Brendan is a new Manager brought in from out of town. He has brought the customer service back to being Elite. About three years ago the customer service fell off a cliff. went from being a model to being awful and unreliable. it is now back to the way it was. I had been avoiding going back. Absolutely awful experience. I had my car worked on a few weeks ago, which should have been a one day job. They broke something else and kept my car for an entire week while they waited on a part, which they swore would only take a day to get. They lied to my face multiple times. AND THEN when they offer free service for something else they broke, I schedule an appointment for 10 for 2 hours, and when I come back 2 hours later, MY CAR HASNT BEEN MOVED. Also, this place is absurdly overpriced. Better to find somewhere else to fix your car read more

Beware of this company unless you are getting tires. They worked on my van...was having issues with my oil. They replaced a part with the wrong part, caused more problems, and ended up having it towed to another location to get it fixed. Anytime I needed an update, I had to call because, even though they said they would, they would never call with an update. After I had to pay them and then the 2nd location to fix the problems they caused, I called and asked them to escalate to management and corporate to discuss possible reimbursement from them over the issues they caused. One year later and I'm still waiting. Avoid this business! read more

Trash honestly is the only word to describe the service here. If you want to feel disrespected, hated, time wasted, and receive a good verbal slap across the face - this is the place for you. UPDATE: after review the receipt for services allegedly performed on vehicle does not match the codes on the receipt NOR the code that we ran prior to taking to the shop. We feel they charged us for work that wasn't even necessary on the vehicle. No proof of the broken parts. No proof of any additional diagnostics completed to lead them to do all of the additional work. Seriously unprofessional, gender bias and took advantage of my sister. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! This location is a joke. Took Sister's car in for code reading of a bad o2 sensor and engine light on. After a week, they replaced the sensor and engine knock sensor, mass air flow sensor, etc. Bill resulting in over $1200. Within 24 hrs the engine light came on again. Returned car to be fixed. Few days later was told car was ready but needed to pickup within the next hour before store manager Nick was leaving for vacation. Arrived after work, and after got a ride to the shop and was denied picking up the car bc was told she owed an additional approx $197 for labor and that one of the parts they had installed was bad. Brian told us that they had to eat the cost of the part but was charging for labor. Questions re their triple promise guarantee and they refused to answer. For 6 days her car was held, until Nick returned to work today. When we went in, the amount owed kept changing. $197, $136, $300 something. Nick even went so far to say that when it came back the other sensor was reading bad and they had to replace it. But the original receipt shows that sister paid for both sensors the first round. Didnt catch this when speaking to Nick this morning. I questioned Nick as to whether they were requesting payment for labor or parts and he said labor. Brian, the stand in manager while Nick was out, the day before gave us a printout that clearly was for the sensor. Again, already purchased week before and kept being told it was for labor, which again should be covered until their warranty guarantee. After a week, 3 visits to the shop, a police officer coming, a formal demand letter given to Nick who refused to read it or take it, we finally got her keys turned over and car returned and zero balance. This is unacceptable and a complaint has already been filed with the State Attorney General. She was never compensated for loss of use of her vehicle for a week, as well as, no reimbursement for the upcharges she already paid (invoice for warranty info shows 266% upcharge on the one sensor, and her inconvenience and stress incurred because of all of this. I am certain they took advantage of her low income and gender bias. Do NOT shop here for anything! They will lie to you, hold you vehicle hostage until you call them out on their lies and shady consumer practices. read more

Blown away honestly have been going here for 23 years and today was told I have to hire a toe truck to move my broken down vehicle from there parking spot to a repair bay. I'm sorry but that is a tool you should have to get broken down vehicles from the parking lot inside. Don't walk but run away from this place. Toe your vehicle somewhere else. read more

I've taken my car here 3-4 times now, for regular maintenance and once for an urgent flat tire situation. They are always super friendly, upfront about costs (and what you do and don't need), and the tires I've bought have held up very well. I'm surprised by the negative reviews as I've had no negative experiences! Another bonus is they always schedule last-minute appointments so it's convenient and quick. Thrives took my hummer in to put a tire on the passenger rear. They disconnected my breaks going to my passenger front tire. No telling what else they did I'm getting all kinds of Errors going off in my Hummer no! This happened today. Nothings open until christmas is over. Had to have it towed home. Last week, I went to the Firestone Complete Auto Care in Evansville, IN at the North First Street location. The guys were great in explaining the issues that were going on with the car & the expense to repair all problems. The guys were very pleasant & friendly & told me to make myself at home since I would have a long wait, which I didn't mind. I did have an appt & took a lot of stuff to work on to pass time while repairs were being made. The waiting area was a good set-up with cable tv which I ended up watching the whole time. TIme to be casual instead of busy!!! I will recommend them to anyone looking for auto care business for great service & attention to the customer to make their wait as comfortable as possible. read more

Brought my Honda Civic to Firestone for new brakes and because the maintenance light was on. They told me my car needed a new air conditioner belt and timing belt, in addition to new brakes and rotors. Total cost would be $1200. I had the brakes and rotors replaced for $600, but decided to wait for the belts because my car seemed to be driving just fine. I then took my Honda to the Honda Dealership (great place by the way) and they told me the maintenance light was on because there was an airbag recall, NOT because it needed new belts. The belts were fine. If I had Firestone replace my belts, it would have cost me an unnecessary $600 and I would have still been driving around with a defective airbag. Just goes to show why it's important to get a second opinion. read more

Seems like ever since they changed the name to Firestone from Expert tire I've had nothing but problems. Anything from them not doing all the checks they are suppose to, to them recommending repairs on parts my car doesn't even have. read more
