I have left many critical and complimentary reviews on google. I feel it's important to share experiences both ways with other potential customers When it's wrong I'll let you know. When it's right, the same. But in the case of this Firestone in Greenacres, it's beyond right. IT IS EXCEPTIONAL!!! There are several tire and brake facilities in the area and I tend to go where the sales are. Unfortunately, there is sometimes compromise for savings. It comes at the expense of customer service and satisfaction. I have been going to this Firestone location for years, but it's my last 2 experiences that are motivation for this review About a year ago, my wife's Subaru forester right side tires were losing pressure. I took it to a place down the street and they said all set. 1 day later the tires were low. I brought it back to that kingdom of tires and they said they could not find anything wrong with them I then brought it to Firestonecwith the same complaint. The technicians ran a multitude of checks but could not find the problem. Most places just shrug their shoulders and send you off. But at Firestone, the manager was overseeing the issue and would not let me leave. He personally rolled down his sleeves and got involved. Within a few minutes he found an unobvious issue with the valve stems. 39 minutes later the tires were fixed and we have not had an issue since. I cannot stress how important it is to have trust in your vehicle's operation, and after the Firestone repair worrying about if we were going to get a flat was gone! 2 days ago my car would not start. I jumped it and thought the problem was solved. The next day the same thing happened so I brought it to Firestone where I had bought the battery. There I met a young man at the front desk, Jonathon. As young as he may have been, he was extremely knowledgeable about the issue and diagnosed the battery as bad. What made this person stand out was his incredible demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction. I am 63 years and don't think I have ever met someone this nice and effective in this business. He was a pleasure to work and is an asset to this business. So any way, he ordered me a new battery for the next day (today). When I got up, my car was completely dead. I had to jump start it and drive it over to Firestone. Before they installed the battery, they ran an alternator/battery/starter diagnostic. For some reason the battery passed. This was a problem because technically they can't warranty the battery with a positive diagnostic. I was concerned because the car was having an obvious issue and tested negative the day before. This was going to be one of those deal with it until it fails again type of situations. Well, the manager got involved and authorized the replacement. He knew this was going to be an ongoing issue, and since the battery had failed felt confident this was the correct solution. Once again, I walked out of there with the confidence my car was going to work the next day and beyond So it's not just the manager here. It's all of his staff. This is a well run business that has earned my trust and patronage. I am no longer going to service my car just on coupons and deals. I am brining both my cars to Firestone. I came to Firestone yesterday afternoon. They told me to come back this morning. I came back at 9 o'clock this morning. Tells me it's gonna be all day but then says give me a couple hours. I had to walk 2 miles home walk 2 miles back. I get back here. My truck is not been touched and they're saying it's gonna take until 6 o'clock now. Do not come to Firestone and Green acres on Lake Worth Rd and jog Road. They are unprofessional. They suck. It's not our fault that fucking people call out when you say something to a customer. Was sent here from the lantana and lyons location because at 3pm they had no one to handle a simple nail in the tire even though they closed at 5pm. I arrived at this location by 3:15-20 at the latest. I was greeted by a guy, explained my issue and he advised I would have to leave it until the am. They also close at 5pm and had no one that could handle a nail in the tire. He advised it was his first day and he couldn't recommend another location. The female "training" him then recommended tires plus at 10th/Congress area because "they work pretty fast". Ok so basically you guys are either slow or lazy because again you close at 5 and it's 3:20 (at the latest). Wouldn't recommend this location either. If they say they close at 5pm. Droppd my car off to get an oil change and to replace the front right turn signal which they said could be done. I get a call around 3 and the guy tells me that they have the bulb for the turn signal and that they are going to install it and that I could be there at 4:30PM to pick up my car. I get there at 4:30Pm and they tell me that they could only get the oil change done because "The only had 3 techs" working that day. I was informed that my wheel alignment and tire rotation would take about 2 hours, but it ended up taking over 3. Additionally, the facility's cleanliness was concerning, and there was no proper waiting area or signage indicating it was under construction. When I initially purchased the lifetime alignment, a staff member promised me free lifetime tire rotations if I opened a Firestone credit card. I opened the card based on that assurance and received two free rotations. However, during my last visit, a new staff member told me I would now have to pay for tire rotations because the previous employee was no longer with the company. After leaving an online review, I was contacted by the location and told to come in for a refund and to have my free lifetime rotation recorded in their system. I confirmed an appointment for the next day, but when I arrived, the staff made excuses and said I needed to return next week because the manager wasn't available. I've used Firestone for 15 years at various locations, and I have never experienced such poor service. This inconsistent communication and lack of professionalism is frustrating, and I feel misled. read more

Called to get a price on tires, I was given the amount out the door. My tires were in the next morning. I dropped my car off, within 2 hours I got a call my car was ready. My favorite part about this whole experience? They didn't call me or try to harass me about other things wrong with my car like most places typically do. I scheduled an appointment thinking this would help lower the time I'd spend waiting for the service to be done, only to find out 2 hours is their standard wait with an appointment. My car sat in the parking lot for over an hour before they started to work on it, which only took around 30-45 minutes for them to complete. Don't accept appointments if you're not able to do the requested service at the designated appointment time/within a reasonable time. If my car was sitting for that long, they were clearly not ready for me at the scheduled time. read more

Had very good experience here. My car died in the adjacent Walmart parking lot. I managed to get my car over there and it was late in the afternoon. I was totally prepared for it to be an overnight job. Mario and Vanessa and another gentleman whose name I cannot recall were very upfront, honest, and fair. They did not tighten the rear toe bolts even close to spec. I asked the guy a good few times regarding this issue he said it's all good. I can imagine that's fine on a regular car like a camry or something, but if you are doing any performance driving with a sporty car it would be a good idea to have the bolts torqued to spec. Their alignment guy just used adjustable wrenches, they were maybe at ~40 ft-Ib. Torque spec is 130. I was concerned so I went ahead and torqued it myself on some ramps. It may shift easily if it is that loose. Also if you have a low car they will likely not be able to adjust camber. Their lift cannot swing up under the alignment rack it hits the car. I was only able to zero out the toe which was also kinda upsetting...half alignment basically. Moral of the story if you have a higher end/sportier car go somewhere you can trust like a performance shop. read more

I came in for fluid service on my transmission. Vanessa was the one that service she was nice. She gave me an estimate and proceed with the service. She told me it was going to be 2 hours and maybe 30 mins. I came in at 1030 am with an appointment of 11am left close to 2pm. I told them why the wait . I spoke with Dave and he advice that they were short staff. I can understand that but one thing is having staff another different thing is telling the customer a specific hour that is not right. OMG. Never again. I understand customer service is not great in Southern Florida but come on. I stopped in with a screw in my tire. I asked how long. He's said I can get you right in. An hour and 45 minutes later I'm checking out. In the meantime I observed the technician, Eduardo, getting back into my car twice after he had parked it and removed all the protective plastic, to use his cell phone! Upside- I no longer have a screw in my tire and the gentlemen in the office we're great, however, I will not be returning or recommending. Oh I forgot to mention the poor guy waiting with me. On Saturday March, 27, 2021, I showed up at 7:30am to my previously booked reservation at Firestone Complete Auto Care on 3810 Jog Rd, Greenacres, FL 33467 (Store #027871). I had booked a reservation online for an oil change. When I came into the store Glee was at the counter. I told him that I had a reservation for an oil change. He confirmed. I asked him about an inspection. He said "Okay". I ask him for the price. He said "$9". I gave him my key and identified my car. I then waited for my car to be serviced. Around hour and a half later, I received a call from Firestone Store #027871, with recommendations on services needed for my car. I then proceeded to ask them to check my brakes. He said that he would look at it. At this time, I had no idea if my oil change was finished or not. I then proceeded to wait for my car to be finished. After another hour and a half, I waited at the desk to ask if my car was finished being serviced. I waited for a while and no one asked me any questions. I was just being ignored it seems. Glee and David (the manager) were at the desk. I then went to David and asked if my car was finished. He said yes after confirming with his employee. He then asked for my payment and told me my bill was $98.26 AFTER I had inserted my card. I told him that it was incorrect and wanted to know why. I had a coupon for a $26 oil change. He immediately became irate and flustered and told me that I had a FULL SYNTHETIC oil change. I told him that I did not ask for that and that I signed up online for an oil change. I asked him to show me the invoice. He was immediately aggravated. He told me that he would give me a "credit back". The new total was $60.42. I said "sir, why is it still that high? I came in for a $26 oil change plus the $10 inspection, that is less than $50". He then proceeded to tell me to get out my calculator in a demeaning manner and snatch the invoice out of my hand because it was "his copy". I told him "sir, $26 plus $10 is less than $50". At this time, David is talking over me and telling me that I have to pay. He then tells me "well you have 7% tax". I proceed to tell him that "$26 plut $10, plus $4 is still less than $50". He gets louder and says" WELL YOU'RE A ROCK HEAD AND YOU DON'T LISTEN". Horrid that he was demeaning me in the store and calling me names, I asked him to calm down and proceed to tell him that I didn't do anything wrong to him personally and that I was not trying to steal from him. I told him that ,while I understand the value in the difference of the oil, I did not ask for that type. I then asked if I could speak with anyone else. David proceeds to tell me that he is the manager and that "I will NOT be talking to anyone else". At this time, he is still calling me names and talking over me. I told him that was being unprofessional by raising his voice and calling me a rock head. Glee then proceeds to tell me that "I am getting the best deal!" and that his boss is not being unprofessional. Glee was the one to confirm my reservation and he put the type of oil in. He was not being accountable or taking any responsibility. David, the manager, then says " well if you don't want the oil, we can pull your car in and drain it all out". They were already behind schedule. This was a threat to make me continue with my payment. I then tried to explain again that I did not ask for that type of oil and that I should not be "credited back" but charged with what I came in for, which was a $26 oil change and a $10 inspection. David told me again that "YOU don't listen". I have never met David before, I was there alone as a young black female in South Florida. To me, he and his coworkers were discriminating against me because of my color and taking advantage of me due to my sex as well. Finally, David printed out my invoice. Threw it at me, and said "it doesn't matter, I have your card and account anyways". He had charged me without my signature by using my Tire Plus card, which is affiliated with Firestone as well. David then walks away. I had to ask, almost begging and distraught at this point, for him to give me my keys. I then had to go to the parking lot to find my own car, as it was not in the front.. When I get to my car, the seat plastic they used was squashed into the seat. The dirty white floor paper was thrown on the passenger side floor. When leaving the parking lot, my car was making a bad sound from the driver's front side. It seems that when they did the inspection, they wore down the "screw" that my lug nuts fit on. My car is now completely unsafe to drive. Currently, billed to my account is $98.26, while the invoice says $60.42 and confirms that I did not want that type of oil change. They could have just acknowledged their mistake, allowed me to pay the difference and offered me a free standard oil change. Instead, they choose to be defensive, criminalistic, demeaning, and unprofessional. Update on my review: the stud fell off with the lug nut. read more

I called yesterday for an appointment because when I went for an oil change at the dealership , they brought my attention to the battery which had some green gunk on top of it. The battery was bought 2 1/2 years ago so I figured I'd have them check it out. The appointment was at 1:00, I got there about 10 minutes early. The clerk said it would be a looked at in a little bit so I waited. I kept looking to see if it was taken i and finally after 30 minutes, the guy says mechanic would be back from lunch in a bit. Why did they give me an appointment at 1 then!!! Another 30 minutes and I was told, I'm next! Waited another 40 minutes, I see the car was moved and parked again. Clerk tells me , oh, it's done! Well aren't they supposed to let the customer know this! I will never go back here again unless the battery is still under warranty. This place is horrible. read more

I have been a Firestone customer for many years. A year ago I moved to another town and had to give up my usual Firestone place. About a year ago I had a flat tire and decided to try the Firestone in my new neighborhood. Service was subpar and the wait was brutal but I persevered. Last night (thursday) when I came home I discovered I had another flat tire. Immediately went online to schedule an appt. at Firestone to get a new tire. There was an opening for Saturday at 7 a.m. so I quickly took the spot! This morning (friday) I get a call at 9.05 from the Firestone on jog road in Greenacres, Fl. the guy says he got my appointment sees I need a tire replacement and asks me how many. I tell him I only need one tire due to a flat. The asshole then turns around and tells me he cannot fit me in until 10:00. Seriously? I purposely scheduled an appt so I would not be a walk-in and I have to wait hours and because I did not need a set of 4 tires my appointment was not going to be honored? What kind of bullshit is that??? I will never return to that location and will make sure all of my friends and neighbors no longer go there. What gall they have to turn you away from an appointment because it was an inconvenience and I guess an oil change customer is more important!!! My girlfriend went in for an oil change and and to change her brake pads. someone told her she needed to get her motor mounts changed and it would cost over 1,000$ to replace them. The worst mechanic I have ever dealt. Horrible communication. paid almost $1,000 for a new fan in my car due to over heating on Monday . The next day (Tuesday) my fan was still acting funky . I brought my car in waited over an HOUR, for them to look at my car and tell that there was nothing wrong my is supposed to be making a loud noise when it runs. I decided to go to the shop up the street. After they checked out my car, they fixed it in a matter of minutes by "tighten a few loose things".... $180 later my car is running fine. Note, my car just hit 100k miles. These things could have become "loose" on their own due to wear and tear, but isn't ironic that the second I drive off the lot, my car starts acting funny? Wow. The worst counter service. Ever. I called last week for four new tires, got a good price, booked my appointment for Noon today. Glad I came in early. Stood at the counter for 15 minutes while an inept salesperson tried to 'help' other people by showing them her computer screen anytime they asked a question. She didn't verbally answer a question, just turned the screen around to face the customer and stood there. Saying nothing. I should have walked out. I hope the guys in the shop are better at their jobs. Everyone at the front counter obviously would rather be somewhere else. Won't be coming back here - doesn't matter how good a price I received on the tires. Zero morale at the counter - not a good face to greet your customers. They do not instill a sense of knowledge or trust. I have been here since 11:30, had a noon appointment, was told 1.5hrs when I booked the appointment. I'm at the 2hr mark. Just told it'll be another half hour. 2pm. That's the time I told them at 11:30 that I had to leave to get to work. Why do I feel I'm getting a half hour 'punishment'? Do not come here. I went in because of low tire pressure. While there, I discovered a spike in my tire. Danny told me it could be plugged. I told Danny I thought it needed a new tire. No, no, Danny said. 2.5 hours later, the tech told me I needed a new tire, which they didn't have in stock. Naturally. A tire was orderd. "We'll call you when it comes in." No phone call.
