Took my 2026 Jeep in for an oil change. My Jeep has 17,000 miles on it. During the service, the tech tried to tell me that my coolant was below the minimum line. I declined adding additional fluid as this didn't make sense given low miles. He than came back after the service was finished to tell me that my power steering fluid was also below the minimum, almost as a backhanded comment for declining the coolant. Immediately after the service I drove straight to the Jeep dealer for a second opinion. They lifted the hood and showed me both fluid levels were at the maximum line and in fact did not to be filled. As a woman, this is beyond frustrating to me that vehicle techs think they can take advantage and make an extra buck. 0/0 stars. read more

I just took my BMW there for a oil change and asked 2 people do they know how to turn off the service light if they do the oil change. They said yes they can YouTube it. They did not know or even try to turn of the annoying notification every time you start the car. They lied to me and when I complained they said they told me they will TRY. It's like I was not part of the conversation I said that's not what they said. Will never go back to these crooks they won't refund me. I don't know if it's any ones fault or if it's negligence. The wrong oil filter was put on my truck. I only noticed when the oil had leaked out all over my driveway. I took my truck to the dealership to have it looked over. The oil was completely gone after only one day. $500 in repairs to my vehicle at the dealership. Jiffy Lube offered to refund my oil change. No mention of the $500 in repairs or the oil stains on my driveway. I'm just shocked I have always trusted that mechanics would use the correct parts. I will be more cautious in the future. First and last time at Jiffy. When you get there they say to wait inside and they will go through the service with you. I did as I was told and waited inside. The guy comes in after 10 minutes & says it's going to be $50 for a conventional oil change (insane but okay) . I say I have a 50% off coupon. He says "ya my store doesn't participate in that that's for Atlanta Georgia" This coupon is NOT for Atlanta, Georgia but whatever. I know SOME locations don't take the coupon so I find another location quick that does which happens to be close by and say "no worries I'm gonna go a mile down to the other jiffy location and use my coupon since it says they do accept this coupon if I could just get my keys back please" "We already drained your oil so you can't leave" So fucking annoying. I don't say anything else I just sat back down because im not about to argue with the guy since he doesn't make the decision if his store accepts coupons or not but OMG Roy you were wrong for that! Keeping me trapped, knowing damn well I couldn't leave not even giving me options for resolution. Go somewhere else this place is such a rip off, ew. Tried to charge me over $100 for an oil change with zero explanation, then has the audacity to look at ME crazy when I asked a question. Pulled everything out of my glove box and just left it on the seat... Didn't touch my tires so I had to do it my damn self when I left, reviewed nothing with me afterwards but of course tried to add on a filter... then have the nerve to check "completed" all over the receipt. I had an oil change done on my car today, 2-9-24 at West Lake Houston Kingwood Jiffy Lube. No one talked to me about costs until they had started working on my car. Then I learned that they expected to charge me $150.00, which included replacing an air filter. The dirty air filter that i was told had come from my car had been on the counter when I first entered the building. I had wondered why they had something so filthy on display. After I complained, changed to a cheaper oil and cancelled the air filter replacement $20 was deducted from my bill. My car and I will not be back. read more

When I arrived I told the service technician I needed transmission fluid change and a tire rotation he told me to go sit inside when the service technician asked me if I'm using all the same fluids as before I said yes. DONT COME HERE I took my car for a oil change and they broke my windshield. Guy dropped my windshield wiper and shattered it. They promised to have it replaced and asked me to call and schedule a time to have them get a guy to fix it. I have called 6 times to have it replaced as the promised me they would and each time am told the manager isn't in or isn't available. I've left my number and am still being ignored. Went to Jiffy Lube in Kingwood yesterday for state inspection. They failed the car. The explanation was "left blinker indicator is out" and "Brakes are lower than 3mm and has trouble in stopping distance." (see photo) I went to the auto parts and bought new brake pads and the bulb. I noticed that my car has double bulbs on each side. So if one bulb is burned out it doesn't matter because the other one still works. Texas regulation says that you must have at least one tail, one stop, and one turn signal on each side so this should not have failed. The manager claimed that "all equipment must be working" which is incorrect. We debated this for over 15 minutes. I tested the stopping distance myself. At 20 mph I stopped the car in 6 feet! The regulation says the car must stop in under 25 feet so this should not have failed! This morning I pulled the brake pads and measured them. New pads are around 10mm. Mine measured a little over 8mm, not the 3mm like Jiffy Lube claimed. I put the old pads back on. I took the car back to Jiffy Lube with the boxes of new pads to show the manager (Colton) the measurements. He told me that the 3mm measurement "didn't matter, it was the stopping distance". He refused to further entertain the measurement discussion. Magically the car's stopping distance was not a problem during the second inspection (by Colton) even though no work was done on the car. I brought my car in for an oil change earlier in the day on Sunday, 13MAR22. 2022 Hyundai Tucson. I hit the road immediately to head to a job in Port Arthur so didn't notice an issue until I took a test stop in Baytown and heard scraping. Upon inspecting the undercarriage I found the oil access panel had not been properly nor fully reattached and dragging underneath. Right side corner completely demolished and will have to replace. I took my new Cadillac Escalade into Jiffy Lube to get a quick oil change before a long road trip and ended up stranded in New Mexico on the side of the road because they forgot to replace the coolant cap back on the coolant reservoir we had to get a tow truck to tow my new car all the way to Santa Fe, New Mexico, and rent a car and then when we left for our vacation we had to drive an extra two hours just to go get it ! This is my third visit here. I usually stay closer to home, but like the fact that Jiffy Lube seems to always have coupons for their services available. These guys and gals are professionals at what they do, and there is no hard sell. As with anything else, you need to have a little knowledge of what you want, because they do check filters, etc.. While the name implies fast service, they are just as quick as anyone else running a specialized service, so plan on 30 - 45 minutes if you are first or second in line. The prices are also a little lower than some, and higher than others. You go for the exemplary service and professionalism - and in this day and age, that's harder to find than it used to be. If I could give minus 10 stars I would!!! After getting an oil change, I pulled out of Jiffy Lube's driveway and immediately started to hear metal grinding under my car. I pulled into a parking lot and crawled under my car to discover that their crew only replaced 1 of 4 screws holding up my engine skid plate. After driving around the block with my skid plate making grinding noise the whole way, the employee handling new customers only commented to me, "Oh, your skid plate fell off!" and continued working. I asked him, "You do I realize I just left here?" He replied, "Yes, about two minutes ago" and he continued working. When they finally found the time to take care of their mess, I had to plead with them to be careful to not rip off the skid plate as they bumbled their way trying get my car back into the garage bay. After waiting 10 minutes, I had to ask about the status of getting skid plate back on. Apparently, no one thought it important enough to let me know it was done over 5 minutes ago. No one working their also did not feel important to apologize for their mistake. After asking to talk to the manger twice, even the manager did not feel it important to apologize for the bad service. After all this really, really poor customer service, I asked for the name and number of the managers boss. After leaving him two voices messages over two days and sending him a text to call me, even he does not feel it was important to call me. So in the end: No Apology, no coupon, no nothing! DO NOT GO HERE. I say this because I have had 2 bad experiences so far. First bad experience) I go to get an oil change and refill my engine coolant. After they finish I drive off and get onto the highway and my car starts to beep that the engine is critically hot. I pull over and the car is smoking and get it towed. Turns out they didn't realize that there was a crack in the coolant tank and it all drained out. That cost me $1500 to repair. Bad experience two) go to get an engine oil change.
