I would stay clear of this shop. I get it that the workers are in a per hour basis. But they're purposely stalling work to the max. I went in to have a tire rotation. The worker removed my front tire and brought it further inside (presumably for balancing, although i didn't order it), then left and go around the shop that looks like 'trying to look busy', for more than an hour!!! Literally without touching my tire. So I complained to the front desk and confirmed I didn't want a tire balancing. In which the guy went and talked to the guy still going around the shop "doing nothing", without knowing I'm intently watching him. I saw them get my tire sitting by the balancer machine, and rotated my tires in about 15min. Even with the balancing job, it shouldn't take 3 hours, right??? read more

After appointment was made online for 11-5 I called on 11-5 to confirm as I never got confirmation and was told they could not work on my truck on 11-5 and made my new appointment made for 11am on 11-6. Drove 20 mins to store and dropped truck off at 10:55am and was told would be ready within 2 hours. At 1-1/2 hours I noticed my truck had not been taken in to be worked on. when I asked I was told by staff that they were busy and I needed to bring back another time, when I challenged that I was told they would get it in and have it done in 30 mins. 5 mins later staff brought my key out and said Sorry we can't help you today call us to make a new appointment. Wow! I asked why did you not just tell me 1-1/2 hours ago you were busy rather then making me wait and waste my time and staff turned the issue into my problem and said they were just busy. very very poor communication and customer service and employees that just don't seem to care about customers time. Very frustrating. Sent this note to corporate hopefully they will address this issue with their staff so it doesn't happen again. Recently the quality of the customer service of this office has been declining. That is the reason why I decided to bring my car to another mechanic except the tire issue. This time as well, my experience with the front agent, Gary was not pleasant. Last Wednesday the alarm showed as the pressure on the tire is low, so I made an appointment via a website. The schedule for the next day was full open, yet immediately after I received the email to request to reschedule my appointment. Thursday morning at 8AM, I called the office, and Gary answered the phone. I told him about the scheduling issue. He said, Thursday was not available, but Friday was open, so I made an appointment for Friday afternoon. Since I was worried about the tire, I asked him if I could bring my car to put some air on. He said yes, so I brought in and a technician helped to put the air into all tires. Next day, I was running late for the appointment time. So I called the office to say my delay, and Gary answered again. When I arrived, it was 15 minutes late, Gary said, "I will charge you double because you are late". I laughed because it was a joke, but he said, "Now I charge you triple. You think I am joking.I am not joking, right xxx??" He was saying to a man who was standing at the waiting area. The guy agreed with what Gary said. I felt this conversation was very harassing, also his attitude was very rude, but I did not say anything at that time. I had to wait for half an hour while the car was inspected. I expected it would finish soon since they found the tires had no nails, but another agent came out, and he suggested changing two tires due to the low edge. I agreed to proceed. The agent told me it would get done by 2PM. At that time it was 12:15PM. It seemed plenty time to change two tires. So I left for lunch. About 1:50PM, I called the office asking how long it would take if it's not finished yet. It was Gary to answer my phone. He responded it would take another half an hour or an hour. So, I decided to go home first. About 20 minutes later, I received the call from him. At that time I could not answer but the message said it was ready. Since I was already home and needed to wait for a ride, when I returned to the office, it was 3:20PM. When I entered, I said, "I am back." Gary was in front, he saw me and said, "How can I help you?" He pretended that it was my first visit on that day. Then he said, "Oh, it's you. I thought your car had already left." I felt very disrespectful with his response. So I totally ignored his response. I have been a customer with Fire Stone for almost 20 years. Some stores are nice, some stores are not. We switched to the El Toro office from the Laguna Niguel office 5 years ago, because the agents of the Laguna Niguel were also bad. When we found this office, we were very happy because some agents were very caring and much nicer. This store used to be better, but not anymore unfortunately. The two agents who attended the day are not qualified as customer care. The attitude of another agent was not kind but arrogant as well. Not only was the estimated time not accurate, but also the scheduling system was a mess. Plus, no explanations about my car were given by them. I stopped by a fire stone in Costa Mesa and they quickly filled my tires up with air. The following day I had the light on again. I made an appointment, took it into fire stone in Lake Forest. They repaired a valve with no charge and they sent me on my way. I always get the warranty for specific things like this. And they always take good care of me. read more

My son was visiting from LA and we noticed his 2011 Chevy Cruze was running rough and needed a check up. Took it in for a tune up since it was at 77,000 miles. Make an appointment online for Saturday morning, dropped it off and they called with an update within a couple of hours. Needed brakes which he also had them take care of. Full tune-up, brakes and overall car check up and it was done by early afternoon. Prices are competitive. The service manager was very helpful and we will return in the future to get other work done there. Drove it home, it runs like a charm now, tune-up did the trick! Don't forget your car needs preventative maintenance just like everything else! I would highly recommend Firestone Complete Auto Care. If they cannot manage their online appointments, then they should not have that as an option. I understand being busy but I am busy as well and really needed to get the maintenance done on my car. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Carlos, the manager is extremely rude and disrespectful. I am disabled and have a hard time getting in and out of the car so I asked a couple of the people in the garage area a question from my car. Carlos yelled at me from across the parking lot stating that I wasn't allowed to speak with them because they are working and it wasn't my turn. He then yelled at me to come inside. When I explained to him that I have a disability and that it's difficult to get in and out of my car, he said he didn't care and that all customers have to come inside to ask questions and get in line. He then proceeded to instruct the employees to ignore me and then ignored me himself. All I wanted to do was ask how much it costs to get air in my tires and if they even provide that service. I asked several times but he and everyone else ignored me. I finally got out of my car and walked in with my cane to ask for the regional managers information to file a complaint. The manager Carlos proceeded to yell at me in front of the other customers despite being disabled and barely being able to walk (I didn't have my wheelchair at the time because I was just driving to the get a pickup order and I wasn't planning to get out of the car). He continued to belittle and berate me accusing me of cutting in line and wasting all of the customers time and cheating them out of their spots. Carlos publicly humiliated me, disrespected me, embarrassed me, and treated me worse than I have ever been treated in any establishment, EVER. I have had a bad experience recently at Firestone in Laguna Hills. I have gone there for 10 years with my 08 Saturn service was pretty good under the manager Tom and another guy. I have had a lot of work done on my car recently, including a thermostat replacement valve, replacement hoses , etc . When I went to pick up my car about a week ago they said everything was all set . On my way home. I noticed it said "change oil soon "I called them when I got home and they said I did not request such Wow , don't you think they could've made a quick phone call so my car would've been completely done with the oil change? I don't have time to keep on going back I decided to go to Firestone at Lake Forest (since it had three stars instead of the 2 1/2 stars in Laguna Hills - to get my oil changed for $49.00, which I say is high !) I was driving my car the next day and went to wash my windshield, and only one squirter worked . Also the receipt said air filter, brake fluid exchange and battery guard recommended. I guess they are too busy to call and verify if I want to replace the recommended items. So I made an appointment to bring it back there so they could unplug my washer fluid. But I decided I'd rather go somewhere else and get better service. I thought Firestone was a good place to take your car but it's just a another big name place which too often doesn't DELIVER big ! If I could give this place 0 star , I will do it . the worst place i have ever been , i went to buy 4 tires for my truck on sunday 19th . heathertold me that they had to order them because they did not have them in the store and I had to leave a deposit of $250 and pay the rest when they were installed, but at the end of the transaction she had charged me for the total of the tires $1301.94. That was the first thing I didn't like it, but I thought. (there is no problem if I have to pay them anyway . and she told me that they would install it on Monday but told her because of my job,I could only get there at 5:00 pm and she told me there is no problem, the mechanics will do it for you. My surprise was that when I arrived at 5:00 pm, heater was gone and Gery, who was at the front desk, I told him that I had an appointment and he told me that it was too late to install the tires. So I told him he better make me an appointment for Sunday. because I know that I am not the only client that is there. the next day heater called me and told me that they can install the tires for sure so I asked permission from my boss 1 hour to be there earlier, I arrived at 4:30 pm on Tuesday and gave to Gery the keys and I sat down to wait, around 5:30 they put my truck in the shop so I thought they were going to start work on my truck, when it was 6:30 pm Gery came out and told me that the mechanic had left my truck there and left without saying anything. Gery said that he would talk to the guy.I understand that they have a lot of work and that is why I had made my appointment on Sunday but they promised me that they would do it before. 1ts I did not like that they played with my time . 2 nd after the mechanic got an attention call I would no longer feel comfortable that he touched my truck . This place has either dishonest or incompetent service managers. Took my car for low radiator coolant level. Leak test is done by mechanic - report says no leaks. Service manager says - no the radiator hoses are bad and need replacing. Estimate $873. Took the car to my mechanic, radiator was half full because of worn radiator cap. Total cost - $70. Called on Wednesday to make an appointment for Friday morning for a tire rotation. I explained I had to leave by 10am and if that is something they can accommodate. She said it won't be a problem so I made an appointment for 8:30am. I made arrangements with my work to start my shift later that day. On Friday, I arrived and reminded him that I had to leave by 10am but he said he can not guarantee it. I explained that I was told it can be done when I made the appointment and that I can not stay if it will be past 10am. He responded by telling me that he's the STORE MANAGER, then points to his shop and tells me "Do you see how busy we are?" and that I should go if I can't wait. Called Corporate and filed a complaint. I was told the area manager, Mr Pete, would call me back in 48 hours to discuss the situation. Still haven't heard back from anyone. Came into location for wheel alignment. Had my car for 6 hours. Promised alignment would be completed at 6. I called several times to get status of progress. Called at 7:30pm. They said they just got my car on the rack and just stared working on it. Firestone called back at 8pm and said it was done. Really? In half and hour? I came to pick it up. The alignment post report came back EXACTLY the same as when I came in. Camber, caster, toe for the front and rear was exactly the same numbers. NO work was done on the alignment while claiming that they did. Gave me a black and white print out so I can't see the red and green outline of the report. Then proceeded to tell me they couldn't correct my alignment because of my worn out shocks. LIES. My shocks are not worn. Shocks is dampening the suspension perfectly. I had my mechanic friend double check the shocks the next day to be sure. The shocks were perfect. Additionally he mentioned that worn out shocks do contribute to bad alignment since the car is stationary and the shocks are not moving up and down. Then they tried to get more money out of me by telling me my battery was bad. I asked for a battery report. They said they didn't have any. I said how do know then if the battery is bad. They said based on experience. I had the battery measured the next day and sure enough the battery is fine measure 12.6 volts. Stay away from these guys. They are crocked mechanics. Wasted my time and got nothing fixed. Wasted more time the next day verifying their lies. Go to a reputable shop if you value your time. I called at 2:30 and found out they hadn't even looked at it yet but that it was "next up." I called again at 4 and it still hadn't been checked out. I needed my car to get to an appointment at 5, so I had to cancel. My ride could only take me back by 4:30, so I had to wait till the next day to pick up my car. They ended up charging my twice as much as I was quoted with no financing options available to me. i hate to give a bad review over something that was so minor so take as you want and get your own service here and judge from there. Went on Saturday and needed to get my tire pressure corrected after the tire light came on and indicating low pressure. i asked a guy in the bay if i can get my tires filled and he said to go inside. i told him i just need the tires filled he said again go inside and I know it will be at least an hour wait. At that point i just left and went to a gas station and did it myself. Not sure if its me but i believe that i should be able to get tires filled a little quicker than that.
