They advised that my corvette could not be lifted up and they would not be able to patch my tire. I drove to the Tire Choice location on Hypoluxo and they were fantastic. I set an appointment to fix a tire that had a screw in it. I arrived on time and was told the wait would be an hour, which was OK. After 75 minutes I went to check on progress. I was told another 15 minutes. At the two- hour mark, I was told that hadn't started work and they wouldn't get to my car. I cannot recall a worse customer service experience... ever! Stay away! Buyer beware.. You will be told your car needs things it doesn't actually need. They tried to get me to put on an entire new front and rear suspension on my explorer, as well as brakes. Hilariously also insisting I needed an entire new front sway bar (not the bushings, the BAR itself!) These were truly laughable claims as I do all my own car maintenance, sans internal engine and tire work. My story: I scheduled an appointment and took my car in for simple tire balancing, generally this service costs about $30. I verified they were 'balanced' as new wheel weights and adhesive on my rims were visible. I also asked for an alignment check as well, typically costs $20-40. They conveniently left off their cost for an alignment on the quote, I thought because it was just a check, there wouldn't be a charge. If you don't know about alignment checks, YouTube it to see how simple they really are. 45 minutes later the work was complete.. they tried to charge me over $150 for the alignment service. I disputed with the manager, Christopher, over this ridiculous charge. He and I worked out an off the books, cash app, price of $60 to cover the work done. Shops will typically offer this 'cash price' option so both parties can dodge Uncle Sam. I appreciated this and took the offer. However, if you aren't someone who "knows cars" you will get absolutely hosed by this place. It's really no more than your typical Florida quasi-mechanic scam shop. It's located right next to a Jiffy Lube, another shop nationally known as a scamming joint, so I really should have known better. read more

After around close to more than15 years of dealing with locations, 2 weeks ago I had them do an oil change and look at my air conditioner that went out after they took longer to fix it because even though they had the car, they didn't seem to know what freon it took and how to get the part they needed. Finally they said it was done. When they brought it out it would not stop giving an error message when shut off to shift into park, even though it was in park. They looked at it and couldn't figure out what was wrong. It is now so bad I have to have it towed to a dealership to see what they did wrong all the while having to rent a car again. I have made 2 attempts now to contact their customer service was told a regional manager would contact me, which must be some kind of joke. I can see why this location has gone downhill if the managers care so little. It's not worth the time or money spent if you have to take it somewhere else to have what they screwed up fixed. read more

I stopped by Tire Choice a couple of days ago and was very happy with what I saw and experienced. The person at the counter, Christopher, acknowledged that I was there, even though he was helping someone else at the time. It was a short wait, and well worth it. I informed him that I was primarily there for a true understanding of what the state of my tires was, because the car dealership was not adequately dealing with my tire pressure issues. He came out to my car with me, walked around and confirmed that I do need tires very soon, however, he also spotted a very small nail in one tire that the dealership never found. I noticed that there was a clean looking waiting area inside, separated from the showroom by a glass wall. I left there with a little peace of mind, armed with knowledge I did not previously have, and an estimate for new tires if I choose to go back there. There was no pressure to purchase, I will be spreading the word among my friends, and when my warranties expire on my tires, I will be heading there as well! read more

Cliche but if I could give 0 stars I would. They are absolute thieves. I took my car there because I knew there was a problem with my muffler. I also asked for them to look at my AC. They charged me nearly $300 just to 'diagnose' the problem and then couldn't even find the part to fix it. And then I took it to my mechanic friend and he said the part that they said they needed wasn't even the correct part and that they could have fixed it by welding. I will never go back to this shop ever again. I will never go back to ANY tire choice shop ever again. I will definitely be back here for any tire issues I have! I noticed a screw stuck in my tire at work one day. I didn't want to pull it out in fear of the tire deflating. I stopped by a few other tire store and everywhere was packed. I finally found this little gem on Yelp and stopped in. They weren't busy at all. The guy at the front desk was super courteous and helpful. The team pulled my car in right away and inspected it. Turns out the screw didn't puncture and he came back into the store letting me know and wishing me a good day. They didn't even charge me for it. Talk about impressive customer service. It's tough to make the right choices when emergencies happen. I went in to get my tired looked at since air kept coming out. Turns out the tire was not repairable. So I had to select two new tires and get an alignment. Over $400 later, after driving the car for a few weeks, I feel much safer. From time of arrival to completion, it took less than an hour. Had an appointment for tires, balance and alignment. I left for about 30 minutes and came back and saw the car was done. Now, I know that an alignment takes close to an hour so I asked how the car was completed so quickly. One of the counter people checked with the tech that worked on the car and came back to tell me the alignment machine wasn't working so it was never done. So I asked to have that money deducted from the bill. Which they did. But then the other counter person who was taking my credit card told me the price which of course included the alignment so I had to remind him that it wasn't done. I thought the price for what they did do was quite reasonable but I have no doubt that had I not waited and come back a few hours later I would have been charged for the work that was never done. I'm not accusing anyone of being dishonest just that the tech should have mentioned it right away so that a corrected invoice was issued. It's not up to the customer to question whether work was done if they're willing to pay for it. read more

I had a timing belt done here on my old car - a '99 Toyota Camry. They went out of their way to find a part for my old car that had somehow chipped off. I was mobile again - yay! In a couple of months the car stopped again and I had it towed there. They diagnosed an oil pump issue. The original work on the timing belt included a water pump. When the oil pump issue came up it was again going to be an expensive repair. I decided to let the car go as it was high mileage. I mistook the water pump with the oil pump and put in a negative review because I thought they should have done them both at the same time. Turns out they did. It was the oil pump on the second go round that proved problematical. I just wanted to set the record straight. They are competent and professional at this location and I appreciate all they did and tried to do for my old Camry! read more

My car was damaged at their facility and they are refusing to take responsibility and get my car fixed. The man who inspected my car prior the job, Pasquale, even told the rest of the staff that the scratch in question was not there prior to them doing work on my car and they still refuse to fix it. The scratch is deep and goes down to the metal so it will cost a lot to repair this. Only after I left (after Laurent and Bobby were extremely rude to me, walking away mid-conversation and coming up with every excuse as to why they are not responsible) did I get a phone call saying that Pasquale did agree with me. But they said the mechanic said he followed "protocol" and put a mat down before pushing my rim in and out of my trunk so they are taking his word for it instead of the man who actually INSPECTED my car prior to the mechanic touching it. They said all they will do is refund my money for the service, still didn't offer to repair my vehicle. I filed a claim on BBB and will also be reaching out to their corporate office. read more

Unfortunately there has been a change in management and the store has become very disorganized. All I needed was 2 tires put on and an oil change. They ordered the tires, I went back and sat in waiting room for an hour. I came out and he said there was a "shipping problem" and the tires weren't in. Mind you I waited an hour and he never came into waiting room to tell me. I went back and a different guy said oh the tires were here, they just never looked in the right spot. So he told me it would take an hour. I went back 90 minutes later and my car was still sitting in the parking lot. I just dont understand why they could not call and advise me there was a delay. Expecting some add-on charges for balancing, TPMS stems, taxes, fees etc. I was surprised to see the total at over $245. The associate insisted that the price was $98 per tire and that I should show him where I saw it online. Not having a printout nor the time to argue I cancelled my appointment before any service was done. For that price I can search for a more competent store and get a better quality tire. read more

I'm very unhappy with you guys. Ive been waiting since Tuesday Morning to hear back from you about my car that a mechanic messed up on last Saturday by putting way too much oil in. All i came in for was an oil change and i needed two front tires. Tuesday moring I was going for an interview and my car started acting funny so I got off I-95 to see what was wrong. I saw there was oil in my car but I didn't know what was going on. I thought the smart thing to do is call a tow truck and send it to a near by tire choice (Fort Lauderdale) . They was hesitant to even tell me that you guys messed up my car. Knieing mist most people they would of flipped out but I was being really nice about but now you guys are going too far.You owe me a new engine and I rental car I shouldn't have to wait this long for something you guys did. And the Manager at the Boynton Beach act like this isn't urgent. At 4pm yesterday he just realized he filled out the wrong form to start the claim. I had to call him to ask whats going on for him to realize that. The manager is the one that should keep me updated. I have no claim number or anything. Discovered a partially deflated tire while on Congress Ave so I went to the closest tire shop. Tire Choice is next to Jiffy Lube at Boynton Beach Blvd where I usually go for oil changes so I decided to try them. This is a terrific repair shop!! They special ordered a Uniroyal tire so it would exactly match the set I already have and it arrived the next day. They put my spare on for free because I was coming back. They mounted the new tire on the rim before I got there to save time. The store manager Annie made sure my tire pressure detection system was properly reset which no one has ever done since I got the car. Their prices are very reasonable and competitive and I got a special deal on an alignment which my car really needed. Everything was done superfast and very professionally. This is a terrific tire shop. (PS - I read the previous reviews and I had an opposite experience to what they described. Store Manager Annie is very competent and honest.) read more

If I could give negative stars I would. What started out as a pleasant experience ended with Paul the technician throwing a nasty look at my husband. We went in and were told by Abraham there was about a two hour wait, so we left and ran some errands. Came back dropped the car off went to get a bite to eat, and when we got back they were just grabbing our car. There was no seating inside as the place was very busy. So, we went and sat outside. Watched Paul take our car back, put it up on the lift take a quick look at the tire, and then walked away from the car. We watched for 20 minutes as he looked through a tool box and stood around doing nothing. My husband went inside to ask if they were planning on doing anything with the car. Abraham and Paul both got an attitude with my husband about the tire couldn't just be plugged or patched it was trash. Okay, so after seeing that the tire needed replaced why wouldn't your employee go inside and let you know. I mean it would have taken two seconds. I would have said replace the tire and get us back on the road. However, that isn't what happened my car was left on a lift, Abraham had to go back in the shop and find out what was going on. Paul drives the car out and when handing my keys back to my husband threw him a death stare. Really professional. I am glad we have only had one other tire repaired there, because if that is the type of employee and behavior you allow my money will be better spent elsewhere. We will not be back and will be sure to tell everyone just how terrible your customer service is. If Paul was my employee he would have been reprimanded, but given how he so easily used such a disgusting attitude with us I imagine he does it all the time with no repercussion. read more

I called this evening to get a quote on the installation fees of tires i saw on their website online. The man i spoke with couldnt seem to tell me what the installaion fees would be or understand what i was asking. After three seperate tries of trying to re-explain my objective he told me "it wasnt that simple". They have all these extra fees, i.e. gps mounting, and such. This man already knew my car is a 2001 so that should have been an indication that i didnt have GPS technology. I told him that i have called several other companies and was able to get quotes of the price for 4 tires, installation, fees and taxes and asked once again if it was possible to simply get that kind of quote. He told me "to hang on, he got this and to calm down". Now if i had raised my voice or been nasty i could understand that comment but that was not the case. Calling for a tire quote does not make me emotional :) So i simply thanked him for his time and hung up. This seems like TERRIBLE customer service for basic questions about tire installation for a tire company. Im hoping it isnt because i am a woman. This person doesnt instil very much confidence in this company and might need more training. read more
