called the 3rd party Acima and wanted to cancel/reject the lease but they stated this can only completed by mail. Spoke to a manager about the misrepresentation and was not even offered an apology let alone a way to undo this misrepresentation. TLDR: Tires, lots of them. Don't get ripped off by their untrained and unprofessional staff. read more

You think I would learn after being disappointed every time. I took a picture of my tire Thursday and called and asked for a 245/40r18..they said, man it's great we have two in stock. My question was why would you put synthetic in without my permission or even letting me know? What if I only have 30 or 40 bucks and the coupon that I gave? Took my truck in for new tires and an alignment, they called me and said they couldn't do an alignment without replacing the driver side upper and lower ball joints. I just had my personal mechanic check my ball joints and he didn't find an issue. I took it to another tire shop this morning, they checked the ball joints, and are doing an alignment. I wouldn't recommend Big O. They will try to screw you and the markup on their parts is astronomical. read more

I bought a new to me car and knew in advance that both rear tires did not hold air. I had it dropped off by the seller and they did their free 22pt inspection. I made sure they were aware the rear two tires did not hold air. I was informed that it needed $6500 worth of work including needing a new radiator, but the tires were in great condition. Also, all lights worked well according to the inspection. I live in a state that requires a state inspection in order to license, and all lights must be functional. Upon bringing the car home and doing a once over, the radiator in fact, does not need replaced, it was just low on fluid. There was an actual screw in the sidewall of one rear tire and the other rear tire has an actual cracked rim. By the time I got home I was running on the 'run flat' PSI of both rear tires. Also.... no rear brake lights on either side. Only the hatchback brake bar lights up. I appreciate the fact that this inspection was free as I would be wanting my money back had they charged me for it. Being a "Tire Specialty Store" I could let the radiator and brake lights slide.. as well as the other $4000 worth of work they were willing to fix for me that was NOT tire related... but when I tell a tire specialty store that two tires do not hold air, I fully expect them to find out why when it is a simple observation especially. The only ... ONLY... thing they have going for them is the fact that they were polite and timely. Personally though, I can tolerate some unmannerly professionalism if they know what they are doing. read more

I had an non repairable flat but the replacement tires in stock were way too expensive. They looked at less expensive ones that could be ordered and said they could air up my slow leaking tire. I told them let's do that and I'll let them know after talking to hubby if they should order them. While waiting for them to pull the car out, I got a call that I was laid off from work. A few minutes later the manager came out and said to hang on and a few minutes after that they had me come back to the office and asked if I could afford about 1/4th of the estimate. They replaced all 4 of my tires for a fraction of the cost! He said they can't always do this but they were wanting to help out. DON'T GO!! BAD Service!! I went in with a low tire due to nail. A guy Anthony ( per his name on the quote form) greets me VERY rude and goes outside to see my car; he immediately says he can't fix ONE tire that he MUST replace all 4 tires for some BS reason. I told him it's one low tire and it was evident that I only needed one. We go back inside and he gives me a quote for $2,300 plus. He the says that in order for him to order the tires I must leave 50% of the total cost as a deposit. He probably thought b/c I was a women that he can take advantage. My husband took my car to A dif place &he got it fix and a way lower cost. He should feel ashamed of himself for being dishonest, rude and careless. Where to start? Brought my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited in to have a slow leak repaired in October. The technician got to it quickly. It cost about $30. Went home, and over the course of the week, the tire continued to leak. I returned to Big O Tires the following Saturday. I explained the tire was still leaking. They took the Jeep in, pulled the tire while I waited in the customer waiting area. The tech tells me my tire pressure sensor was bad. He tried to say it was broken when I arrived. It wasn't. He agreed to replace the sensor. After about an hour I left the shop in pouring rain. I was told the new sponsor would sync with the computer within 9 miles. As I drove, the sensor synced. It showed the tire was 5 pounds low. I stopped at Casey's and properly inflated the repaired tire. It was pouring rain, but hey, it was fixed. A few days later, I was washing the Jeep. That's when I discovered the scratches on the alloy rim. Along with that, red paint from the tire removal equipment. I drove into Bentonville and spoke with Darryl Barker, manager. I showed photos of the scratches. He said he'd set up an appointment to have the rim polished to remove the scratches. I left him my contact information. He said he'd call me with a time to come in to have the rim polished the following Friday. I never received a call from Darryl Barker. I called him on the following Friday. He said he'd call me right back. Darryl called back. He instructed me to take my wife's Jeep to superior Mazda on Moberly Lane. He said the wheel poliishing service was there for the day and would work me into the schedule. I drove over and met with tHe technician. He took one look at the rim and said the scratches were too deep. He told me the wheel needed to be sent to be machined in Kansas City. While I was onsite, he called Daryl Barker and told him the wheel needed to be machined. I returned to Big O Tires. I talked to Darryl Barker. He told me he would contact the company in Kansas City, get a shipping label, then have me bring in the vehicle to get the rim off and ship. I gave my phone number to Darryl, thanked him and left the store. He told me he would call me that evening. Darryl did not call. When I called him, he told me he'd call me on Monday. He said the company in K.C. Was hard to deal with. After waiting until Tuesday, and receiving no phone call, I left my experience on the Big O Tires website comment section. Darryl Barker called me. He seemed irritated. He said he was working on getting a shipping label. 11/22/19 received a voicemail from "Anthony" saying he was taking over and would be ordering the wheel. I called him back and left a voicemail thanking him. Thanksgiving came and went. No call. December 9 I get a voicemail saying the wheel was ordered. So far, as of 12/31/19, still no wheel, still no call. I left my information on the Big O Tires customer service website a few days ago. I have heard nothing. I called and spoke with a tech this morning at the Big O Tires in Bentonville. He tells me he will talk to Darryl because he has no Jeep rim and there is nobody in the office who knows anything. I left my contact information.......... Update: I called and spoke with Dakota. My wife''s wheel came in. I asked when it arrived, he did not know. He said I would need to leave my wife's wheel as a core. My wife checked and Jeep does not require a core charge for the wheel. Due to weather, we were unable to get to the shop on 1/11/2020. I called and spoke with Darryl Barker, Assistant Manager. He said that was okay. We returned to Big O Tires on 11/18/20220. We were told Darryl left the company. We were helped by Brandon, the new Assistant Manager. He located our replacement wheel and verified it was the correct wheel. We were not offered installation, but we were happy our damaged wheel was replaced. Brandon was helpful and professional. Hopefully, our experience was not the norm. read more

I went in to get a leak fix and they talked me into replacing my tires. Said it would only take an hour, 1.5 hours go by and they can't get the tires on. They said it's going to take another hour and offered to take me home and pick me up when it's done. 2.5 hours later they called and said they still can't get it done. I talked to Cole the manager and he said they are going to put ether in it and lite up to expand and fit the tires. At this point we decided they would keep the vehicle there over night and pick me up the next day to get my truck. Next morning I talk to Cole and he said he didn't have a clue when he could pick me up so I can get my vehicle. Proceeded to tell me to get a taxi or Uber..unbelievable management, went back on his word and now I'm stuck trying find a way to get my truck back. I ask Cole for his bosses name and number, I called and it said "the you have dialed has been disconnected". I run a business and have 4 trucks 6 trailer, thought I found a new tire place as nice as they were in the beginning. But after Cole went back on his word and gave me wrong information, I will take my business elsewhere. I read some recent reviews and see that I'm not alone...I have bought tires for two vehicles here and was very pleased with the service provided. Anthony and others at Big O can seem gruff and abrupt at first but I've generally received good service...until I didn't. I've since come by for the complementary tire rotations and been told to get there earlier in the day/come back/they're too busy (and without apology or kindness - very rude). This is ridiculous when Big O makes a big deal out of this being one of the perks associated with buying their tires. They should not make it incumbent upon the customer to go through machinations to fulfill this promise. Guys, I'm sorry if you don't LIKE doing these free tire rotations but corporately, you PROMISE THEM. I won't be buying tires here again. read more

So I have purchased several sets of tires at this location. The service writers run hot and cold, mostly cold! I have stopped in twice now to have my tires rotated (purchased this location) and have been told their too busy to come back another day? This week I was given a set of tires for my wife's car, I needed these tires dismounted, the tires on the vehicle dismounted and the new tires remounted, balanced etc. I called to this Big O location told them who I was, repeat customer. They quoted $200 for the above Job? I thought this was a little high so I called Nunally Chevrolet right down the street and got a quote on the above labor. $80 plus Tax $87 total! Big O was $120 more for the same job. Brought in car for 10:00 app for oil change, rotate & balance, alignment. Called store 3 hrs later, told car was ready. Was informed front toe was out and could not be adjusted. Told adviser never heard of toe not being able to be adjusted, especially on fairly new vehicle with low miles (2016, 33700). Went out to vehicle and discovered rotation HAD NOT BEEN DONE! Went back in, complained to "manager". He confronted mech who did work, says he did rotate. Explained to mgr. he didn't' as the markings I put on tires were in same spot as they were when dropped off. Told him to come out and look, he declined, wanted to fix but I was now out of time. This made me wonder if oil change was accomplished, checked at home, oil looked clean, but is clearly OVERFILLED! I have been a Big O customer for 20 plus years, buying tires and extra warranties offered. I now have two useless 3-year tire/alignment warranties and would like a refund on those, as we will not be returning to Big O. Stunned by the exceptional customer service here!! Jessie was so kind and compassionate when I was in a real bind. I was having to rush from my day job in Rogers to my evening shift all the way in Fayetteville. The tread on my tire had come completely off, down to its core on the way-causing some major damage. I was really working on borrowed time. I let them know my situation and they got me in and out of there in less than twenty minutes. There were a few other personal kinks that they more than worked with me on and gave me the best deal possible!! Coming from a single mom with two daughters (that has been working tirelessly to try and give them a good Christmas) this really took the wind out of my sails and disheartened me today. Their willingness to work with me on the price and stellar ethics here really blew me away. I did not even want to give them one star. They were kinda friendly. The reason I went to them is because I had a nail in my tire. I did not realize they needed to take the entire tire off to check for a leak. But without asking, they started digging through my car looking for the tool. At this point, I felt they had went to far rummaging through my belongings without asking. The simplest thing would have been to ask me where it was. Unfortunately, the tool was not in the car, so I had to leave anyway. I drove to another place, and they had a tool to get my tire off. Much friendlier and more accommodative. It's difficult to find an automotive business you can trust. I have a list of trustworthy ones. This one didn't make the cut. read more

Had an issue with having the Raised White letters mounted on the inside instead of the outside but Anthony took care of it. I should have been better at communicating what I wanted. Went to big O tire to get tire fixed was told needed passenger side outer tie rod replaced, replaced it with lifetime warranty part, went back today set appointment for power steering flush & alignment, wanted them to check & make sure everything was good for the alignment, was told both outer tie rod's needed replaced. After going back & fourth with him telling him I replaced it I was told I got a bad part. So I decided to take my family's Business somewhere else. Not impressed. This place messed my truck and continued to charge me to fix it. All they do is feed you a line of bs and deny ever doing wrong. After spend over 500 for a front end alignment and tire balance, I still had to go to a different place to get it fix correctly. Went for an oil change for 2 vehicles during the grand opening in November. My 04 Hyundai Tiburon has had no problems, but my wife's 09 VW Tiguan has become a whole different issue. Last week my wife brought to my attention that her truck was running rough and not switching gears properly. Upon lifting the hood, oil is everywhere on the left side of her engine, right where the oil filter is placed. I wipe down the oil a little and check the dipstick to see there is no oil in the engine. Upon further inspection, I notice the oil filter is lose and not screwed in all the way. I preceded to unscrew it with my bare hands. Thinking I could fix the problem, I bought a new filter and oil and replaced them both in the engine. The vehicle runs fine for 2 days until I get a call from my wife that he engine is making angry sounds and will not start. I called Big O Tires and spoke with Anthony about the problem who had us tow the vehicle for them to inspect. After a day at their store, I am informed it is the timing chain jumping and caused the engine to stop. This in turn caused pressure to build up and cause a seal to break in the back of the engine and leak oil. I insist to them that their faulty oil change caused the leak and they should be responsible. After no resolution the call ended. I discuss the problem with a trusted mechanic to be told Anthony is full of it. I call back to get another fellow on the phone who says Anthony is busy, so I tell him I need an estimate of the work needing to be done. He assures me they can do that. Next day I call back to be told by Anthony that they do not work on VW, therefore no estimate will be given. I get my car towed to the VW dealership to have them look at it. After 4 hours of tearing down the engine (@$110/hour), I am told I need a whole new engine due to low oil level damage. $9000 worth of damage due to a faulty $40 oil change. I have spoken with the district manager Korey Lee on this already, and his reply is that we drove 2000 miles since the oil change. We put complete faith in them to change our oil correctly, and now I need a new engine. I am positive this is their fault, since on the estimate, VW stated "There are signs that oil had been leaking found front of engine / oil filter housing area at sometime." I have forwarded the estimate to them and fully expect they will take care of this problem. *UPDATE* 1 month later, their insurer is denying liability on the claim. So now I have to go pay a lawyer and take this to court. Hard to believe a $40 oil change could cause this much trouble. read more
