This location is crap. I've been using Firestone ever since I could drive and have never had a problem until I moved here. The front staff is rude. Their booking system is ridiculous. I once tried to give a courtesy call / "request an appt" for a tire problem. I was told they don't do walk ins??? Now last week (Friday) I schedule an oil change and an alignment for yesterday (Monday). They ended up canceling and rescheduling my appt for Saturday?? My husband is law enforcement and works nights and off duty as often as possible so we intentionally scheduled for Monday. Anyway, he shows up there today (Tuesday) and the front staff lady is being rude because their system showed it was for a tire change?? Then tells him they won't get to the car for a few hours. This poor man is supposed to be sleeping from working and I'm home with children because the looks they give you for staying in their lobby especially with kids!! Why even make appointments? Although they couldn't repair our boat trailer tire and didn't have one in stock to sell to us, they were Most accommodating and helpful in helping us with the two tires purchased from Walmart... really appreciate this store being open on a Sunday when no other tire shop is!!! Unless you feel like spending all day at a mechanic shop, don't come here. Yes went for new tires. It took 2 days until I had to call to see if my fleet company approved it. I found out they did. I had to call back to see if they came in, which they did. And I called to schedule an appointment. It took 4 hours to install new tires. Then another 10 minutes to check me out. They still didn't have all of the fleet information they needed that's after I asked 2 guys in the front if they could get the paper wirk started and THEY DID NOTHING. read more

I am so very disappointed in Firestone in Calallen. Service has been hit or miss in the past with all Firestone locations I've been to, but my old location would always try to make it right when something was messed up, and I didn't even have to complain. They knew when it was wrong and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and I'm not even that hard to please. Give me a discount coupon for next time and we are good, you know? Therefore, we've been loyal customers for years. So, I booked two appointments, two hours apart at 10 and 12 on my day off for oil changes, alignment on one of the two vehicles, and tire rotation. The intent was to drop off the first vehicle and still have the second to run errands, then drop off the second two hours later and pick up the first. I work 12 hr night shifts so "awake" time is limited for me and I have to do this on days that my husband and I are both off work. Well, my plan got blown to pieces and nothing worked out. When I pull in to drop off the second vehicle, I see the first vehicle on the lift, just starting the oil change. Nothing else has been done. Three hours after my booked appointment time I've been in the waiting area for an hour, still waiting for vehicle one to be finished. I've now cancelled the second vehicle because I do not have all day to wait. To add insult to injury, they charged me $50 for the oil change alone. I've never paid that much anywhere, even the dealer. I booked an appointment so I wouldn't run into this type of issue. I'm usually pretty understanding, but 3+ hours for a $50 oil change is ridiculous. No apology, no excuse, no coupon for my inconvenience, nothing. Just an uncomfortable silence. Not surprising, I wasn't the only customer who was upset. Another customer was loudly complaining when I finally walked out. They don't seem to care that they've officially lost my business, which means I won't be using my Firestone credit card either. Not too smart since I'm in the market to replace my 19 inch low profile tires in the next month or so. I guess it'll be Discount Tire or NTB from now on. On vacation from NM at Port A... On our way home our 1997 subaru's gauges start going crazy then to zero. Power decreases on car so we pull off the road & call AAA & they tow us to this firestone. They never call to update us but near closing I call & they say it's the battery come in the morning to. Battery. We are delighted. In the morning whole different story...one technician on Sunday on memorial weekend & they start all over on diagnostic & the battery, alternator, starter check out but car not starting. We wait til 3 & no calls...they have no clue what the problem is & claim battery is losing acid & recommend $160 diehard battery. Also they said car is soo old the their machine can't diagnose. Battery installed car runs fine for 15 mins & gauges start acting up. So we rented a uhaul truck with car tower to go home...$1300. Chris was useless & as was the technician....after they stuck us with $200 they were rude when we came in. Super imbeciles!! They are only qualified to sell tires & batteries & operate cash register...our first mistake was going to firestone! read more

Disappointed x 2 Several years ago, I went to use them for a company car oil change and was told it would be at least 2 hours to get to it. There were minimal cars there and/or in line. Unfortunately, I didn't have 2 plus hours to wait, so I left and went down the road and had it done in 30 minutes. Fast forward to today, why I don't know but I decided to give them another try. I stopped by there at 7:25 am. There was 1 car on the rack. Spoke to the young lady at the desk and she said it would be at least 12 Noon before they could get to it. I asked again, in case I misunderstood and 12 Noon was confirmed. Uhmm lets see...7:25 am and 12 Noon = 4 1/2 hours, plus just 1 car on the rack. I was hoping for a different outcome, for them as well as me, but it seems in the few years since the first try, the time frame has only just increased. Anyway, I drove back home and made arrangement for another service company to address the service needs of the company car going forward. They will get the repeat business of not only my company car, but also my 2 personal vehicles as well. read more

I took my car to this firestone due to location to my new house and the great service I got from firestone in Corpus Christi. Big mistake please learn from how they treated me. I took the car in because it was chugging when you excel irate and was charged over a thousand dollars "because of all the other stuff it needed" . I got it home still chugging took it back in this time they want $4??.00 four hundred and something to fix it. The got me once but not a second time. Please note I am a disabled female. I came in today on a Saturday for an appointment at 3 after them rescheduling on me 3 times. I get here and they say they're behind on alignments by 2 cars. Then about my rotate and balance they said he's got "guys hurt with back injuries" and they can't handle the big tires on my truck that they're "too heavy" they're only 35x12.5x20s you can do that work on the ground and roll the tires to where you gotta put them. If you can't handle tires you shouldn't work here lol. This place sucks don't come here, I would go somewhere else to get it done but they kept rescheduling all week and I start working Monday on a new job so I'm stuck here. read more

Had a 9 am appointment for a wheel alignment. I live 30 minutes away. I get there at 9 and notice I have a missed call and message from Firestone to cancel my appointment because their tech called in sick. They called at 835 while I'm driving in the rain with a front end that's all over the place. They said I could bring it this afternoon or make an appointment for another day. I cleared up my schedule to make this appointment! It's a tire store and they only have one tech?! Out of the four bays only one had a car in it. The manger in charge (Jaylen?) said there was nothing he could do. This is a shitty way of taking care of the customer! I'll find some place else that needs my money. read more

I really don't have complaints for this Firestone location. Every time I have walked in here the people behind the desk or phone are always friendly and act with genuine sincerity in wanting to fix my problems or help with an oil change, etc. They're always friendly and helpful. The repairs are great, oil changes swift and easy. When they are busy there is an obvious wait time, which is pretty common sense for vehicle repair or vehicle service locations, and usually if it's a long wait they will let you know ahead of time so you can adjust your plans. I went for an oil change and I agreed for a checkup on my car since it was free. They told me I needed 1,000+ in repairs for my brakes, tires, cabin air filter, and battery. I had just had my car inspected by a trusted business, they would have told me if there were any issues with my car. I told them that I just wanted my oil changed and then took it to a family member who works on cars and he told me everything was completely fine the only thing I would need in the next few months was new tires but that it could wait. Then he explained to me that a cabin air filter is $10-$15 at autozone and extremely easy to replace. I know NOTHING about cars and I still did it myself. Firestone wanted to charge me $40 plus $20 for labor for a FILTER. I'll never be taking my car back there. It's disgusting that y'all take advantage of people who know little to nothing about cars and try to scare them into paying a ridiculous amount of money. I would've understood if they had told me it was preventative maintenance, which most of it was, but they made it seem like my car would fall apart before the week was over. read more

Where to start?! I had a near blowout while en route home which is 2 hrs away from this location. I called and advised them of my emergency and that I would be arriving 5 minutes prior to closing. Nicole was professional and friendly. Her and the 2 automotive tech( which I didn't get their names) saved my life!! They made a crazy stressful situation into a wonderful customer service experience. I got 2 new tires and my other 2 checked in under 30 minutes. Fantastic experience. I was driving in to Corpus Christi Saturday afternoon for the 4th of July weekend on Saturday when my A/C stopped working. As we got into town my wife called around to find a place that was both open and willing to take on a job so close to shutting down for a couple days. Firestone encouraged us to come on in and we did. They worked us in pretty quickly and couldn't find a problem. I don't know if we had a stuck valve or blocked intake or whatever, but once they started looking at it, the system started working again. They took good care of me and my family while we waited and sent us on our way with no charge. I even offered to pay an inspection fee and they refused to charge for what they considered to be just a courtesy checkup. We were hot and tired out of town folks with few options on a holiday weekend that could easily have been victims of less scrupulous operators. These fine folks at Firestone took great care of us. If I didn't live 200 miles away, they would be my new auto service shop. read more

Going back 6 months or so I paid almost $200 for a lifetime alignment, after 5 hrs I picked up my vehicle and it hadn't been aligned. Took it back the next morning as discussed and the tech was almost 30 mins late. Came back today for rotation and balance and they are supposed to open at 7am...at 7:22am, there wasn't a soul there. I guess my parents should have read the reviews. The manager Steve is very disingenuous. They scratched my mom's wheels on her BMW M235. At first he said he would make it right by polishing them. Which did nothing but to further damage the wheels. Now he is saying at least to his boss that he didn't scratch them , which is a blatant lie . My step dad goes over there to see if he can resolve this issue because he doesn't seem keen on talking to women and he kept neglecting to call them back . Steve said there was nothing he could do about it . My step dad said " I guess I'll have take it to your corporate office ." Steve got in my step dad's face and said "is that a threat !" My step dad said "no but if you aren't going to keep your word then I have to contact your corporate office." There is something seriously wrong , mentally with anyone who gets that upset over something he said he would make right. I don't know if he is mentally challenged or has anger issues. I'm guessing it's a little bit of both. But it's time to make it right as well as get someone who is professional and courteous . read more

My company has had an account with this store for years and recently I took over as manager. Each time a vehicle was brought in it took weeks, sometimes months to fix and had to be repaired multiple times as the last repair work (done here) never actually worked. It was as if they did all the repairs with duct tape. Still, we had a contract and it took a while to find another vendor. My last visit was for my personal vehicle. I had bought a set of tires here about two months prior and had a blowout. Not only did they not honor the warranty, I had to buy a new tire and it took nearly FIVE HOURS TO GET ONE TIRE PUT ON. The tire I had on was a loaner from my mechanic. I told the clerk specifically "Give me that tire back, it is not mine and I have to return it." The last thing I asked was "Did you put the loaner tire back where the spare goes for me". I was told yes. I drove all the way to the other side of town to give the tire back only to find the tire was not there. My mechanic, who is a lot more honorable than yours, was gracious enough not to make me pay for the tire that your company basically stole from me. Not only will I never step into the Leopard location again, even though our branch is literally two miles away, since we are required to purchase tires from a Firestone dealer, we will drive all the way to Calallan and do our business there. read more
