As a driver for a local wrecker service I deal with these folks on a near weekly basis, and every time I'm there, without fail I'm greeted by an associate with a smile! They have also done work on my sister-in-laws car and according to her, the head mechanic Rex is both knowledgeable and helpful beyond just the repair. he walked her though what had happened to the car, how he fixed it, and how she could prevent it from happening again. she also mentioned that Austin and Eric in the front office kept her informed and updated through every phase of the repair. 10/10 would recommend these guys to anyone! read more

I'm down-grading further a recent "2 star" review to a "1 star" review. I'd go to a "Zero" but that's not an option given. Very bad service was further scored lower with more errors found and lack of attention to detail. After driving the vehicle home, it was discovered that all 4 tires (having been rotated/balanced) were an average of 12 psi low. My car alerted me to the issue, and I verified by digital pressure gauge. Also, the "oil life" reset was not done therefore it was still showing the need for an oil change (which was supposedly done). On top of all these issues, the small "SERVICE STICKER" in the windshield was the old one from last year; not replaced. I was the first in line this morning to have all these other issues resolved/corrected. Apparently, they have one capable Tech who corrected these other issues in minutes. Not even a "sorry" or apology received from the Management. Just excuses and silence. Never, never, never use this operation for anything. read more

On the morning of an out-of-state vacation, we found one of our vehicle's tires low. We went to two closer tire dealers who said they didn't have the time. I called Goodyear since we had bought the tires from them. I spoke with Jared who said that they could fit us in. Thirty minutes later, they had fixed the the tire (which had a 5 inch nail in it) at no charge since I had road hazard protection. The crew led by Jared were professional, kind and very accommodating. I can't thank them enough! They have earned my continued patronage. Thanks again!!! read more

Had a appointment at 11:30 at 1:30 they brought my car into the garage. Asked for full synthetic and they did the synthetic blend. They don't send information to carfax like express oil change does. This is two times in a year they haven't followed instructions. This long time Customer will not be back. read more

I scheduled an appointment 12/22/24 for 9am appointment the following day..I got there and was told I couldn't be fit in because it would be hours for a simple ass oil change.i got walmart.they got me in and out...I drive back by Midas hour later on drake avenue and not one single customer there ..don't waste my time setting appointment and lying to me day of my appointment...Good way to lose repeat customer..by the way I will get my oil changed at Walmart for now on .....thanks Midas for wasting time to make a wasted appointment read more

The negative reviews of this service shop disappoints me, because this is one of only a handful of places I trust. For those complaining about cars being towed, I question whether they actually had appointments or had spoken with staff beforehand. The shop is downtown in a busy area with limited parking. They have a tiny lot and have to dissuade people from using their lot just for a night on the town. The staff here has never steered me wrong. They are a little pricier than some places where you get what you pay for, but it's worth it. They never try to sell me something I don't need, they get the job done well, and they are honest and straightforward with me. read more

Ordered a tire on a Friday and a week later and several missed appointments they tell me the tire isn't there, they don't know if they'd get it, they think fedex is to blame. They referred me to corporate to try and get my money back. Thanks....for literally nothing. Getting them to answer the phone or keep us informed was way beyond their level of non-existent service. I was a customer of Goodyear on Clinton and although they were expensive, they were convenient. I brought my car in Sunday night at 11pm and dropped it off with a flat tire and went by at 930 the next am and it had been towed. They would not pay for the towing but gave me $25 off my towing bill. I had to go to the towing place and find an air compressor to pump up my tire. Goodbye Goodyear. read more

Went in for a simple tire repair and oil change. I was the first person in the door with a 7:30am appointment. Something that should've taken no more than 30 min, took 2 hours. On the oil change, they didn't have an oil filter in stock. Then, I neglected to check behind them afterwards (even though you shouldn't have to), and I realized later that day that they didn't put my radiator coolant reservoir cap back on. I called about it, and they denied even checking my coolant, but I knew they had, because it was filled over the max level. They said they'd order me a new one, but I never heard back from them, and I ended up having to order one myself. At first, they seemed like they'd be pretty thorough, making sure to put the right oil in the vehicle, even calling Nissan to verify the oil type, but they dropped the ball in so many other areas, I'd probably not recommend using them, at least, not for anything other than tire repair. read more

Unfortunately Goodyear refuses to finish the job on repairing/replacing a flat tire. They repaired the tire but would not put the spare tire back in it's spot. They complained about dog hair in the car to do so and yes we do have dogs, but it was not bad, and they do not have to touch the dog hair to access the nut to replace the tire. They just wanted an excuse. We will never use this shop again, even though they used to be our primary shop, because I wouldn't trust people who don't like servicing their customers and who don't complete their jobs, but look for excuses. By the way, I took the car to Walmart and had NO ISSUE getting the spare put back. read more

I could of gone to a place one min from my house , that promises 10min service but it would of cost me double the price . I have never been as satisfied with an auto repair shop as I am with Goodyear on Clinton in downtown Huntsville. I have been going there for tire and auto service for most of my 17 years in Huntsville. Eric and the staff are friendly, efficient, and clear about what the vehicle does and does not need and always make the extra effort to keep the customer satisfied. It's no wonder so many of us return year after year for tires and mechanical services. For a recent repair, they needed to keep my car overnight. When no car rental places were willing to pick me up downtown (even the one that advertises "We'll pick you up!"), Eric finished up what he was doing at the time and drove me to a car rental location and waited with me until he was sure I had a vehicle. When I get my car repaired at Goodyear on Clinton, I am able to leave with confidence that my problem has been expertly and dependably fixed. They get my highest recommendation. read more
