Our car broke down (lots of smoke from engine) on I 95 during rush hour one Monday afternoon, near to Delray Beach. We were headed for the Miami Airport. We live in Canada. We called AAA to be told they could come in 2 1/2 hrs and there we were on the shoulder of I 95, terrified. I called Jiffy Lube on Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach. The technician, Yogee, said they could not tow us but he would come and bring coolant. 20 mins later, there he was, in his personal car, with a big jug of coolant. He said it looked as though there was a leak in the radiator but at least now I could drive it to Jiffy Lube, where before, I could not move the car. The mechanic at Jiffy Lube looked at the car and decided we needed a new radiator. The staff at Jiffy Lube were fantastic and said they would look after our car and all its contents for the 12 days that we were to be in Barbados. We re-packed our bags for our trip in the parking lot of Jiffy Lube. Yogee then got Adriel (another technician) to drive us to the hotel near Miami airport. Adriel is also amazing and was a delightful man. He even picked us up on our return and drove us back to Jiffy Lube to pick up our car 12 days later. Yogee is so special and emailed me throughout the trip to reassure me that our baby was fine! Buck, the manager was also a delight. This is a great store and I cannot say enough good thigs about the service, the manner and how safe we both felt leaving our car in their hands. Extremely slow!! Here nearly an hour before even starting service! Only 2 other cars were in front of me. 2 hours for regular maintenance is insane. Go to another location if you don't want to have to cancel your lunch plans while waiting to get your oil changed. So much for 15 minute service. read more

Jiffy Lube on Atlantic Ave. Jiffy Lube got a bad rep from that person who bashed them 2 weeks ago..I was hesitant about going because of the bad review, but went anyway..It was the best oil change experience of my life.. I was greeted by a really nice guy named Derek who told me to stay in my car while I get the oil changed because of the pandemic.. Since you have to stay in your car with it off, they put this big hose in your window with air conditioning.. soo cool ( literally).. the service was pristine by my guy Jay... Derek came by to make sure everything was good.. I interacted with 3 great guys Derek, Jay and David that made my oil service very pleasant.. no one pressured me into getting anything I didn't need.. Usually the service here is great, but I had a brake light out and they replaced it. After driving away I heard something banging on the side of my car. They had replaced the bulb, but they never put the screws back in to secure the lighting assembly. So my entire brake light assembly was just hanging by a few wires and banging against my car. Long story short, this was 2 1/2 months ago. My brake assembly now will not work at all. I've called corporate Jiffy Lube as well as the store customer service line. While I was waiting other customers were using coupons too, so it is the norm. They surely try to upsell you, there's a "service advisor" who's job is focused on upselling. Bring in for a simple oil change. I knew I was taking a short road trip and it was near time for an oil change. I requested and paid for synthetic oil. Not, read on. Twice they bring me parts to show why the inside cabin filter needs to be replaced. The cabin air filter they showed me was not from my car! Said no. Drive the car about 200 miles and the oil completely leaked out. They did not put the oil pan plug in correctly and confirmed it was not synthetic oil and not even the correct oil weight recommended for my car. If they thought I was a dumb blond easy mark, they tried to take advantage of the wrong lady. I did get my money back since I had an expert review. The towing was covered under my insurance. But this kind of error can kill the engine. read more
