This was my third experience going to this Firestone and it has the best quality and customer service I have seen since I have been here. I was hesitant with taking a high end SUV and vehicle to Firestone since we are near major dealers. The staff advisors always address me by my name due to my scheduled appointment upon arrival. Never had an issue with the maintenance of my vehicle and they will call you when it's time to pick up your vehicle. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the maintenance and don't let a female fool you because she knows her stuff about vehicle maintenance as well. If you are relocating here to the Redstone Arsenal area and worried about maintenance about your vehicle and don't want to spend dealer price, I recommend this Firestone. I know on post is usually overbooked and I am glad to have my vehicles serviced here. I am glad that I received the lifetime tire alignment and they always recommend when getting an oil change to rotate the tires to get maximum use of your tires. Customer service was HORRIBLE at the location on Old Monrovia Road in Huntsville, AL!! I called this morning and made an appointment with Josh. I guess Josh failed to lock It in the system. Well, when I got there, the older guy at the front desk (guess Josh had left for the day) was rude like. "Are sure are you are in you a the right place??" I told him, "Yes, I have been doing to this location for years." So he says, who did you talk to? Josh? I said yes. He went on to say all he had to do was go the next step and lock it in. You don't have an appointment. But he did fix it and wanted to work me in. I just left because I was done with his rudeness and smart comments. Was told that the AC system had to be replaced due to a faulty compressor and also had a leaking transmission oil cooler. Price seemed reasonable. When I picked up the car I noticed that several fasteners were missing around the the radiator. When I pointed it out, the mechanic claimed that they were missing before he started. The car had never been worked on in this area and I would have noticed before. I believe that they were left out due to poor part alignment because the holes no longer line up. Came for freon and got more help from the people in the parking lot then the staff he just told me to YouTube it The guy didn't even come outside and look at my vehicle I love auto zone but this was my first time at this location and I'll never be back. I see why they have the lowest rating in the city and I didn't catch the guys name but he was at the front desk wearing a grey button up probably some cocky manager. Standard auto repair shop. I went in with a nail in the tire in an inopportune place and had to have all four tires replaced. The shop had two of the tires on hand and ordered two more that were put on later in the week. They didn't carry many options for me but i drive a slightly unusual car. DO NOT VISIT THIS STORE! They always promise you a time for your repair/service but never keep their promises. I had booked an appointment a week ahead to counter this issue, and they pushed other car in front of my appointment. I discover that after couple of hours! The customer service is always trying to sweet talk instead of accepting their fault. They always have excuses why they are always behind. If I could give negative stars for a review I would. This place deserves a negative 10. Worst experience I've ever had with a business. Ordered a particular brand and model tire for my car, was charged the price (which I must say was high but the tires were well rated). Went to my appointment and waited over five hours. It only took about an hour for my tires to be installed but I kept getting put behind other people who came in and apparently talked their way to the head of the service line. When my vehicle was finally ready, low and behold, the tires I had paid for were NOT the tires installed. A cheaper model of the same brand was substituted. And the guy at the desk had the nerve to tell me I hadn't ordered or paid for the ones I asked for! I luckily had my order but after another hour of arguing with him and the manager of the business I left with the tires they choose to give me. They basically told me I was a girl who didn't know anything and should leave tires to the experts and that I'd actually gotten better tires than I'd paid for! Now I design and build rocket motors for a living. I helped my dad maintain all our cars (including rebuilding engines) and working on all the parts of a car, from tires to brakes to struts...well you get the picture. I know my way around a car. I was furious!!! I called Firestone directly and they gave me the run around but at least pretended to be sorry I was upset. Long and short of it, the company has forever lost me as a customer, my family, a number of friends and coworkers as well. Lots of them rely on my experience with autos and companies that deal with them for their potential business. Based on my experiences, and the loss of around 200 customers or potential customers, I wonder if scamming me was really worth it to them? If I were you, I'd avoid them at all costs. read more

They've done work on my Toyota and my BMW and always had parts available. After puncturing a tire on a nail, I was quoted over $100 to replace the tire here, but when they checked the flat they said they could patch it. The patch cost $20, but once I arrived home the patch had already come loose, so I drove it back and they replaced the patch free of charge. All round I feel they delivered good service. They didn't complain at all or act as if I had put them out. I was very happy with this level of professionalism after bad experiences at a location on north Memorial. Horrible! I brought my car in for a simple brake inspection. Brian told me it would take 45-minutes for them to get my car back. Two hours later Brian told me it would be another hour. Every time I saw the technicians they were leaning against the car bay pillar smoking. After 4.5-hours I demanded my key back. When I told the manager what had happened Brian denied ever saying it would take 45-mins to get my back. He was smirking like it was no big deal. If you don't have the integrity and work ethic to follow through with what you initially said, I don't trust your opinion on my car! Shame on you!
