I went in on a Friday at 11 am and they got me in immediately. I swear six people were all working on my car at once! They filled up my tire pressure, cleaned the inside and outside of my windows and change my sticker all while someone was changing my oil! The staff was so sweet. While at JiffyLube located at: 355 N Shadeland Ave Indianapolis, IN 46219 United States I agreed to pay $69.95 for a oil change on a Honda Accord. Two cars were in the docks, my car and another guy's truck. The mechanics at JiffyLube broke a part of the guy's truck and then told the man that they'll have to replace it and that it was broken mistakenly.... (the truck was a company vehicle) Then for my Honda they claimed that they're unable to change my oil after 1 hour of my car being in the bay. Next they claim that a previous shop "must of broke the oil pan". Ironically the only place that the Honda receives an oil change is at this JiffyLube location.(Shadeland Ave.) They then claim that it's because of a shop "CarX" that "previously" worked on the car. And that they most likely broke it. And that JiffyLube would be more than happy to fix it but would first need me be aware that I'll have to buy the part. And by me doing so, they'll "give free labor". So I asked to see the sticker from CarX since my wife nor I have never ever used CarX. They then claimed that they had just threw the sticker away in the trash. Then of course the tell me to sit in the waiting area as they "attempt to find the sticker". While waiting I call my wife to make her aware of what has transpired. She confirmed that she never went to CarX and has no idea where one is located. The mechanic comes to get me in attempt to pressure me into agreeing to paying the additional $120+tax. And I said no, show me the proof of the sticker that you took. And then he says "well I can't find the sticker, that means that I would have to dig through the trash and my district manager said that I don't have to dig through trash for a customer. But the ticket said you went to CarX and they broke it. " I responded the only place this car has been is JiffyLube. He then looks in their system and confirms that November of 2016 the vehicle had received an oil change from their location. And claims that it's been over 10,000 miles. (Which is not true either) The mechanic then says, "I refuse to go dig through trash, that is demeaning and degrading for me to dig through trash." I calmly respond... "Dude, no one is demeaning you simply by asking for proof of something that you claim is true... I'm asking you for proof which you still have not shown. The last mechanic shop that this vehicle received was this JiffyLube location" The mechanic then says "You know here's what I'm going to do.. I'm going to replace the oil pan, out of my pocket and then we're just going to get you out of here." Then I just said "Sure." And which he responded under his breathe "but it's going to take a few hours". This entire experience has brought me to the conclusion that JiffyLube trains their management and employees to take advantage of their customers by either breaking parts. So that there is a larger issue to up-sale. Or to point out prospective issues like chicken little in attempts to use scare tactics to force people to pay unnecessary money. And ironically I've been on hold for over 40 minutes with JiffyLube corporate customer service. A full reflection of how they treat "customers". Kept me waiting over 3 hours for an oil change. And since being here I've seen this practice used on numerous other patrons. And normally trying to tap into their insurance or warranty. read more

Jiffy Lube is always consistent- High prices and constant up-selling. If something were really in dire need of needing extra servicing on my car, I wouldn't know it because even my clean filter that I just replaced last oil change really needs to be changed now. Even if they show me the filter, I can pretend I know what I'm looking at- yeah. That's what I'll do. Service here is usually really friendly. The guys are usually really nice (maybe it's because of my age and gender). They tend to treat me as a pseudo-customer buddy type. It does make the whole situation a bit more comfortable- Of course, this is after they try to sell me everything under the moon. They will vacuum your mats, but if you have anything on the floor boards (like I do in my messy car), it will all end up in your passenger seat. I do have to edit to add: At least they are open later than most places and take walk-ins. For that, I give 3 stars because thinking back, I felt a little lost after Meineke wouldn't take me without an appointment. Who did I know I could turn to? read more

Great service as I was in before 8 and about by 820. They didn't try to up sell me on all the other extras like most oil changes places but took the time to walk me through my cars current needs. The lobby was well kept and a comfortable place to wait and I was able to turn down the volume on the TV which is a pet peave of mine. Overall great experience and I highly recommend. read more

It's more expensive but you can be in and out in 15 minutes with no appointment. That makes it worth it to me. Everyone knows what they're doing and is very polite. Extra special bonus: they vacuum your front floorboards and clean your windshield. If your in the area and don't like to wait hours or drop off for an oil change, give this place a whirl. read more

I hate this place so muchhhhhh for a simple oil change we go in and our altnatpr was out and battery and our car showed no signs at all then the guy tells us alternator goes out like a light bulb wow really and that our fix look fun funnn I guess he has all money in world. Left my Honda overnight to be serviced at the Jiffy Lube on Shadeland... $275 later, problem not solved. Take it back in, leave it overnight. It's 5:30 (they close at 7), I call THEM to see what's up, they say no more can be done here and come get it. Upon arrival, my tank is on E, my driver's seat is pushed completely back and lying flat, the heat and defrost are cranked, R&B is playing on my radio (I was definitely listening to a musical), and Dove ladies deodorant is on my passenger seat that does not belong to me. Naturally, I confront the crew on duty. The manager was off premises so I waited for him to return to let him know that someone was having sex in my car. All five or six men on site are all standing around smirking at me, insisting that they always lean the seats back flat, that that IS my deodorant, that men use Dove sometimes too, and that "it was parked in the garage overnight, sweetie" (they had about six cars in a parking lot, and a three car garage. They also told me the lot isn't monitored by camera.) After getting heated, the deodorant magically belonged to a creepy employee who said "Come on, I just started and didn't want to get in trouble." I said "You're a liar. You would have said that to begin with." He told me to come sniff his armpits to see that it was the same scent. Oh, and that I was jumping to conclusions thinking it was sex. They thought that someone taking a nap sounded much more plausible and FAR less unprofessional. The staff there are untrustworthy, condescending thugs. I'm contacting corporate first thing in the morning. PS None of the other cars they were working on were lying down flat... I looked into the rest of the vehicles to check. And no refund or credit was issued or offered for the $275 that fixed none of my issues. read more

Not a bad place. Customer service was pretty good. My issue was that the gentleman that helped me didn't mention there was an hour long wait. It looked as though I was next due to the lack cars that were there. I ended up being there a total of 2hours. The constant upselling is annoying, but that's any automotive service center. Stay away! The manager is a JERK! Very snide. He was fine when I was paying - very fake friendly and smiling, just as I'm sure they have taught him to be when dealing with a customer, but I wouldn't talk to a dog the way he was talking to his employees. I guess he thought I couldn't hear or wouldn't care how he was speaking to his lowly servants. WOW! The oil change itself was fine. I got the oil I needed after fighting off the heavy sales pitch for everything else he could think of to sell me. The guys in the garage were nice - they smiled and treated me respectfully. Car got vacuumed - and it NEEDED it! However, the cost of the oil change (just the basic stuff) seemed pretty high compared with other offerings available out there.
