To start off with, they are super rude. I called to set up getting my truck to them to put 4 new tires on, and the guy on the phone was the rudest person I have spoken to in a long time. Hateful, short, tone of voice said, why are you here? I am doing you a favor, not doing work. Took 2 days to even get to me, didn't call and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. Had to call over and over and over. They closed before I ever got a hold of anyone and didn't bother to tell me they were not going to be able to finish on Friday. They charged me 168.00 to install 4 tires, they didn't reset my sensors, they didn't put the same amount of air in any of the tires. It appears they just put enough to get me out of the parking lot. When I went to work Monday, I heard a slapping noise on the passenger side. While it was at their shop my emblem on the passenger side was removed and the a-piller was pulled out. They did over $2k in damage to my truck and didn't even complete the job. read more

Ron explained that they were not BUT he gave me recommendations on 2 businesses that he was aware of that were certified and even looked up the phone numbers and supplied them to me. Went to get basic tire checked for slow leak at 7 am was told they were 50 cars ahead of me. Guy said they wouldn't have time to squeeze me in. Show room had 2 people inside and parking lot empty. You may need to schedule weeks in advance for any work but there are a lot better tire shops out there. read more

I have the "Lifetime" wheel alignment service for my Lexus 460, as I've had with several prior vehicles with Firestone and now that I want/need it done it can't be scheduled and/or performed in a timely fashion (more than a week out) due to the technician that is trained for my type of car I'm told, is unavailable for time off work (at the height of traveling season -Thanksgiving wee). My question is, why only one tech is trained to perform a service for my car at a place of business that specializes in wheels/tires and offers such services?! To top that off, the person answering my call could't/didn't even recommend another location or offer to give the phone number of one. read more

I scheduled an appointment for 7 am for a simple brake service. I arrived early, dropped my car off, and left. Over 8 hours later and I still didn't have any communication from them on the status of my car. I finally called them and was told my car hasn't even been inspected yet and probably won't be looked at until the next day. It absolutely shouldn't take 2 days to change brakes. Terrible communication and terrible speed of service. If you want your car serviced in a timely manner then I definitely recommend you go elsewhere. read more

Ive been unable to get corporate or this store to help resolve my issues. Many times no one can answer my questions. The turnover seems high which in turn leads to no accountability. Always heard Firestone was unsafe but didn't know their customer service was the worst. They left me to change my own trailer tire next and said I had to pull next to their dumpster with a flat tire and told me I had to do it there because they refused to help. They don't care about people and don't even follow their own policies. I pulled in with a low tire on my small covered trailer. Brenna told me I could use their jack and tire iron and take off the tire and they'd patch it because the bays were full. By this time my tire had completely deflated. After going to the garage they said they didn't have a tire iron but did have a wrench and socket, I was then told told by Brenna actually I can't use that and I'd have to pull my completely flat trailer up to the bay where they could use a an air wrench. I explained to her that it would likely destroy the tire and possibly damage my rim. Why they couldn't come out and use a Jack and wrench instead of me as to not damage something I don't know. But no, I'd have to pull there. So I did. The tire was ruined beyond repair. They said they don't have any in stock, so I said I have no choice but to go pick up a tire somewhere else and put it on my trailer. Now the total BS began. They said in no way would they help me in just tightening the lug nuts on the wheel when I got back. It's "their policy" that they will not put a tire on unless it's brand new. I mentioned they just took off my used tire and was going to put it back on, so what's the difference? I said l could I go get the tire replaced, put it on the trailer and have them take it off, inspect and put back on if we had to, which is completely within their policy. Also willing to pay for it as I had no Jack or tire iron. They said absolutely they would not be helping me out in anyway as much as tightening my lugs for me. Absolute pricks that don't care about people. Ok then, I said I'd have to pull into the parking lot and unhook from my small covered trailer then and go pick up a tire replacement and do it all myself since they were unwilling to help. They said ok. I also said I'd like to put my other spare which does not hold air with a rim split on the trailer so I could take the good rim and get a new tire. They were willing to put another tire that's busted on my trailer, but refused to put a good one on or even tighten lugs for me. Complete hypocrisy. We just filled the newly busted tire that was leaking bad and I pulled into the parking lot only to have Brenna come out and instigate their unhelpful attitude even farther and say "oh you know what, I'm going to call my manager about you parking in the parking lot." Again my tire deflates and I'm too far away to get any air. After she agreed I could pull into the parking lot she tells me I have to pull over by the dumpster which is on uneven ground and you have to stick out in the road to park there and change it myself. They have more than 6 parking spots and did the whole time I was there but just to spit in my eye, they can't allow me to park for an hour to help me in being stranded. So on a incline with a completely loaded trailer 3 hours from my home I had to change the tire myself in front the dumpster of the tire shop. Again they didn't care if I'd damage my rim in driving on a flat. Thank God it didn't slip off the Jack. I unhooked, bought a Jack and iron, took off the tire, went got a replacement and put back on as if I was on the side of the road. I also had to back my truck up the trailer and hitch it on an incline by myself. With the incline change the trailer would not lower onto the ball, so I had to use a Jack to try to lower it low enough onto the ball. It slipped off the Jack because of the angle and by some miracle landed on the ball. If it hadn't I would have been in a bigger bind because it was too heavy to lift. Thanks for nothing, both Brenna Hall and her manager Heather Woolf don't give a damn about helping anyone. First time I've had to change my own tire at a tire shop because the people are pricks and forced me into a dangerous situation. They caused more damage to my tire and multiple times told me I could do something and then turned around and made it harder for no legitimate reason. Learn from my experience, go somewhere else, there's so many other tire shops in the area and that actually care about people. read more

Let's start off by saying they aren't getting a 1 Star because they tried to resolve the issue the best they could. BUT the issue should of never been there in the first place to begin with. I got tired put on in 2016 to rear tires are my front tires are smaller than my rear tires due to my car being a sports car. Well they gave me ONE right size tire and the second tire was the wrong size. I went back within 2 weeks in 2016 to get the issue fixed they assured me they would fix it. Now it's 2018 and I need new tires a family friend that's a mechanic was doing some work on my car and brought to my attention that one of my tires was a 45/17 instead of the 40/17 I'm suppose to have on there. (Same side the messed up originally) At this point I'm furious, how can you mess up TWICE! So what do we do we jump in my car and take it to the shop and explain the situation... the guy says they can't really do much for me. My issue was yes I get I bought the tires in 2016, but they had documented that I came back in 2016 for the SAME ISSUE! Being a women I don't know exactly what number to check to make sure I have the proper tires. (Now I do) the guy prorated both of my tires so I didn't have to pay full price that's why they aren't getting a 1 Star review. I just feel like I can't trust them with my car there anymore due to there being the same issue not once but TWICE! Also feel like the thread on my tire that was the correct size could of been worn down more due to the other tire not being the correct size. That's just my opinion. So I feel like they should of offered a little more as an incentive for dealing with the same issue multiple times. Lara B is right on the waiting area seating - it is pretty shabby (no, not shabby chic). But I can't hold that against the place. In an industry where you never know who you can trust, or who is going to screw you because you don't really know anything about cars or tires, it's hard to find a trustworthy place like Firestone. I've never bought new tires here, but have went here several times when I was having issues with my tires. Ask for Mike Duncan - he is a great guy and will give you a straight answer, recommending what is best for your car AND affordable for you. He's told me when my tires were worth repairing or when they needed to be scrapped. A patch here won't set you back too far - I don't think I've ever spent more than $15 getting the necessary repairs made. Washington & Kitley isn't exactly a very nice location, but if you are having tire issues and need help, go to Firestone and ask for Mike. He'll take care of you. read more

We stopped by here on our way back to Chicago because one of our cars got a flat tire on Labor Day. Every place else was closed for the holiday. While this place could't help us with that problem, but the guy was really helpful. He gave us good suggestions as far as switching the spare tire from the front to the back (since we were driving a front-wheel car), and he helped us manage the switch as well by letting us use his car jack. read more

They fucked my car up it was doing fine before I got a oil leak check. They put this dye in my car and since then my car act like it want to shit off. This is crazy how about you sit at a light with your kids in the car and the car act like it's about to shut off. I do not recommend nobody to go to any Firestone. Terrible experience. I purchased a full Firestone inspection at this location for a used car I purchased. They inspected the car, and did not find any significant or urgent problems. Four weeks later, the car loses power on the road and seems to have a very serious transmission/timing chain problem. Why did they not catch this during the inspection? I then dropped my car off on a Saturday afternoon for them to diagnose the problem with the acceleration issues. Monday comes around... nothing. Tuesday... nothing. Finally I call the office, and they tell me that my car is in the queue for Wednesday. No communication, horrible turnaround time. I picked up the car that Tuesday night. They will not get my business with that sort of customer service. Unacceptable. read more

On a trip to Indianapolis I had a flat that was not repairable. I was able to get it replaced in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price. Their mechanics are complete slobs. They smeared grease all over my steering wheel, fabric armrest and door handles. They just let me pay my bill, walk out and find it like this. It is not like they accidentally made a mess that they addressed before delivering the car. Yes, the staff cleaned most of it off, but I had a fair bit of work to do to make it right once I got home. That work included paying another shop to check over the work they did since a mechanic that thinks messing up a customer's car that badly is acceptable is liable to leave all kinds of things half done. No thinking person could get out of a car and leave that. It was disgusting! I uploaded a photo, so judge for yourself. They did get me in quickly, though and the price was competitive. read more

Showed up with a tire that needed to be plugged 45 minutes before closing. Lady running front desk said that the 3 guys working in the garage were working on a plug and it takes an hour. There were only two cars in the garage and no plug takes an hour. I would have respected her if she would have just told me they were trying to be lazy for the rest of the day and didn't want to help me. But instead lied. Don't try this FIRESTONE. They might not want to help. Update: it was a nice gesture for customer service to reply to my negative review but after emailing the customer service rep they still have not replied. I guess they really don't care what people have experienced at their store. read more

Got new tires from them. One was leaky, but when I brought it back they fixed it for free. These guys are awesome. Unlike the Firestone downtown, who tried to claim the TPMS sensor was cracked and wanted to charge me $180. read more

Don't waste your time with this place. Paid over 500.00 for an air conditioner repair last summer and even though I kept bringing it back, they kept promising but never did anything to fix it. When fall came, they said they could not diagnose it in cooler weather and to bring it in next spring. I did, but they had a new manager who wanted to charge me to do a fishing in the dark fix which he said may not even be the problem. But because he was a nice guy, he said he would warranty the 500.00 worth of repairs they had already done. RIP OFF and no air. read more

I rolled into this Firestone service station while moving from CT to the west and was concerned about a clunking sound at low speeds. Their service was immediate, friendly, thorough and extremely accommodating. I had a van full of household stuff, two kids and two pets. They allowed me to bring my dog into the lobby and quickly got to work on the diagnostics. It turned out to be 2 ball joints that couldn't be ignored and I needed to deal with before moving on. I can't say enough about the staff and their eagerness to explain my situation and to help me out as quickly as possible. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility. Completely horrible experience. I went in because my dashboard read "very low refrigerant, ac compressor off" and came out the conclusion that there may be a leak, The management team did not communicate well with each other there were too many hands in the pot they ended up changing the heater core hoses, and the manager suggested a radiator flush. They over promised and under delivered as soon as I left their lot my traction control and ABS lights came on. After that I've had overhearing issues. It's been three weeks and I had to take it back at least four times. The district manager has gotten involved and it's been a whole mess! They told me to go to the electrical mechanic because of electrical issues and I went to the electrical mechanic and they said I needed to go back for mechanical issues. My car has had its issues but it was running fine before I went to their lot, they are taking a little bit of ownership but refuse to acknowledge that they themselves were the catalyst in the issues, because they wanted to make a little bit of money for services and there was a miscommunication within their management team I know I've been out of the car for going on four weeks! I've spend money with them before and I've never ever had an issue on my end in terms of me being an irate customer. This time I have to warn customers that they have to have there issues in writing and always get a second opinion because they will charge a ridiculous amount. read more
