Dishonest and fraudulent!! We brought our car here for a tire repair for a slow leak from a nail we found in the tire. They took it behind the garage to inspect the tire to see if it could be repaired and were told we had two nails. When we went back to look. They showed us a fast leak along edge of tire but there was no nail. We had inspected the tires before bringing it there, we would have noticed this second leak and our tire would have been flat. It was obvious that they had intentionally damaged the tire to sell us a new set. We should have read the reviews before coming here. read more

One of the employees who worked on my car opened my own car items that were unopened in my car. He violated my things by going through them. I called the shop to mention I almost couldn't return those items because the mechanic opened it without my permission and covered it up. They didn't do anything just had a "talk" with him. On top of that, I had to go BACK because they didn't fix my issue and other Firestone's won't see you without charging again. They said 30 minutes and took almost 3 hours. Wasted my day. On top of THAT the mechanic screamed at the front desk person for allowing me being checked in for just my lights which they didn't even fix. DISRESPECTFUL. UNPROFESSIONAL. This place is a scam. I left my car here for an estimate on break service, and they quoted me $1,050, which was hundreds more than what my dealership charges. When I said no, they applied an online coupon for $80 off. When I said no again, they offered to take off a couple hundred dollars. When I came to pick up my car, they still charged me $10 for an "inspection fee" which they never told me about when I dropped off my car. First and last time at a Firestone. If I could leave zero star rating, I would the manager is the biggest piece of shit in the world. He sits there in lies all the time... he refuses to Weigh My Truck saying it is too big. He even wants said it was a dually truck. And I completely came back and said where are the two tires are missing. Today it was a different story telling me the truck was too long that it will not fit on her alignment machine and when I said, how can the store down the street from you do it when they have the same exact machine. Beware of taking your car to Firestone at 110 NE 8th street. I brought my car in for a ROUTINE oil change on 4/3/19. In addition to the oil change, they tried to sell me tires for 1200+ (didn't buy), said I need a new oil filter (which I changed), and recommended a car care package, which included a tire rotation (which I opted to do, but they didn't rotate my tires claiming they were all worn equally). The next time I drove my car, to work, it began to overheat, they didn't replace the coolant cap properly, I took pictures and videos of what was happening and since they were already closed I could do anything but replace the coolant, fix the cap, and head there in the morning when they opened. Driving there in the morning, my car continued to overheat, the check engine light came on, and when I arrived there, the car was smoking. When I arrived to Firestone, I showed the service guy Robert the videos and pictures. He stated they did nothing wrong but will evaluate the car and get back to me. They stated I need a heater hose assembly for $906 and a coolant flush for $88. I decided to call corporate to file a complaint as this issue happened the next time I drove my vehicle AFTER bringing it to them for a routine oil change. I spoke with Angela in customer service who was helpful and shocked about what I was going through from the store. She said the store can rent me a vehicle and she will contact the regional manager to rectify the issue. I received a call from the store manager Alvaro, who again stated they are not at fault and they will not rent me a vehicle! I explained I wanted to speak to the regional manager. I received a call from a rude Ernel Recino who stated "since I'm claiming they broke my vehicle he will file a claim." He informed me about the process, asked me if I understood, and hung up. He isn't very customer friendly. On 4/10 I received an email from a claims specialist Chet inquiring about the sequence of events surrounding my situation with Firestone. I replied to him that same day. And then there was silence. I sent 6 emails, made 11 phone calls to the store, customer service, claims specialist, claims supervisor David Verde, and filed 1 complaint with the better business bureau before anyone would get back to me. On 4/29/19, I was contacted by David Verde, claims supervisor, who authorized me a rental vehicle, agreed to pay for my previous rental, and assigned a new claims specialist, John Tumey, to my case. I touched base with John v/ email to request to be updated about the status of the claim. David said I should be present during the inspection. Additionally, my car has been at Firestone since 4/5/19. I heard nothing all week and on 5/6/19 I emailed John and David asking for an update. I received an email hours later, at 230pm, by John stating the inspector went to evaluate my vehicle that morning. No one notified me about this. I was not present during this inspection. No one even bothered to email me back about anything. On 5/7/19 I called the store and no one was available to speak with me, Robert gone for the day, new manager out of the office. On 5/8/19, I spoke with the new manager, Frank, who said "it looks like its not our fault, but well have to wait for the final report." On 5/13/19 I emailed John and David requesting an update, they extended the rental vehicle (still no word on the reimbursement on my first rental) and stated they are waiting for the inspection report. On 5/15/19 I received an email from John the inspection found Firestone not at fault and they are ending my rental vehicle. I appealed the decision that same day and was informed Firestone will reply in 7 days to my appeal. On 5/24/19 I heard NOTHING so I emailed John Tumey and his response was he will "try to help me after the weekend." On 5/28/19 I emailed, called, nothing. I finally called corporate to see what was going to happen and we left voicemails with the customer service representative. David Verde emailed me back around 630pm standing firm on the denial decision. NO RESPONSE to if the inspector had any access to my pictures or videos, NO RESPONSE to the request for reimbursement on my rental vehicle he stated he would pay for. Nothing! Firestone on NE 8th street is clueless about how to even do a simple oil change without ruining your vehicle. They left a coolant cap open causing the coolant to spill out and my car to overheat. They claim an "oil change, complete vehicle inspection, rotation, battery and tire performance checks, and air filter replacement quality services with no workmanship deficiencies" yet I had a hose that was dry rotted and separated but I was not notified about this? Additionally, my tires were not rotated!!! Firestone still has my vehicle. It is not driveable. And they refuse to correct an issue they caused by not properly replacing the cap for the coolant causing it to leak out and my vehicle to overheat. BEWARE! read more

This is probably the poorest managed Firestone store I've ever visited. I'm done with this location. They do not honor appointments and today was no exception. I showed up ten minutes early for a 1:00 pm appointment. They said I'm the next car in, just a few minute wait. We watch as an employee brings in takeout lunch for several employees and we watch as they have a leisurely lunch in the managers office. We also watch as other cars go into a bay ahead of us and employees come out to help other drive in's. At the one hour mark, we're told that there was now another car in front of us and it would be at least 30 more minutes before they could start. We left in frustration. This has to be a corporate owned store as no franchisee could make it with what we have witnessed over many visits. There is no business like atmosphere here, just one of employees goofing off. read more

Great and friendly staff. They really show that they have the best interest in the customer. Always giving the best recommendations for your car from priority to least concern. No sharks here don't have to worry about them offering you extra services that are not needed to complete the job. I had an issue with my car that turned out to be worst than expected and I had no problems in holding my car there until I was able to have a tow truck come and pick it up. Only because the service that was needed firestone does not do. The best guy to see is Raul he is the one that usually picks up the phone when i call and the person I usually deal with when I arrive. He is very informative and knows his stuff. The rest of the staff is friendly especially the dude with the cool glasses that convinced me to buy four new tires lol appreciate it. I have been doing business with the company for years. This last year there service has gone downhill. I took my car in yesterday for an alignment and when I came out I noticed the front bumper was damaged. I spoke with who I thought was the manager, Christian, but it turned out he was not the manager. He stated there was no way that they could have damaged my car and told me to come back Monday to see the store manager. I did just that, met Frank, and again was told there was no way they could have damaged the bumper. He claimed that it looked as if the car scraped a wall and that there were no walls from the parking lot to where they put the car for alignment. I looked at him like he was crazy and told him the whole building was a wall and posts. They refused to take any accountability for this. The only recommendation I have is to fire everyone and start over!! read more

Waited almost 3 hrs for them to change the battery on my '16 Dodge. I was told an hr max. I understand that the battery for my vehicle is difficult to get to (have to remove the front tire), but at least try to get the vehicle in the back within the hr that you told me. Had to leave to pick up my daughter from school. Came back and they took the vehicle back in less than 15 minutes, HOWEVER, 1 hr later and still waiting. The first day I went they told me that it was and hours and a half wait, that I'll better if I do an appointment for next day at 8:00am and that I will be the first to go, they said. Next day I went and I saw line of 12 people at 8:00am. So I went and confirm my appointment and they told me again that it was a 1 1/2 wait again! That all of them had an appointment at 8:00am. My problem is, if you only 4 employees why the do you make appointment for 12 costumer at the same time? This is lack of respect for customer time! read more

Took my 2012 Scion xB to see if my radiator cooling fans could be fixed. Unfortunately the fans had to be replaced. I asked them if I could order the new fans on my own from AutoZone and have them install it. I could have gotten a complete radiator cooling fan assembly at Autozone for around $200. But Firestone told me that I had to order the fans directly from them. Firestone charged me $360!!! In addition, they could not get the assembly on the same day. I would have to wait until the next day for the fan assembly to arrive. So I had to come back 3 days later when I had my next day off. I arrived when the shop just opened up that day. The repairs took 4 hours to complete and I was charged over $1,200 for the parts and labor. Classic ripoff from a national chain if you asked me. Really got taken to the cleaners at this place. Do not go to Firestone if you need major repairs done on your vehicle unless you are willing to shell out a lot of money. I will never go back to this place for repair work again! read more

Had a screw in my tire. Brought it in for repair and was done in no time and at a reasonable price. They put the tire back on and I was on my way in no time. The salesperson, Juan was very helpful and made me feel welcomed. Would definitely recommend this Tire shop in the future. read more

I think the service is good. I went in to change a flat tire and the mechanics were very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining what needed to be done. However the customer service really needs better work. This guy named Carlos is immediately very unwelcoming and unable to properly speak to people. He also makes mistakes and almost charged me for a different persons bill which was much more expensive than mine. read more

Well I called ahead and was told there was no wait for an oil change by Ernesto . I was about 5 minutes from there so I continued on my way . One person was leaving there car when I walked in , Ernesto told me there was now one car ahead of mine so it would be a few minutes before they started on my vehicle . I loaded up my two small children and walked to get them some lunch , after we finished i noticed my car still hadn't moved so we continued on to a nearby store to pass the time . Nearly TWO HOURS Later they still have had not started my oil change or tire repair . So my recommendation is only Come here if you have all day long to spend here and enjoy being lied to , otherwise steer clear . We had a previous warranty on the old tires and when we brought that up to employee, Bill, he proceeded to give attitude and complain that he wold have to "rewrite the bill...locate the original tires...and that it would take half an hour." I'm sorry, Bill, and anyone else at Firestone who has excess money to throw away, but a $50 refund is not pocket change to me.
