If I could give zero stars, I would. I write this as this has been my second horrible experience at this location. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt for a tire rotation...nope it's just bad. I scheduled an appointment at Firestone Golden Triangle Fort Worth for a simple flat tire repair. Not a transmission overhaul, not rocket science -- a FLAT. TIRE. I arrived early, expecting efficiency. What I got was an absolutely pathetic display of incompetence. I've now been sitting here for over THREE HOURS, with no update, no explanation, and no indication that anyone knows what they're doing. And just when I thought it couldn't get worse -- it did. I drive an electric vehicle, and at some point, the brilliant minds here decided to pop the frunk (front trunk)... and leave it open for hours. That's not where the tire is. That's not where anything relevant to the issue is. It's like they opened it hoping the car would fix itself or drop them a hint. This location is an absolute joke. What's the point of having an appointment system if you can't manage basic workflow? My time is clearly meaningless to this staff, and their knowledge of efficiency -- or customer service in general -- is laughable. Firestone Golden Triangle, congratulations. Dropped in at 12:30 to get my oil changed and to check the brakes. The oil change went pretty fast but the brakes were a whole other story. At 5:15pm they started changing the brakes. I sat in the lobby patiently until 5:00. When I asked the guy at the counter he told me "they told everyone it was going to be awhile" as they only have 1 mechanic. I explained I was told it would be a 2 hour wait. I am now 5 hours in and am still waiting. On top of that, the manager Jessie was a jerk. read more

They said they would have to get one and it would take at least another 1 1/2 hours. While I was there waiting several customers came in and there was no one to meet them. Summary: On July 19, 2024 I arrived to the Firestone (Golden Circle) due to my car experiencing a strange rattling sound somewhere underneath the vehicle. I was met by Sara which immediately stated that the current wait time is 2-3 hours and that the business was currently extremely busy. That was before Sara asked what was wrong with my vehicle. I advised her of the ongoing issues with my vehicle and she still insisted that if I wanted to get my vehicle seen it would be 2-3 hours. I agreed and told her I would wait the 2-3 hours. About 15 minutes passed and Sara came back stating that my vehicle was "checked out" and that my vehicle had engine knocking. Sara stated that the engine was moving and that it would be an expensive repair that would probably cost thousands of dollars. Sara even stated "most people would just go buy a new car". I payed the $9 to get my car inspected and walked to the parking lot. My car was still in the same parking spot i had parked it in. I immediately went to the Caliber Auto Care (Golden Triangle) across the street and was met by an employee named Sean. I advised I was there to get a second opinion from what Firestone had just told me. Sean went up to my car and even drove around the block to listen to the noise. Sean then put the vehicle on a lift and found the problem. The heat shield was loose due to a washer coming undone. Sean put a new washer, fixed it in 5 minutes at no cost. Recommendation: If a Firestone technician can't even move your car out of its parking spot, put the car on a lift, or simply look under it they probably need retraining. These sort of interactions with the consumer base do not instill confidence or trust in the brand or this branch. A complaint will be filed with the Texas DPS inspection station division. If they can't be trusted with inspecting a vehicle properly, the safety of the driver(s) on the road CANNOT be placed in their hands. read more

We had a blowout yesterday afternoon when my husband jumped a curb in the Walmart parking lot,he took the car to the neighboring Firestone. He had previously purchased 2 sets of tires our daughters and granddaughters cars with good quality service. The rep told us it would be 2 hours before they could mount a new tire. My husband had to go to work so he took me home and dropped the car off after work to be picked up this afternoon. When we arrived to pick up the car they hadn't touched it. We had to wait another hour to pay for 2 new tires and retrieve or car. We will go elsewhere next time read more

Made an appointment for a wheel alignment for 4pm on a Thursday. I showed up about 15 min early, waited to get checked in, handed off the keys, and sat in the waiting area. There was one technician working and they had other cars in the bays already. About 30 min into waiting, someone walked in and said they had a nail in their tire. They got checked in and sat down. About 30 min later another person walked in and said they had a nail in their tire. Neither had appointments. I watched as one after another these walk in folks had their cars pulled in while mine sat in the lot even though I had an appointment. After that I went to the desk and asked for my keys back so I could leave. They handed me the wrong keys. Then they couldn't find my keys. Unreal. They said "oh I bet that's why it didn't get pulled in" There was only one person working the desk so no manager to talk to. I called Firestone customer service and explained what happened. They said the manager would call me within 3 business days. A week later and nobody called. I made another appointment at Firestone in Watauga and was in and out in under an hour. Do yourself a favor and go to watauga or just a different shop. Don't waste your time at the golden triangle location. read more

I'm not sure you even deserve one star! We were in the middle of a long trip with a UHAUL trailer and found that we had a nail in our pickup truck tire and we were slowly losing air pressure. Firestone was open, so we pulled in as the tire was going flat. At first, they were interested and helping us. They spent time asking us many questions about the vehicle. This took approximately 25 minutes. When they found out that we were only interested in repairing the tire and not purchasing a new tire, they suddenly didn't have the time or interest in helping us. We understand that they were busy, but they refused emergency assistance and told us to look elsewhere while our tire continued to lose air. This is a bad representation of Firestone as they were only interested in helping us if we were going to be purchasing a $300+ tire from them. They denied us assistance when they found out it was a minor cost and tire repair. Thank goodness we immediately started calling other places, and Pep Boys offered to stay open late to accommodate our emergency. They also did not charge us anything to repair the flat. We of course tipped them for staying late and giving us first class customer service. I understand that all businesses are interested in making a profit, but some businesses especially those that provide a critical service should have a higher expectation of service to help those who find themselves in an emergency situation. Thank you again to everyone involved at Pep Boys! You rock! And for those at Firestone on Golden Triangle - shame on you - for only being interested in a high dollar sale and not helping someone in obvious need. read more

Worst experience ever! I went in for a normal oil change on my vehicle. Instead of changing the oil, the service tech drained my transmission fluid and added oil to the transmission reservoir, This really messed up my vehicle when I went to drive away. The car started bucking and make some really loud noises. My car only had 15,000 miles on it. I am currently in a rental now, while Firestone takes my car to a transmission shop for it to be looked at and see what damage was actually done. read more

I have had several experiences at this location over the last 6 months that have been less than desirable. Starting with buying a set of tires 6 months back. I was there for a set of tires, brakes and an oil change. After about 30 minutes I was told my battery was "iffy" and they tried to upsell me. I knew I had purchased it less than a year prior and was not having any problems so I didn't go for it. Since then, I came back on 3 separate occasions to get a state inspection but they were not able to do it for me because they didn't have the right person on duty, come back tomorrow. I fell for it twice more before giving up. Then last Saturday, Dec 16th I had made an appointment for service at 4:00PM and showed up 15 minutes early. I needed an oil change, new wipers, a tire rotation and I knew that my car had been a little sluggish starting so I requested an electrical system check. they didn't even touch my car until 4:30 and 45 minutes later they were done. I was told that there was nothing wrong with my battery or electrical system. Yesterday, Dec 19th my car would not start. I opened the hood to examine the battery and took the attached picture. Obviously, I needed a new battery, and I got one. What makes me upset is that I brought my vehicle in to be inspected and when you do that, you are looking for problems for which you can offer solutions. No one took the time to say, "Sir, you have a problem, and we have a solution". That's what I made an appointment and paid for. To their credit, when I returned again with my receipts and pictures and explained the story, I was given a refund for the inspection that I paid for and treated well. I went in this morning at 845 am worried about a tire that might have a leak. Waited at front desk for 10 minutes and no one came to the desk. The workers in the car area could see me and just kept working. Then I called the number to see if anyone would answer. The phone just rang and rang. Finally someone came out of the office where he had been sitting the whole time. I told him why I was there and he said it would "two and a half hours before I can even look at it". Really sir? Called to check on the battery cover and was informed they would contact me after they talked to the person who removed it. I purchased Indy 500 fire hawk tires with the road hazard protection. I had gotten a nail in my right rear tire so I called this Firestone franchise and then was put on hold for almost 6 minutes, when I finally was answered i had questions about my performance tire and if a patch would void the speed rating. I also asked about the road hazard protection in comparison to the speed rating and also the tread depth coverage. The whole time the phone operator was uninformed on their own policies. He was in a rush to end when I asked about the "pro rated purchase" if the Tread depth was under standards, he asked with sarcasm "How long have you worked in tires?" I answered "Im a real Technician at CarMax On East Chase in Arlington." Which was led by horrible awkward silence. The man did not help me gather any knowledge on their own company standards before setting up an appointment or the outcome of the final purchase with the warranty and for that I do not recommend any customer spend their money here. read more

DO NOT GO HERE IT MAY COST YOU YOUR LIFE!!! I went to this firestone one day because I suddenly started hearing some bad noises from my car. They took a look, said I needed new brake pads and to come back because the engine needed a $100 test. I let them do my brakes and asked the manager and mechanics multiple times if it was safe to drive. They said yes. I lived 25 miles away and had to take the highway back home. I had my car taken to the firestone by my house and the manager called me to let me know that this firestone incorrectly installed my brakes!! I have a note from him stating so. He told me my engine was fine, it's a 3 cylinder so making some noise is fine. They either purposely lied to me when they said my car was safe to drive or they're so incompetent that they thought it was. I'm guessing the latter if they couldn't correctly install brakes. 22% of car accidents are related to brake failure and I easily could have been hurt or killed in an accident. If you want to make sure your car is safe, DO NOT USE THIS FIRESTONE!!! This was brought up to the store and they did not care. Lied and said I would be getting an apology email, which obviously they didn't send. And obviously no action taken by the people who could have gotten me killed! read more
