Needed him to replace a oil sensor on a Mazda Miata asked him if I need to get the part. Then day before tells me he can't get the part and I should get it at dealership. I then drove to get the part for him. He then said he will be there in 20 minutes my guardhouse called and I didn't get it, he texted he couldn't get in, I called the guardhouse to let him in and he just left and blocked my phone number. My car would not start. I figured it was a dead battery but since it is a 2004 Prius, it could have been another system. After a quick test, MJ showed me that test readout which indicated that the small battery needed to be replaced. At his suggestion, I called the parts store and got a quote on a battery replacement. MJ went and got the new battery and replaced the old one. Worked like a charm. No other issues with the car. One telling note: I misheard the price quoted battery price from the store. When it came time to settle the total bill, MJ told me price and it was lower than I expected. He told me the correct amount. Had he gone with my misheard amount, he could have walked away with a lot more money. He is an honest service provider. I would use his services again and would highly recommend him. read more

I brought my Chevy Equinox to MJ Saturday evening to do a diagnostic test because my check engine light was on, and it was causing me to fail the state inspection. MJ performed the diagnostic for free and provided me a PDF of the report via email. He gave me a quote for the part and labor, which was very reasonable. Turns out, it was a camshaft issue, which is part of the engine control module on the state inspection. I came back today to have the issue repaired. MJ was able to replace the part and resolve the issue in under 1 hour. The check engine light is gone and the car runs very smoothly. I've attached a screenshot of the issue for your reference. Very fast response. He was very polite and trustworthy. When you speak with him you will see what I mean. He diagnosed the brake problem and told us what he thought it could be (which could have been many different things with our brake issue). He could have done a repair and charged us for something that did not need to be repaired, but he was honest and told us we were welcomed us to shop around for solutions and prices and come back to him if he was able to offer a lower price for what we needed. He did not charge us a diagnosis fee. He was polite and honest, and because of this I will definitely be using him in the future for all of our auto repair needs. I had done some research on how to DIY headlight restoration... and then found MJ Mobile Headlight Restoration in Facebook Marketplace... I figured by the time I had purchased all of the materials needed to do it right.. I would have spent more than the $40 that he charges for both lights! (on location.... $50 for mobile)... luckily he lives just up the street from my home in Plano/Frisco area.... what is even better is that it only took about an hour... plus he adds a ceramic coating and a one year warranty against them fading right back out in the sunlight... I would give a hundred stars if it was available. For years I've been driving with VERY foggy headlights. My husband tried DYI with kits from the store. No luck. Recently had a 620 mile trip, put in bright white headlamps in hopes they'd somehow penetrate thru the thick haze on headlight covers. Not only did they not, it was worse!
