They tried to charge me $200 for it even though I had previously purchased the lifetime alignment. I then was told that one of my tires was bad and needed to be replaced. I asked if it was covered under warranty and was told yes, but that the tire wasn't made anymore and I had to cover the difference which was $138. I told them no thanks, and they tried to charge me for a check up fee of $10. I demanded to see the Check up and was shown the receipt. After years of doing business with this company, my grandson had a unrepairable flat. Bought a tire and left the rim because they were busy and scheduled the install for the next morning. My grandson went to have it installed and they said they didn't have time until the next day so he took and changed it on his lunch break. They also told him that because the tire was so cheap ($120) that that their road hazard plan wasn't feasible so he didn't get it. I contacted the corporate email to complain . They said a manager would contact us within a couple days. No call ever came. 2 weeks after the purchase his tire blew which made him lose control and run over a median which broke his tie rod and blew a motor mount. Bad service, bad advice and now a bad product. I nor my family will use Firestone again. read more

Had A Tune up done with cheap quality products and had misfires not even a year later. The spark plug boots were stuck inside the and wouldn't come out. Dielectric grease was not used and it was a pain to fix the issue. And they charged me for a three part induction service but the throttle body was never cleaned. Poor Quality service. read more

Firestone is a scam. Went in thinking I would need a simple patch on my tire due to a razor blade stuck in there. They told me that the tire was too damaged to fix and that I would need to buy a new $200 tire. I declined and drove to Discount tire where they found that the razor blade was not deep at all and did not damage the tire one bit. BTW they didn't even charge me to fix it. There is something terrifying about watching the Psi level drop on the dashboard display. The culprit? A nasty screw. I had an issue after I had my alternator replaced, and even though I mentioned what the exact problems were, they just proceeded to do other tests and I kinda got the "idk how to use my Car" speech from the GM but the whole situation could've been handled more in a professional way. Story time, stay away from firestone. Idd say all of them but the one at cagans especially. I had a slow leak that showed up on Saturday after hitting a pot hole. At first I thought it was just a hard hit that knocked some air out of my tire because I had no real issues for about 4 days. Until my tire went flat, swapped out to the donut, and filled the tire back up to check where the leak was. It was a small piece of copper wire stuck in the center of the tire. Thank goodness it wasn't the sidewall. I took it to firestone this morning bright and early, and before the guy even looked at it he said "you need a new tire". I hadn't even said what was wrong yet, because it was still mostly filled. I laughed told him it was a brand new tire and only had a tiny hole in the center and I needed a patch. Left it with him for 30 minutes and he calls back saying there was a nail in the sidewall. There was no nail, so I zipped back over there. And low and behold there is a new hole in my tire letting air escape within a minute. He starts pushing me toward buy a tire from them, and I immediately grabbed the tire and left. I inspected the site again and where the paint was that they put on the tire to mark the hole there was a noticeable indent where you could see someone hammered a nail into it after they sprayed it with paint/Traced it with chalk. They ruined my tire just to try to sell me a new tire at 3 times the price of fixing a flat. Thanks but no thanks. It was not in stock initially which was never communicated. And then when paying we were told that a different battery was put in the car. However, upon inspecting the receipt and the battery, the battery initially requested was the one that was actually put in. Fantastic service and very friendly staff. My tire was almost flat and I was unable to fill it. I was on my way to a wedding with no time to waste. I went to Walmart first, which was awful. Walmart told me it would at least 2 hours before they could even look at it. I went less than a mile down the road and found Firestone, who had someone fill all of my tires FOR FREE. I was in and out in under five minutes, even with a ton of other customers in there. If you need auto service and you are in this area, avoid Walmart and just come here. I had a lifetime alignment and rotation. Last year they didn't give me the alignment report so I wondered if they actually performed the job. This week I put a mark on tires and when I picked up the car at the end of day, I noticed the tires didn't get rotated. My car probably sitting there all day without receiving any work done on it. This location has fallen far and fast. I want to give credit where credit is due - when it first opened, it was outstanding. Great work done, would remain open as late as needed to conduct repairs at the last minute, etc. This needs to come back. Yesterday was the fourth time that this location has failed to rotate tires when requested, and I cannot recommend enough that if you go to this location, take pictures of your tires if you are going for a rotation and check the work done after it's done. If you deal with Jason, ensure he fully understands that you want a rotation. Yesterday our vehicle was taken there, and the battery was replaced. During this repair, done by Leo, he broke the coolant line. After driving off, the vehicle rapidly began to overheat, and it was taken to a different Firestone (which I will be writing a great review on), and they confirmed that the coolant line was broken during battery replacement and coolant was all over the engine. We were also advised that there was no way whatsoever that this would have not been noticed at the time. The repairs were obviously free, but this wasted hours of the day. In one day the battery was replaced that resulted in a broken coolant line and the tires were (again) not rotated. Corporate is being contacted via e-mail and on the phone, and if this is taken care of (the only acceptable outcome is a refund on the battery due to the damage and massive waste of time), and if it is appropriately dealt with, I will absolutely update this review and raise the rating and post an update to this review. Again, this location was outstanding, but other locations have told us point blank that most of the people working here do not have the most experience, so that may explain some of it. I would love to continue to go to this location, but as of now, that is done. What started as great has ended on a sour note. read more

The absolute worst experience. I am extremely angry at the lack of responsibility and professionalism you people have provided my husband with. Take my car in for an oil change for them to give me my car back in a non functioning state. They broke a piece in my car that according to them was broken already. If that's the case how on earth have I been getting around town with zero issues and zero leaks? We have gone on long distance trips and have not had any issues. They did not want to take responsibility for breaking that piece and asked my husband if he was going to purchase the piece with them and have them fix it. They wanted to charge him to fix what they broke in the first place. Not right at all. The price they were charging was like 3x over the price all over the internet. When my husband asked why they were charging so much the guy's response was "you got me there, do you want it or not?" What kind of shady answer is there?! We ended up having to tow my car out of there so that my husband can now go and fix what they have broken. I will make sure NONE of my friends or family or there friends and family do business here. First time going to a Firestone Mechanic and I was very impressed with the service. I made appointment to have my breaks checked and that's all they did. I wasn't pushed into making any other repairs that may have needed. I was in at 8:00am for the free break check and they told me what needed to be done, provided me an accurate quote, and I was out around 12:30pm. There were some complications that came up but they told me what was delaying my repair. The only complaint with the location is that they didn't have enough seating nor did they have complimentary water and coffee like other repair shops have. But that doesn't impact my review since this location is within walking distance to shops including Walmart and restaurants included ChicFila, McDonalds, and Starbucks to name a few. read more

When I arrive to Pep Boys they let me know that my appointment could not happen on time because the tire that should've been there by 12 noon, my appointment was at 2 PM, had not arrived. I was informed that it probably would not arrive until three to 4:30 PM. I left Pep Boys, and called this firestone. As soon as I arrived at this firestone, the customer service was so much different. The gentleman who checked me in actually walked to my car, to see if I actually needed a new tire. I was apprehensive with the big corporate name but i have to be extremely honest that I have never felt like I've gotten personalized service, honest feedback, and truly both Jason and Dee went out of their way to help me save money.
