came in for a simple oil change because I was passing by and saw there was no wait. came out with a list of 10 things wrong with my car that "urgently needed fixing", including a new battery, air filter, brake pads and rotors. I was skeptical since I'd recently been to my trusted mechanic who hadn't mentioned one of these things, so I took it back to him to look at. he confirmed that not one of these things needed fixing. sad to think about how many people have gotten work done after being told it's urgent and unsafe to be driving, when there was no issue to begin with. will never go back here read more

Nobody even asked what I wanted and then when they did come and see what I wanted they told me that there was a place right up the road for me to get some air. I've never had this problem with any other fire stone I will never come back here. Just because you only have one technician does not mean you don't have to fill up somebody's tires if they need it. GO TO KELLER'S TIRES INSTEAD!! Where is the "0" star option? I've wondered why over the past couple of years the parking lot at this store evolves into a ghost town. Today, I learned why. Their store manager, Jay Bullard, confuses the differences between rotations and alignments. When I asked for Wayne (an older gentleman who is THE BEST in town) to do my alignment, Jay told me "Wayne can't do your alignment because your tires are too heavy." I corrected the request and clarified that the weight of my tires isn't prohibitive because Wayne's done my alignment before. Jay proceeds to argue with me about what I said. I told him, "Fine...I'll just sit over here and wait." At this point, Jay stares me down and starts glaring at me out of the top of his eyes. I told him not to "eye f**k" me and asked what his problem was. Jay told me his shop isn't going to work on my truck and to leave. I asked for the store owner's business contact information and he refused to provide it to me. This is a small town. Everyone knows everyone. Everyone talks. This business has rapidly lost its customer base. If you're a local - shop local. If you're a visitor/tourist - shop somewhere (ANYWHERE) else! Btw, he's in a relationship with one of the customer service reps so don't expect much help on that front. read more

Every time I come alone without a "grown up" I get treated differently. I came in asking to get my car looked at/checked up on, got told they "don't do that" with the a perplexed "I have no idea what you're saying" face and was told they only do inspections. Am I wrong or do you check up on a car during an inspection?? (My dad comes in with me with his broken english and they know exactly what he means with the little words he can use). My terminology isn't great but I didn't come in to feel like I'm dumb. I feel like my voice and concerns were not heard. I said inner door hinge, he heard outer door. I also mentioned that I might need my car realigned and if they would check that but that was also disregarded. Last time I went in my car's battery was completely drained (made a complaint to them personally but was waved off) and I couldn't start it up and had to buy a new battery, this time they checked my tires said it was good and full and not even an hour later after I picked it up and drove it a literal mile away, my tires needed to get pumped cause my low tire pressure lights were blaring in my eyes and the valve caps were kinda loose. I don't know what it is but I just keep getting disappointed with the negligence and arrogance. I cannot recommend them at all. read more

I was told total job would be $230 for 4x tire install and 1x stud, which was already cross threaded when I took it off due to a flat. I go to pick my truck up and am told total is $430. My fiancé scheduled, online, days in advance, to have new tires put on his truck. This morning we took the truck in, but we were told there was no appointment for him scheduled (even after he received email confirmation that it was scheduled, and that his credit card payment was pending until after the service was completed), as the on online scheduling and the in-house scheduling are not connected to each other. After being told it would be a long wait since we didn't have an appointment, it would be late afternoon until it would be done. My question to Firestone, why have on line scheduling if it doesn't actually schedule you? Also, the clerk behind the counter was very unconcerned about wasting our morning... not to mention both bathrooms were out of service. Firestone, your business leaves a lot to be desired. Wish I could give zero stars I bought all four of my tires here and $500 in new tire sensors. When I cranked the car up after service there was a knock in the dash that has never been there before. They wouldn't even look at the problem and told me to take it to the dealer to have it fixed. They talked to me like I was a stupid woman and offered nothing to resolve the problem. Mike trying to rip people off. Do not go here. I went to get my AC fixed and a fuse checked because wipers weren't working. They kept my car for three days and fixed AC. Said it was a grounding issue but who knows. They wanted to charge me over $900 to replace combination switch, 500 for labor, that would be 12 hrs at 40 an hour, to replace a switch that I could do myself in less than an hour. The wiper fuse was in the wrong spot, and they put the wipers on wrong. Either they did that on purpose or they made some major amateur mistakes, either way, it was the worst nightmare scenario we all fear when taking our cars into a shop. read more

they cant even tighten lug nuts. After getting new tires from here, my daughter got into her car and drove off. Not even two miles later one of the tires had fallen off. We jacked it up and properly tighten them. We had then checked the rested of the nuts and found that none of them were properly tightened. after calling to complain he had told me to drive it back there so they can take a look. REALLY!!! I literally cannot say enough good things about these guys. I drove to FL from Atlanta over Labor Day weekend and had tire problems the last 20-30 miles. I had 2 stripped lug studs that the Goodyear in Navarre couldn't fix (they rendered my car unsafe to drive and then made me pay for tires). Firestone knew immediately they could fix it and had the parts 8 hours. Another problem came up and they didn't know if they could find the part in time for my departure; I have a European car and the parts are hard to come by. Nathan explained the problem to me and even sent pictures of the problem to my dad. They emailed AFTER HOURS to find this part. He finally found it and fixed my car in time for me to leave. I took my truck there sat. morning for a diagnostic test and a thermostat, they said $175. I called sat. evening they say about to get to it and call me sun. I pick it up sun. at noon and it's $475. said the thermostat housing was bad, they should have called me before replacing it. I start the truck and my vent changer doesn't work just the defroster, I go get him and he says it's the vent door and they weren't around it, bring it back next week. I got home and look at it, a vacuum hose is cut in half by the fan guard. That controls the vent door, I fixed it myself. Then I notice the temp. gauge still isn't working. I google it and replace the thermostat sending sensor, finally works. Should have googled it and done the work myself and saved my money! Prices are outrageous. I never got a report on the diagnostic test, who knows if they even did it. The customer service was okay the first time. I noticed the enthusiasm from a serviceman (let's call him Terry) to help me changed when I made face to face contact. His whole demeanor changed but I stayed optimistic. This Firestone performed a 4 tire replacement and an alignment. Not even a week later my car is pulling and making a hum sound. I go back to this Firestone only to see the same guy (Terry) who didn't acknowlege me until there was no one else at the counter to do so-1st mistake. I explain what is happening and he pretends to look at the computer as if there is no way he could get me in to correct the maintenance HIS establishment made-2nd mistake. He did however offer an appointment for tomorrow as if its okay to let me continue to drive on the half done job. He showed NO CONCERN whatsoever...From day one I was judged before I even opened my mouth and the service that followed reflects this. I actually drove right down to Hurlburt Field's Firestone the same day and THEY CORRECTED THE WORK!! If you are fairskinned, take your chances otherwise GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more
