TERRIBLE. Absolutely terrible customer service, zero communication, cost of repair was MUCH more than what we were quoted, and my car was there for 13 days. Friday afternoon I took the car to Firestone in Little Elm to see why it wasn't blowing cold air. After a $39 diagnostic, I was told that it would be $1900 to replace the compressor and associated work. /vomit (Oh, and they also took the opportunity to try and sell me tires as well. Bringing their total suggested work to around $2500) Naturally I didn't have the money to pay for that, and since the weather is nice I had time to shop around. I picked my car back up and this morning took it to Kwik Kar Willow Bend in Plano. My wife has used these guys for years and trusts them implicitly. I wasn't convinced before, but I am now. I told them my tale of woe and Marvin went to work looking for what was wrong. About 45 minutes later he waves me out to the garage to show me that my AC is blowing cold again. I asked him what he did, and he said "Just a standard AC service, you only owe me $100". /faint So, Firestone tries to bilk me for $1900 and gets nothing for their trouble. I've had great experiences with Firestone in the past however I will not be coming back to this location. I brought my car in for a "check engine light". I get a call from the service manager saying that I have a vacuum leak in my intake manifold gasket and that both the upper and lower intake manifold gasket need to be replaced along with some spark plugs. He said doing this would fix the problem and resolve the "check engine light". He said the total cost of this work would be $1286.00. I told him that I would need to think about it since I had just done about $1300 worth of work on this vehicle a little less than a month ago and and wasn't sure if I wanted to more $ into a vehicle with 230k miles on it. I took the vehicle that same day to another mechanic for a second opinion . This guy hooked my car up to the scanner to identify what the "check engine light" error code was. He showed me that the issue was a bad engine coil. I left vehicle with him overnight to test again and he got the same results. He repaired the defective part for $120. I have been driving the car with no issues. $1286.00 vs $120.00. WOW! Either the techs Firestone Little Elm don't know what their doing and completely misdiagnosed my issue or they are in the business of ripping people off. Manager is an arrogant ass. Went in for a lifetime warranty from them and manager 1. Wouldn't rotate tires 2. Gave excuses on why he couldn't 3. Was not willing to find a solution kept saying I need to go somewhere else. All in all I felt unwelcome and felt like there was a very poor customer service. read more

Regardless of your appointment it will take you for ever to be serve and they will make sure you won't be back on the road safe and sound like the commercial implies I have came back 3 times already to fix a tire, just a tire. These dudes work off commission so of course they're going to find something "wrong" with your car. We went to get our tires done and they came back with a paper that said our car battery had 55 CCA when the rating should be 690 CCA so we went to Meineke and they told us the battery was a little low but not bad. Do not use firestone use Meineke, those dudes don't get paid by commission and while we were waiting to get our battery replaced he came to us and showed us the measurements and gave us the car back and saved us 200 dollars. read more

Anytime you have a nail in the tread and the tire is good, 9k miles on it, don't let them convince you to buy a new tire. I showed this manager the tire and immediately said not repairable. Had a flat tire, from a nail, on my new car. Drove it there about 3 miles on a flat tire and dropped it off. They called 3 hours later and said they couldn't fix it because it had Fix A Flat in it. I have had flats fixed before and never had an issue. I told them I would come wipe it out for them, because I could've drive the car. They said it was company policy not to fix it if it had Fix A Flat in it. Most absurd excuse I have ever heard. They actualIy tried to sell me a tire. I picked it up and drove it to Discount tire 1/4 of a mile away. They called and said I didn't have the key for the tire to unlock the tire. It didn't come with the car when I bought it. So I asked them to break it off. Needless to say, they called me an hour later for pick up. I went to pay for it, and the was ZERO charge. I couldn't believe it. They repaired my tire and broke the lock off. I asked them WHY there was no charge and they said, " Please buy your tires from us from now on. " Oh you bet your bootie I'll be buying my tires from them from now on! I have been using Firestone for 20 years! NEVER AGAIN! They would rather make a buck then help a helpless woman! I booked an appointment at 9am, I returned at 6pm on the same day and they have not even looked at my car yet. The apologized then said they could not do anything to my tires because they were too old. This car is 2 years old. They tried to sell me a new set of tires with "one of a lifetime" deal. Hard pass. Go here at your own risk. I took my car in for a oil change. They either replaced the oil filter with the same old one or damaged it; per the dealership I had to have it towed too. My car had zero oil in it. Thank God, I didn't drive it after the oil light came on. I had to put up a big fuss just to get a refund on the oil change I paid them for and the one I had to pay at dealership because it was not due. I don't recommend them. read more

The reason for the one star, is to warn people not to bring their automobile here for repairs not only have I had substandard service here but also the employees here working the front desk are so very rude this is the second time I walk in the shop and I am ignored there was an employee at one of the desks and he completely ignored me he was not on the phone it was a Hispanic guy so I stood there I said hello he said hello back and went on to do whatever he was doing then a black guy bald-headed walks in looks at me looks away and goes and does whatever it is he's doing at his desk both of them completely ignoring me I stood there 20 minutes and decided to walk out and not give them my business or my money anymore and I wanted to put this out there for all of Little Elm residents so that they are not subjected to the poor service on their vehicles and the poor customer service.. They have very bad service here and will definitely try to rip you off. It took them 3 days to even look at my car and never even called me to let me know that there was a delay. I had to call them to ask when it was going to be done multiple times and they just forgot about it. When they finally did they told me they couldn't diagnose the problem until i had my battery replaced (which i doubted) but i had them replace the battery and they told me it was the brake light switch. They tried to charge me 80 dollars for the part and 80 for labor. I went to the auto-zone next door and got the part for 31 dollars and replaced the part myself by watching a YouTube video. It is just plugged in right underneath the steering wheel and took about 5 minutes to replace. So apparently since its 80 dollars for 5 minutes of labor they value labor at 960 dollars per hour. Thats being generous since i was able to to it in 5 minutes with no experience with cars and they do this all the time. I will never be going to this location again and highly recommend that you find a more trustworthy place to go. read more

Save yourself a headache and just don't go. We went to get 1 tire replaced and an oil change and they completely messed that up. We had 1 tire that was bald and 3 tires previously replaced by the dealership (still new) well these geniuses took my new tire off and replaced my new tire with another new tire and left the bald one on. So we had to wait to have them correct it and find the tire they took off. We asked a couple of times if they balanced the front tire since they took it off...yes was the answer. Surprise surprise! No, on the tollway in my SUV shaking so now I'm paying out of pocket to get them balanced. NEVER AGAIN. read more

If I was able to leave less than 1 star I would. We have had 2 poor experiences with this location in the past month. The first time the technician tried to scam us by scratching out the mileage on our oil change sticker, and tried to get us to do an oil change. Today, we dropped our vehicle off to replace a tire (purchased 2 new ones today) and we're told that our car would be ready by noon. At 5:30 pm, our car is still on the rack and estimated to be done by 6:30 pm. If we hadn't purchased a whole tire package from them, then we would not return, and certainly won't return again once the package expires. read more

I like consistency - I've had multiple oil changes here and every time I have a competitor coupon they match the price. But today BIG BAD CHAD decided that it was a questionable method and didn't want to continue doing what has been done by his manager for sometime. In the end he matched the price but he decided to analyze the coupon...lol. I don't have a problem going elsewhere - is what BIG BAD CHAD doesn't realize. You have no leg to stand be consistent. You've been taking the coupons forever so just decide on your own that you don't feel like it anymore....especially when in the end you're going to honor it anyways. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this place. It could be a matter of life and death!! I usually get my tires from Discount Auto. I burn a lot of highway and expect to replace my tires every year, seriously, I do a lot of driving. Earlier this year it was time to replace my tires but discount didn't have them so I went over to firestone. They are less than a mile away from one another. If I would've known what I know now I would've drove to the Colony's Discount then give my business to these people. They supposedly gave me the same type of tire that I buy from Discount Tire. However after driving off I noticed my car trembling. I drive a Cadillac CTS and with new Discount Tires it floats! So when I noticed the shake I turned around and had them check. It took about 20 minutes for them to come back and say it was fine just drive it for a couple of days and if it doesn't stop bring it back. Okay say what now?? Brand new tires and I was told to drive the tremble out?? So after a few days I knew something was not right. I took my car back to this Firestone location and asked them to drive it. They drove it and came back and said their calibrator was off and yes the tires needed to be balanced. They balanced the tires and sent me home with a slight tremble. I drove it with a tremble for a couple of months annoyed but not wanting to go back a third time. After about 3 months I took it to the Firestone in Frisco but was told at 10:00 am they were booked for the day and asked to come back the next day. Wow! Well I didn't go back the next day but noticed on my way to San Antonio the tremble stopped. Mind you this is 3 or 4 months later. Fast forward to two days ago I noticed my front driver side tire was low. I stopped to put air in it but noticed it almost flat the next day. I used my home air pump and placed enough air in it to get me up the street to Firestone. I told the tech that I needed my tires rotated and that the driver side had a leak. After an hour and a half the guy comes to tell me my brake lights aren't working and that my alignment was bad so I would need two new tires. I felt like it was an upsale so I declined the new tires. Plus why would I dare buy new tires from them when it took 3-4 months for my car to drive decent with the tires I purchased 6 months ago. Anyway the tech said ok and pulled my car out. On yesterday I had a blow out getting on 121 with my kids in the car. It was the same driver side tire that Firestone placed air in but didn't plug the leak or rotate, or suggest putting the spare on. Bottom line Firestone didn't rotate my tires as requested. Didn't show me how bad off the tires where, which tire shops usually walk you back to your car to show you the damage and severity of the tire. Not these guys. In my naive college years I have even had techs refuse to place a tire back on my car because it was to damaged. Instead they offer to put the spare on, which I had. Oh no not Firestone. They placed some air in the tire and sent me on my way. So I would highly suggest you go somewhere else before giving your money to these callus people. read more

He was able to get the tires same day (I called at 11:30AM and they were ready by 3:00PM) but opted to meet him the next day, Sunday. I came in at 11:30 and by 2:00PM my new Potenza S-04's were mounted and balanced. Chad not only delivered another quality experience, my third with him, but also price matched a very competitive price, and was able to deliver me the best price including warranty around. Decided to give them another chance. I was wrong. Took my 2013 Explorer in for an oil change and state inspection. They left the hood opened in the parking lot. Residual oil dripped in my garage too. $93!!!! Right now I am at a place getting my oil changed and a state inspection on my other vehicle and it's only going to be $58. Fraudulent at best. I had a lifetime alignment for my car. I took it in and they said there was 'play' in the rods. They said they couldn't complete my lifetime alignment until I repaired the rods (estimate = ~$340) And I JUST had an oil change done at the Honda DEALER that SAME DAY. Part of the dealer's routing is to do a full-inspection of the car. The dealer said there were no problems and it was running great. I went for a third opinion at Christian Brother's Automotive (down the street). A former Honda technician confirmed there was nothing wrong with the play or rods. Avoid at all costs. Go to dealer or Christian Brothers Automative (at least they're honest). read more

Tried to get a flat tire fixed with 20k miles on it & was told the nail on it caused too much damage and therefore I would need to buy a new tire. Advised them that I would buy one at a later date. Well...I took it to NTB (where I originally purchased the tire) and they pulled out the nail and fixed it. They told me nothing wrong with the tire and the small nail on it was not a big deal even though Firestone said it was not fixable. Nice try Firestone ..... Took my car in for an oil change/tire rotation, which took over SIX hours! They didn't even rotate my tires! They over filled my oil and I now have oil all over my garage floor. The courtesy check is suppose to include checking all fluid levels. My windshield wiper fluid was returned as empty as when I dropped off my car. And to top it off, they didn't even change the reminder decal on my windshield. This is the second time I have had issues with this location. I will NO LONGER be a Firestone customer! read more

This store used to be pretty good in the past, especially when a senior gentleman was working here. He is truly caring and knowledgeable. Since then, I gradually brought all of my car cares to this store, either a major or a minor issue. They always took good care of it or at least tried their best to help. Recently, I was so sad to find that the store changed the manager, who is very rude and hard to communicate -- would not even have the patience to listen to a customer's sincere explanation. First, he pretended he did not have the previous record. When I provided my copy that was given by the store, he changed to another excuse. The price is in mess too: within the same hour, he quoted four different prices for the same service, though he repeatedly said that he was using the same coupon, and to all customers. read more

Can I give this negative stars?!Manny, the manager of this store is messed up. I had a nail in one tire and he said I needed to replace two tires. As far as I was concerned. Only one tire was leaking air. Then he charged me uncessary stuff like roadside protection that I don't need but he said it's required. I made an appointment at 5:30 and I showed up 9 minutes late, I sat there until 8:30. I was looking at the total and it was 500 for 2 lowest grade tires, an inspection, and fixing my headlight. That is ridiculous. The worst part was, he thought he was being friendly by talking to me and trying to give me a "friendly discount" but I'd rather just walk away! He then gave me his card with his cell phone and kept telling me to call him multiple times so he can hook me up with someone else who can fix my LED headlight for cheaper. Claiming that it has an electrical issue. He then asked me to go eat with him afterwards. That's unprofessional. Just because I'm a woman who walks in auto shop, doesn't give him the right to rip me off and hit on me. Worst experience ever. I ended up getting charged $234 for 2 lowest grade tires but only one had a nail in it. Lesson learned! I should have yelped this place before coming here. read more

I was advised that the quality of service would be the best in the area but could possibly be a little more expensive (you get what you pay for, right?). But I was pleasantly surprised with what I got (great service but also great price). They gave me an accurate and honest estimate before starting work on my car. They were very professional and nice. I took my car in to get an oil change and state inspection done. They said I had a nail on all four of my tires and 3 of them were not able to be fixed. I would have to purchase at least 3 new tires. I had warranties at Discount Tire so I decided to take it there to get a second opinion. They checked and rechecked my tires...there were NO nails in ANY of my tires. Not a single one. I missed work and had a friend drive out of their way to give me a ride when I couldn't have been saved the trouble if Firestone would have been honest. This is such a dishonest place.
