Beware!!! worst place i have ever taken my care for brakes and rotors. Drew along with the rest of the crew aren't very knowledgeable about anything but the very basics. my car has hub rings and when i picked my car up they put the hub rings in my hand and said my car didn't need them. i left the place with my car barley drivable over 40 mph. when i called they refused to listen to my concern so i called corporate. corporate did nothing for me either so after 2 more weeks of not being able to drive my car i spent another 200$ at rpm and they put he hub rings on for me with out any issue and my car is now fine. go anywhere but this firestone you will regret it. I missed my appointment for an oil change and had to wait longer for my service. The wait was my bad but they were able to take me later in the day after I returned. The waiting area was clean, had comfy seats, DirectTV on the screen and a cool looking battery charging station for your phone(even though all the iPhone plugs were defective. There was also slightly antiquated mini coffee station which I didn't use. The service was definitely friendly and from what I observed, detailed analysis/follow up was given to customers regarding their vehicles. In the instances where the customers needed to go back to the car maker for service, Firestone was upfront about why and let the customers know how to do so. I'll be back again for my next oil change for sure. read more

They don't follow appointment times here at all for online bookings, so don't even bother. I made an appointment for 9AM for one flat repair and it wasn't even started when I arrived at 5PM. I waited an hour. When the service was finished, they brought the key up, and he ignored me for 20 minutes while he helped other people. I booked online and 4 hours later received an email that not only was my timeslot not available but the manger was almost laughing at me for thinking they would honor a timeslot booked on line. I was welcome, after moving around my whole day to accommodate my appointment, to come at 4 pm (my original time) and wait for 2-3 hours but they close at 7 pm and if they were not done I'd need to leave my car. Got a brake job done there. Cost about $450. Front pads, rotors, etc. After a few weeks I started to get shaking in my steering wheel when braking again (which was the original reason I had this job done. My rotors were shot.) I took it back to this Firestone to get the car reinspected and they told me there was no problem man! So I kept driving the car around. After about a month and a half I couldn't take it anymore and I had it looked at someone else. Cost me another $330 to put a new set of rotors on because the old ones were already warped. No more shake when braking! Never heard of rotors that die before 10k. In any event, wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I bought a lifetime alignment from Firestone and brought my car in to get it straightened out, giving them specific instructions to make sure the numbers are within the range they are supposed to be. The tech had no clue what he was doing, and did a terrible job. They didn't even try to change several parts of the suspension geometry that were out of spec. When I told the tech the issue, he refused to fix anything, and admitted he didn't touch multiple alignment areas. I bought a lifetime alignment from Firestone which is a complete waste of money, my car started pulling left which I didn't have before. They charged $500 for my Benz for the oil change and for checking all the other stuff but have done nothing. When I opened the bonnet I saw leaves all over, it's impossible to do service with our removing leaves which means they did nothing. They left all caps open, looks like they returned the car to me which was in the middle of the service. I am gonna open a dispute with the credit card company since they stole my money. read more

I went to this Lawrenceville, NJ location yesterday (12/4/20) after work to have new lug nuts put on my 2009 Lexus since Hector told me last month during tire rotation service that the old lug nuts were swollen and needed to be replaced. I asked Hector how much it would cost and he told me there would be no charge to put the new lug nuts on. So I got there early at 4:42pm on 12/4/20 (appointment was for 5pm) and I asked a different manager if putting on the new lug nuts which i had brought with me would still be free of charge. The manager onsite (a white male - not hector) responded that it would still be free of charge. I was the only customer in the waiting area. My car was taken into the bay area a little after 5pm and I could hear the tech working on it with power wrench and other tools. I got up at one point to check the progress of work through the glass window and the manager informed me that the tech is working on it. Around 5:45pm a white male customer came in to buy and replace tire on his car and he informed the manager that his appointment was for 6pm. About 40 minutes later (6:20pm), I started to wonder why it was taking so long just to take off old lug nuts and put on the new ones and I was already waiting more than 1hour and 30 minutes. I got up and noticed that the tech was returning the car, keys and paperwork for the white male customer who had arrived one hour after I had arrived and the work on this customer's car was completed. Since I was the only customer there before the arrival of this other customer and it was clear that the tech was moved to work on this other customer's car long after he had started working on my car, I felt hurt and disapointed. It took exactly two hours to replace lug nuts on my car because the work was interrupted. Over the years, I have spent thousands of dollars in preventive maintenance / repairs on my 2009 Lexus at Firestone, so I did not appreciate being treated differently because I was getting something done free of charge as a result of purchasing my tires from Firestone. I felt wronged and I just want to bring it to Firestone's attention that my time is just as important as the other customer's time. The other customer was in and out in approximately 40 minutes and I ended up waiting for two hours for a similar quick repair and I was there one hour earlier. No one wants to be treated differently and Firestone should know better. I recently started using this Firestone location because it is closer to work and I have a long drive to home. I was hoping to continue with future repairs at Firestone but I am not sure if I will continue based on this experience. Hector was very nice and courteous but this other manager was not and he treated me differently. If there is 0 star system, I would give these guys 0 star. Went there for complete break service, wiper change and break oil change. They told me it will be done in 4 hours. I told them I will need to pick up my kids from the school at 2 pm which is enough time for me to drive after getting the service is done. So I went to the mall in walking distance. After 4 hours, they never called me so I went back to the shop. they told me to wait little bit. I was waiting and keep asking for 2 1/2 hours later my car was done. They lie to me that it's being working. They didn't even start the job untill I went back to the shop and ask me to wait. So I spend 7 hours to wait, if they told me earlier I would get car service home and waited at home. Bunch of conartist. I have to go back a week later for side break was loose. When they did the break job, they did messed up side break and probably forgot to tighten up. No apologies from them. Two weeks later I have to bring it back for screeching noise from break. And they re-did two front break again with new parts. Of course waited tones of hours. I think they can't keep up with appt. Or promising finish job time. Because people bring it back from earlier service like me with big complain and somehow they need to squeeze in before regular appt. Customers. While I was waiting I saw a customer brought the car back with complaining. Now I know why I have to wait for 7 hours for 4 hours promising service job from last time. 6 months later, same bad screeching noise from other wheels. And close to one year now, nasty screeching sounds all four wheels that waking up entire neighborhood. I think they use cheapest parts they could get. I gave up. 1 month later, I brought my car to honda dealer for engine oil change and guess what they suggest me that I have to change my break oil. What? I told them I changed them 1 month ago from firestone. Honda told me that I don't think Firestone change the break oil at all. No signs of flushing it it's all dirty. So they charge me over one hundred some dollars for nothing? I'm very very angry at them. They are bunch of conartist. I would never ever go this place again. If the rating system would allow to give a 0 rating, it is the rating this Firestone would get from me for being dishonest and pushing on customers unnecessary repairs. My car needed to go through the NJ inspection for car emissions. Holes in my car exhaust needed to be welded. Firestone said that welding could not be performed because there were too many big holes in some sensitive parts of the car system. They proposed instead to change the entire system at a hefty price. The latter was higher than the residual value of my car. I went then to Midas without an appointment. They promptly welded the holes in my exhaust at a fair price. My car went through the NJ inspection successfully. Despite my bad experience at Firestone, my husband has still been making oil changes there. Their oil change process is faster than at Sears. My husband has been enjoying going to the nearby mall while they are maintaining the car. Oil change is the only service my husband has been trusting them to be able to perform. The store is clean. The people who work here seem honest, and, next to being skilled, honesty is the most important quality of a mechanic. Having spent much of my adult life being peddled a new air vent every 3,000 miles, it is a nice change to be able to get an oil change without the hassle of an up-sell. The other benefit of this approach is that when they do make a recommendation, I tend to accept the recommendation as being truly necessary. I gave four stars instead of five simply because it can take so very long. For my last oil change, I was there for 4 hours. I arrived at 6.45 am on Saturday morning, at 7, when they opened, I was fourth in line, and I didn't get my car until 11am. They do have a reservation system that I highly recommend. However, if, as in my case, the maintenance light comes on, necessitating a walk-in, you should be prepared to wait. Their website always has a coupon for an oil change, but it tends not to include the type of oil change they recommend for an SUV. It is not necessary to print out the coupon; you can just show them the coupon on your phone. They also have coupons for other services, so it is worth checking that out either while you wait or before you go in. read more

I went there today for an oil change. I had an appointment scheduled at 1 pm. Wthen I arrived they said it could take up to two hours because 2 technicians had called out. While I was not happy, I went over to the mall and killed some time. When I returned 1.5 hours later it was still not ready and they said they were working on it. I kept waiting and asking and they said there was nothing they could do to speed up the process. It ended up taking 2.5 hours with an appointment for a simple oil change! Please don't tell me that at most it will be 2 hours and then still keep me waiting. They also gave me a quote for 2 new tires for over $700! I was shocked. While I understand being short staffed due to covid and workers calling out, this is sill unacceptable. On the good side the customer service people were nice. I will not be back because I'm pretty sure from reading reviews this waiting time is a common problem. Firestone needs to do better! read more

I went there for a regular B car service and was quoted almost $500 and eventually around $400. If went there for a repair or redesign of my car, that price would have been fine. But this was the most expensive service B in my entire life and he blames it on alignment. For a Honda specialist I was totally disappointed, I was expecting an expert who works with the client not focuses on commission. Doesn't even deserve one star. Worst ever customer service that I have ever received. Expensive for the work they do. It's more than 30% extra from what it actually cost. Will never see this store or any firestone people again. I lost trust in their service and customer satisfaction at this place. My car wasn't running properly and when i showed them they told that my car was running on 2 cylinder instead of four. They charged for all new parts and fixed it. Drove it exactly 30 miles. It did stop in middle of Interstate during peak hours. I had to tow my car to near by mechanic. He did check thoroughly to find no issue except that they missed to fix a screw . He couldn't believe how car was running even for 30 miles. When i went back to firestone to report this. No one even took my compliant nor even listen to me. I bought 4 tires. The car came back with the step ledge black from grease and dirt (it's an SUV), the part that you step on to get into the drivers seat. They took about 20 minutes trying to scrub it clean, they didn't succeed in cleaning it. My Lexus dealer (it's a Lexus) cleaned it. One of the tires needed replacement after a sidewall flat. I brought it back to get the same kind of tire. I got the car back: the inside of the car was dirty (steering wheel, leather seat, car shifter) and the new tire was covered with dirt. I don't know how they manage to treat people (and their cars) like this. But they do. read more

Today, I found one of my car's tire has low pressure at Quaker Bridge mall parking lot, and I saw the there is a Firestone shop next to the mall. So I decided to walk in and let them check the tire for me. When I walked in, there were 3 service advisors standing there in the main reception room. It seemed like they are busy working behind their computer monitor. So I stand there right in front of them for about one minute. Surprisingly, none of them noticed my presence. (or may be pretend to ignore my presence?) Then, I try to talk to one of them, "Can I ask a question?". One of the advisor looked at me for one second and then continuing working behind his computer monitor. It seemed he did not want to talk to me. They told me that I have a service that was part of my tire purchase, but they ended up charging me extra. I will never go here again. Took my BMW 128i with 55k miles on it for oil change. A few weeks later I broke down 5 minutes from my house. Turns out an oil leak from the filter caused oil to damage one of the sensors. When I took the car to the BMW specialist, they showed me that oil filters were never changed, and there was no way new oil had been put into my engine. I really give people the benefit of the doubt, but this was above and beyond poor service. I will never return here, and I strongly discourage anyone from using their services. read more
