I normally post positive reviews however, my experience with this place has been less than desirable. My daughter took her 15 year old Mercedes to them last fall for an issue which ended up being the alternator. Firestone "repaired" this and within a week it failed and they needed to repair/replace it again. This week, she had a brake light come on and I told her to go to Firestone in hopes it was just going to be a quick brake job. They told her she needed an ABS module as well as all new brakes and rotors, front and back and gave of quote of $3991.83. We decided to take the car to our mechanic which we should have done in the first place but we were leary to drive it on the highway. Our mechanic found the ABS module indeed does need replaced however, he called Mercedes and found that this is a known problem and they will fix UNDER WARRANTY! He also stated the brakes and rotors are completely fine and have "plenty of meat on them". I will never trust or go to another Firestone again. I understand this car is old however, I question why they didn't think to call Mercedes to inquire about this ABS module? And the brake situation is just shady in my opinion. If you need an HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY mechanic, please do yourself a favor and don't go here! read more

Useless ..Should be negative 5 stars .. My bill says they changed valves stems and balanced tires ... now car is shaking at 50 mph (not balanced) obtw, this destroys tires .. tpms valves not changed .. mechanic left my tire key locked in his toolbox for 2 days .. manager needs to be fired .. Shitty service they had me wait 2 out of 2 1/2 hrs being there and they did not do my alignment which they assured me would take 2 1/2 hrs they had the alignment bay opened for the last 1 hr before I decided to leave only to see a employee put his truck in and getting his alignment done while my truck waited 2 hrs with no service this store is a f--king disgrace read more

I saw so many bad reviews, that I had to take a moment to stick up for these folks. I have had two cars for ten years each, with lifetime alignments purchased on both of them. I have had these alignments performed flawlessly for 20 years without a problem. They never give me a hard time about not buying their tires either, which I get at Costco, and then go to them for the alignment. In fact, next set of tires, I will price at Costco, and give them a chance to match or beat the price. If they are within $50.00, I will give them the business, instead of Costco, because they have always been so good to me. read more

I've been twice and neither time were they able to do what I asked due to a wild amount of miscommunication. I don't recommend.

Worst experience with an auto repair in my life. My friend dropped of my car for me, and doesn't have the best in English... When he called me and told me the tech wanted to do an extra $850 in maintenance (plus the 100 for an oil change) I kindly said not at this time. He mentioned "we can fix the warm air from the AC" I said the AC is fine, and I didn't mentioned the Antifreeze was just added 2 months prior (I drive maybe 120 miles a week.) Of course I drive away, and the AC dies out. I called to complain how someone is trying to exploit their clients, and they offered me to stop by and discuss this. The tech Dixon was working on my car, it took 3 hours, and he did a good job changing the oil, yet vandalized my AC in the car so I'd have to go back. NEVER AGAIN. Jiffy Lube will be my go too, as they aren't trying to rob me left and right for unnecessary, or damages they inflicted. BBB will see this too. This use to be my go to location because of Firestones consistency with service repair and my time. I schedule an appointment for an oil change and basic vehicle inspection and once I arrived the rep let me know it would be an extra two hours for the inspection. I declined because I had things to do. 2 hours later I asked about an ETA for my car and I was told the rep was almost done inspecting my vehicle. I explained that I had declined the inspection because I couldn't wait that long. The rep told me he could have the tech stop the inspection and a half an hour later I got my car. Completely unacceptable. A car repair shop should have someone on hand to do inspections ALL the time. And the fact that I had to wait an additional 30 mins after letting them know I had to go is unacceptable. read more

Showed up a few minutes after 11 am (it was actually 11:04). I dropped off 2 vehicles, 1 of which only needed a window inspection, the other needed an entire diagnostics, oil change, etc. I called after 2 hours, was told that they hadn't even seen the car that needed the fixed window. Called again, another two hours, yet again hadn't seen the car yet. Finally, called 30 minutes after that and they said they just finished putting the car window back on and that it would cost $500 for it to be fixed. They said the motor regulator was damaged too badly for them to fix it. I told them that the panel now had damage that wasn't there, the panel wasn't fully on (WIRES HANGING OUT) and it's fucking obvious that the panel had been taken off because the clips/bolts had been moved and put back on without them being back aligned the way they were before. The technician, LOUIS, is the one who worked on the car and when I saw the damage, I spoke to the manager. Manager told me that they never touch the door panel, that all they did was press a button and determine that. He also said that Louis told him he didn't touch the door panel. First off, the door panel was clearly moved. Second, there is obvious damage done to the door panel that wasn't there before. Third, Why was I charged $57.25 for you to just push a button and tell me the problem? My car had not sat at this place for almost 5 hours, just for them to "push a button" (referring to the button on the door that rolls the window up and down). It's bullshit. Never coming back to this location again. Don't come here unless you want them to cause damage and then lie to your face and tell you they didn't. Don't come here unless you want them to charge you almost $60 just to push a god damn button. Oh! And instead of putting the window back up (so that my car doesn't get rain damage), they left the window inside the door. So now, I have to worry that the window glass will shatter anytime the door is closed and worry about rain damage. Thanks Firestone! read more

I have a company car and all the maintenance is covered by a fleet maintenance company. I drive 200 to 300 miles per day, so I'm in this Firestone every six weeks for regular maintenance. I've been coming here a little over a year. I've always had the feeling that since it's a fleet car they didn't think I'd care about what they did to the car. Several months ago, I asked to have the cabin air filter replaced while I was there for regular maintenance. When I picked up the car, the filter wasn't replaced, but I didn't mention it. At another appointment for regular maintenance, I asked them to replace the wiper blades. When I picked up the car, they had changed the entire wiper arms to fit the wiper blades they had. I was surprised that I never got a call to request doing this replacement. I didn't complain. I went in for regular maintenance again and asked for the cabin air filter to be replaced. This time I told them I wanted the filter replaced. I was told they don't stock that filter and the fleet maintenance company wouldn't pay for it. I was told to come back in a couple of weeks and maybe the fleet company would cover it. That was weird. I called the fleet maintenance company when I left and they told me they'd pay for the cabin filter and nobody from Firestone ever called to ask about it. I think it's strange that they wouldn't even mention to me that they didn't perform maintenance that was requested. Now I wonder if there is maintenance they haven't performed in the past and didn't tell me. I can't do business with a company I can't trust. read more

Our initial visit had some challenges but the manager Dave followed up with us and went well above what was required or expected to earn our business. I have been looking for a tire shop in South Florida that understands customer service and after my recent experience I am convinced that Dave and the Firestone brand truly desire to be that shop. Just called to see if I can schedule an oil change later on in the day, apparently anything after 1 "we might be busy so no" and also can't make appointments if it's the same day. Not "we're completely booked today sorry" you just make an assumption that you will be busy closer to closing so you can't book a 30 minute oil change? Okay thanks Felix. This place is ridiculous. Made an appointment for 12(Noon) for a simple alignment check. An at most 25 minute procedure. And I'm told it will take an hour and a half. 1 1/2 hours later I have to complain to get my car to even get touched. BS time estimates and BS work. read more

I brought my car in before leaving to drive back to NY. Dickson, Darius and Louis made sure my car was perfect and would get me there safe. It turned out my car needed a lot of work. They all stayed to finish the work so that I would be able to leave in the AM as planned. They all went above and beyond for me and that means a lot in this day and age! read more

I went here for a simple replace of front tires, and alignment. Guy calls me and says my wheels are on, that all they have to do now is put my vehicle on the alignment lift and I'm good to go. I wait 30 minutes before going, and when I arrive, my car was lifted high on the ground, with my hood open. Why does my vehicle need to be so high for replacing tires that they said were done anyway? And why is my hood open? I never asked for a courtesy check for a specific reason. When I came back later to collect the car, I was waiting inside for awhile why the person for the front desk was talking to some guy from a different job outside. Comes in later to cash me out, and at that point I was just ready to pay and leave. Tried to make conversation with me, makes me pay and sign that the service was not a problem, then after I've paid, and signed, he then gives me my keys. They broke my key fob, and waited till after I paid to give it to me. They tried to make it seem like it was nothing, the excuse was "he gripped it too hard" and "it's a Honda key". Unless that mechanic has hands and strength equivalent to hulk, then I don't understand how it can break. Tried to give it to me in a rubber band, as soon as I try cranking the car, it breaks on me. Luckily it started for me to get home, but with just the key part in the vehicle, the car will not start. This place is ridiculous, not professional at all. Called the manager, only for him to say "well it's plastic", that's not the point, the point is you guys broke it, making your responsibility while my vehicle was in your possession. It's not something easy to break, and they tried making it seem like it was my wrong. In a way I guess i was my wrong... for coming there in the first place. read more

"Started off on the wrong foot"... My company vehicle check engine light came on so I made an on-line appointment at the Greenacres Firestone location. The vehicle is covered under a fleet maintenance contract and Firestone is an authorized repair service. I dropped off the vehicle at 7am, and waited for them to call me. At 1:15pm I called Firestone and they had been waiting 2 hours for authorization to begin work! I asked why a Firestone associate did not call and inform me on the repair progress, or lack thereof. They stated that the fleet maintenance service was responsible for notifying me!?!? Hogwash!! I explained that I have never been contacted by the fleet maintenance company for any reason in over 5 years! (... with many routine upkeep and repairs performed over the course of those 5 years...) Communicating repair progress to the customer is the job of Firestone employees!!!! They assured me that my vehicle could be repaired as soon as permission was granted and the parts needed arrived. I returned two days later to see if the parts had arrived to repair the vehicle (they did get them), they then completed the "major-repair" immediately!!! What a turn of events. From zero to hero practically overnight. So in the end a special shout out to Keith for keeping his cool and coordinating a successful major vehicle repair. I have been taking my truck to Firestone at Boynton Bch. for years. We recently moved to Lake Worth, so I decided to try the Jog Rd. location in Lk. Worth. Took it in for a slow tire leak and decided to get my Lifetime Alignment and oil change done. I had also asked that they check the "4 wheel drive needs service" message. Work was completed in a timely fashion, however they never "located" the "4 wheel drive" service message. A couple days later, I got on the Turnpike and noticed a vibration that started at 65 mph and got worse as I went faster. Called them and they said to bring it in. No problem, I hope, as I cannot bring it in until next weekend. However, I also found that some CD's were missing from my center console. Obviously I cannot prove that they were taken, but I know they were there prior to my taking the truck there. Bummer. Note to self- remove CD's from now on!!! read more

Wish I could rate less then 1 star. Went here a few weeks ago for an alignment. Was told it would take an hour with appointment. Took 2 hours and that was not the worst of it. Counter person said my car did not have an adjustable suspension for rear camber so they could not do it. Said because it was lowered it needed a Camber kit, to align it. Brought car home researched it on website and guess what it does have an adjustable rear camber. I called the person back and he was rude stating that it what his mechanic told him. Then told me I could bring it back and they would try again but charge me if they could not align it. Horrible customer service. Instead of admitting they were wrong they have to treat customers like this. I filled out their online survey and was promised a call back. It never came. Says a lot about a company when they don't even follow through on their commitment. By the way was able to adjust camber myself. read more

horrible horrible horrible service i brought my car in yesterday for new tires and a realignment and an oil change i drove off the lot and my car was pulling to the right so much i called to come in the following day when they open letting them know i only had a hour and i'm here for an additional 2 hours ?!! also customer service is horrible they all just sit at the counter and look at you like your stupid . definitely don't recommend this place go across the street read more

Absolutely wonderful! My boyfriend and I own a transporting business and on our way to Orlando we caught a flat. We called firestone and Steve had us taken care of in minutes. We got to firestone and he already had our information up. And even though they were busy he had someone fix our tire quick. Thank you !!! read more

Be careful with these guys. I bought 4 new tires and they talked me into an alignment. A week later, one of the tires was flat, so I took it in and they told me I needed an alignment. So they either did not give me an alignment or they were trying to sell me something I don't need. They also said all my fluids were full but steering fluid was bone dry when I got an oil change with them... read more
