If I could give Firestone Complete Auto Care negative stars, I would! MY CAR IS NOW COMPLETELY UNUSABLE BECAUSE OF THIS BUSINESS This place is an absolute disaster. I brought my car in expecting basic competence and instead got a complete nightmare. Nobody seems to know what they're doing, and somehow every single step of the process was handled in the worst way possible. Communication? Nonexistent. Professionalism? Laughable. They kept my car way longer than promised with zero updates, and every time I tried to get answers, I got runaround, attitude, or straight-up contradictions. It honestly felt like they were either avoiding responsibility or just completely clueless. And somehow, impressively, my car came back in worse condition than when I dropped it off. That takes effort, in the worst way. At this point, I don't even trust that they did anything correctly at all. Customer service was beyond terrible. Went in for a routine service, with a work truck. They called to ask where my missing lug nut was. When firestone called me to ask where it was and I replied with it was in the glove box, but they couldn't find it. I picked my truck up and everything in my truck is all over the place and my brakes are still squeaking. It's more so the mess I'm disappointed about. It's the little things. That lug nut was exactly where I said but everything was turned over and if they looked for a half second longer, they would have seen it. I have used this Firestone for years. They are always courteous and complete the work well.

There are employees that scam older people. Go to another palace in Kingwood because these people that are working there are crooks. My dad dropped off his truck to get a Front end alignment that is covered by the warranty he purchased. While he was at home someone from Firestone called and said the guy working on his car quit and he needs to come pay for the work. He then said you can give me your SSN Social Security number and we can take care of it from here without you coming into the shop.So my dad gave his SSN thinking he was doing the right thing. When my dad went to pick up the car the next day the guy that was working on his car was still there and he didn't quit. Dad spoke to the manager and was defending himself. Called before I dropped off my car stated I had a flat tire was told to come up there and it should not take long. 8 hours after I dropped off my car they "found out" the tire was leaking air. An hour later it was fixed. By no surprise the customer service was awful. You have one employee saying one thing and another saying something else. After having my "tire" fixed for 9 hours at this shop two days later my cars having issues that it's never had before and hard to miss. Took it to a different shop. Had them do full brakes and replace front rotors. Started getting a sqeeky sound, took it back 4 times and each time they machined the front left rotor until it was no longer good. POS place. They never replaced it and never fixed the squeek. I got Christian brothers to fix the problem. Screw Hot Rock!!! Oh and the fat manager was smartass asshole and flicked my keys at me. I drive a company vehicle as my daily and don't check under the hood as often as I should. I happen to look under the hood to investigate a low battery and found that the these guys left 12 inch oil filters pliers on the edge of of the engine compartment. This piece of steel had been 2 inches away from falling into the engine! Not only that the jabronies neglected to replace a cover that helps prevent things from falling into the engine after working on my vehicle. Also discovered they reported the incorrect mileage to my fleet management company. My service is predicated on how many miles are on the odometer, they reported 57,000 miles...in actuality I had 30,000! I'm just glad they were competent enough to change the oil. Excellent service from Firestone on both mechanical and tires. On their tires they require you rotate them every 2000 miles to keep the Warrenty in effect. Their service on rotation of tires is excellent fast fast! I find them to be a great and professional company. read more

Complete waste of time. I scheduled a appointment to get an alignment online for a Friday afternoon. They called and said they had no appointments and rescheduled for Sunday at 1 o'clock. I get there and the service rep tells me they won't be able to fit my truck on the rack to do the alignment. Told me some BS story about how a truck fell off the rack and ripped off the door. He then proceeds to ask another rep if he thought it would fit and his response was "not if you don't want another door put on if it falls off" then walks back into the garage. I'm so pissed, I'm still in the damn parking lot writing this review and I never do reviews. read more

I went to the Firestone located at Kingwood, Texas on North Park Dr. yesterday (1-26-2015) morning before going to work. I am new to the city and not familiar with any other complete auto shops. Firestone used to be my go to place. Not anymore. I explained to the service rep that my car was making noises that sounded as if it may be coming from the left side of my car, perhaps under the hood. Without inspecting my car he told me that I would have to take my car to an engine mechanic because they don't do engines. I explained that I am not a mechanic so I can't say it's my engine, I just want help in finding out what is going on with my car. There was no attempt to assist or run a diagnostic to ascertain the problem. Eventually after I was still standing there explaining the kind of noises I was hearing - and also to note - that he impolitely walked away while I was talking, he finally walked outside with me to listen to my car. Again, he advised that I take it to an engine mechanic. This experience didn't set right with me, so when I got off from work that evening, as a comparison I drove to the Firestone in Humble, Texas near 1960FM. They immediately assisted me and explained that they would have to do a diagnostic and put my car up on a machine to determine what was wrong. In addition they offered to make an appointment and also shared the best time during day I can bring it back. It feels like the Firestone at Kingwood, Texas didn't want my patronage. read more

I think they may have sabotaged my car. The last few years when I have taken my car to Firestone and asked if they have a coupon they did but something major went wrong the next day. This last month I got a new tire at 50,000 miles after being rear-ended. After the collision the car was pulling to the right immediately, the same time. This time I had a flat tire. This is a relatively new civic and it just happened too often and my friends have had the same experience. Most damming is what happened last time this happened. This is an honest, reputable automotive repair shop. I had to bring my 2006 Toyota Prius in because four of the dash lights, including the check engine light were on. Also there was a very noticeable problem with my drive train. The price for a full diagnostic is $99.00 before tax. After putting the car on the lift and running the diagnostic, the technician determined that the problem was in the electric system, which on a hybrid involves over 300 Volts of electricity charging and discharging across a series of batteries and a generator that is connected to the drive train. They were unable to remedy the issue. Because of that, the manager decided to waive the cost of the diagnostic. I was grateful for the honesty and fair treatment that I received today. I went to this place for a warranty tire replacement. At least that's what I thought would happen. Joke was on me. First of all, I got the Road Hazard warranty when I purchased my Firestone tires, which was supposed to cover tire replacement in case of an unfixable flat (which I now had.) It turns out that is not the case; the warranty just reduces the cost of a new tire based on how much tire wear they measure. Not exactly what they told us when we bought the warranty. Totally misleading sales BS. Don't get it. They would not replace the tire for free, but charged me for a new tire plus new warranty on it. I argued with them about the cost and the fact that a new warranty was not needed but they maintained that the warranty needs to cover all four tires or not at all. What a crock. So they did the work - and did it wrong! They literally put the tire on the wheel backwards. (Inside facing out) They say its ready (after an hour) and I walk out and immediately caught the blatant error. I mean is this a tire shop or what? So it took another 15 minutes to put the tire on correctly before I angrily drove off. I've had each of our vehicles here for alignments in the last 6 months. Each visit was on an early Saturday morning when they opened. The staff is very friendly and professional. I took my truck in on 12/29/16 to the Firestone store on Northpark Drive to get my brakes inspected, my front brake pads replaced and the two engine belts replaced. I got the estimate to replace the brake pads and the belts so I decided to let them do the work. I was told the repairs would take approximately two hours and it would be an hour before they would be able to start. I left my truck there with them and told them to call me when the work was done. I received a call from the store about two hours later and the service tech said there were some other things I may need to have done like fuel system cleaning, cooling system flushing, brake system flushing, etc. due to the mileage on my truck. The service tech said they do a complementary inspection to see if there was any additional work needing to be done while my truck was in their shop. I declined the additional services and asked how my brake repairs were going. The service tech said the repair tech was working on getting them done and repairs were going well. He said he would call me when the repairs were complete. About an hour later, I received a call from the service tech stating that my repairs were complete and my truck was ready. I went back to the store, checked out and paid $378.45 for parts and labor to replace my front brake pads and two engine belts. When I went to get my truck, I did a quick inspection to see if everything was in place and noticed that it did not appear anything was done. I drove my truck to my house, which is a short distance away from the store, and got under my truck for a better inspection. Sure enough, my brake calipers were never removed and the brake pads were never changed. I further inspected my belts and found they were the original factory belts by the GM part numbers on the belts. I went back to the store and talked to one of the service techs in the store lobby. I told him the situation and asked him to come look at my truck. He said the repair tech was in the shop and he would ask him. After further discussion between the service tech and repair tech, it was determined that the repair tech just performed an inspection and did not replace anything, but I was charged for parts and labor. The repair tech said I didn't need to replace my brake pads. He also marked on the inspection report that my belts were cracking, but did not replace them either. Bottom line is that I know my truck better than this repair tech and I asked for replacement of these items to ensure I do not have any problems later down the road. I drive my truck A LOT. It is a GMC 2013 truck with 109,000 miles on it. The brakes were starting to squeal and the brake pedal was starting to get spongy. The belts were starting to crack and needed replacing. That's why I brought it in on my day of vacation to get it done. If I asked them to do something, do it. Especially if you are going to charge people for it. I was refunded my money after all was said and done. Unfortunately, my truck still needs brakes and belt changes. I took my truck in while I was on vacation and now I'll have to schedule repairs on the weekend or during the week at another shop. If you elect to use this shop in the future, check the work or have the service tech/repair tech walk you through the repairs before you pay. There is a disconnect with communications between what customers ask for in the lobby and what is done in the shop. You can pay a hefty amount of money and not get what you asked for. It would have cost me $378.45 of money for a complementary inspection if I had not checked myself. read more

I called the store yesterday and made an appointment for today. I made certain they had 4 tires available in the store. I also informed them that I had to be on the road no later than 3:00 in order to pick my 7 year old up from school this afternoon. I was assured that replacing all four tires and completing the inspection would take an hour and thirty minutes. I arrived at the shop at 12:50 PM for my 1:00 appointment. My truck sat in the same parking space until 1:35. One of the employees came and told me at 2:35 that the technician could not find the tires and they had only taken one tire off of the truck thus far. I asked if they had at least completed the inspection and they had not even done that. I told her to put my tires back on the truck and I would find somewhere else to purchase new tires. She left and came back 10 minutes later to tell me that the technician had already put three of the tires on the rims but he could not find the fourth. So at this point I have zero options. I have to be out of there in 15 minutes and I don't want their product. I have spent 2.5 hours of my time and now my money on this and I still have to go back tomorrow morning for the fourth tire as well as go somewhere to have the vehicle inspected. I am a repeat customer at this business with four vehicles. I will never give another dollar to this company and I will do my level best to be sure everyone knows that Firestone has no respect for the valuable time of their customers. read more

This store in particular has tried to screw me over and over, for example, I took my car in for a simple tune up, and they said I needed $3800 in repairs which is not the problem, but $1000 for ignition coils? I would urge everyone reading this post to never use this location. They put my family's lives in danger with their shotty craftsman ship. They did not stand behind the warranty, failed to tighten lug nuts which caused serious damage to our vehicle while driving down the interstate. Refused to pay for a tow bill or help pay for damages. When we contacted them they said it was our fault that we did not check the vehicle before driving it off the lot. NEVER NEVER NEVER trust this service center if you value your family's life. I made an appointment to have 4 new tires mounted and balanced. I was 15 minutes late to my appointment, which I know it was my fault. Still, they said it'd take about an hour to get it done. They did not take my car in and start working on it until almost an hour later. After another 30 minutes, a guy came and apologized to me. At the time, it was only 30 minutes longer than they promised so I said no problem. After that, however, I had to wait another hour for them to finish. I ended up spending 2 and a half hours to finish mounting and balancing 4 tires! I saw them parked my car out front for 10 minutes and no one told me the car was done. Apparently either there was no communication between the mechanics and the sales, or they just never gave a crap. I had to walk up to a salesman to ask if the work was done. Not only that, they did not mention why the work took 2.5 hours, nor did they felt the need to apologize in the end. I was very unhappy at this point but I figured I'd never come back to this place again so whatever. My advice to you: Find another tire store or another FIrestone elsewhere, or bring your phones/laptops and prepare to wait like I did. I'm sure it doesn't happen to everyone of their customers, but it happened to me, and that means it could happen to you. read more

I had a flat from a screw in my tire. I was able to air it up in my driveway and drive it to Firestone. All it needed was a simple patch, I have done it before so I know what it takes. Should be down in about 15 minutes. When I arrived there was one other person getting their tire fixed as well. On staff that day there was 3 mechanics and the store manager. So one of the tech got to my truck right away which I was happy about. I didn't think it would take that much time. The staff didn't have any since of urgency and we're obviously getting paid by the hour not the job. The manager was flipping station on TV, enjoying coffee and waking up for the day. I could hear the person in front of me and I remember the manager asking the lady "So are you going to going to be late to work?" while sipping on his coffee almost saying very suggly "HA I am making you late." Like he had some type of power or something. When I was being checked out he asked the same question, "So are you going to be late to work." I replied "No, I'm going to be early. Here your sign." Of course anybody that has to spend an hour in the morning doing something they didn't plan to do is going to be late. The nerve. The manager showed zero empathy and obviously did not want to be there. Customer service is a part of their job and he fails miserably. After an hour of waiting they were finally done and I was on my way never to return. Please if you have any common since go someplace else. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Find somewhere else to take your vehicle. This is the 3rd time I have picked up my car and gotten no tire rotation even though I specifically asked for one. The first 2 times it occurred, I had to wait for my car to go through the rotation again to be serviced, they didn't pull my car in as soon as a spot opened. This time, I refuse to wait. Also, I refuse to go there ever again. Not only will they waste your time, but they will give your car back to you in worse condition than when you dropped it off with them. I have left there twice with my splash guard hanging down. And with a car that sits low to the ground, it isn't noticeable while it is pulled front first into a parking spot. Luckily, I didn't lose my splash guard and have to buy another one. In essence, they don't care about your time or your car. Not only do you have to deal with horrible customer service, but you have to check your car for damages before leaving. This has happened both with the Firestone on North Park and the one in Humble. read more

This review is based on several years of experience having service done on four vehicles at this location. The service has always been OK. The mechanics and representatives there have always been courteous and knowledgeable, and no one has misrepresented the Firestone product. Their pricing is competitive with all other shops, and provide discounts if needed. As with other shops, customers will experience problems that should be called to the managements attention. I have always had problems resolved immediately at no cost to me. I have not experienced any problems with service at this location that is foreign to any other shop or dealer location. read more

I went to this place for a simple oil change on my F250. After several hours they kept giving me the run around, saying that they need a different filter then they broke the oil cap on my filter. So I paid some silly disounted rate (maybe $10 cheaper) and left, very disatisfied! The next day I took a trip to the south side of town and noticed that my engine oil temp was waaaay above normal about 30 degrees above normal. I called Firestone and they gave me the run aound saying it was my radiator and there was a problem with the cooling system. So I had another shop replace the radiator for $2000.00 and wouldnt you know it, IT WAS NOT the radiator. Turns out, the guy replacing my engine oil dropped some trash in the engine oil (my guess is pieces of plastic that he broke off the engine oil cap or filter). This trash got into my engine oil cooler and is now costing me $3000.00 to replace. So, my trip to Firestone to get my oil changed has cost me almost $5000.00 and they refuse to take blame or even try to compensate me for all the extra cost. *****DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE THEY ARE IGNORANT THEIVES AND LIARS!!!**** read more

It does not even deserve one star!! My experience was horrible! Waited for 5 hours to get my car's oil changed. The second day after oil change, I noticed a big oil stain on the ground of my garage beneath the car's engine. The oil was leaking. 10 days after oil change, the oil level became a half bar. Engine light went on 15 days after oil change. I went to Firestone asking the employee to help me check whether they did a bad job resulted oil leakage. They said that, they could not check the oil level. They can only change the oil! I have to change the oil again? In Firestone? NO way. I went to the mechanic shop and had my engine checked. The error code indicated that multiple miss fires of cylinder #4 & 5. The oil leakage somehow affect the cylinder. It costed me 400 bucks to have my engine fixed!!! All because firestone did not do a good job and did not want to be responsible for it!! I definitely do not recommend anyone have their cars near that shop. read more
