We brought my wife's car to Firestone Complete Auto Care for a deep scraping noise that turned out to be a wheel bearing issue. This was a scheduled 9:00 appointment and we didn't hear from them until almost 6:00. The biggest issue here is pricing and professionalism. They tried to quote nearly $1,200 to replace a wheel bearing. That same job can be done almost anywhere else for MAYBE $500 and $600 at the absolute high end. The quote felt completely disconnected from reality. What made it worse was the experience after we told them we'll do the service elsewhere. While waiting, it took them nearly an hour just to bring the car down. During that time, multiple employees were sitting around in plain view on their phones. Not working. Not communicating. Just scrolling. No manager involvement because honestly, what would be the point. The core problems here are inflated pricing, poor time management, and a lack of basic professionalism. I wish I could give negative stars for this business. First of all, I dropped off my car with a slow-leaking tire around 10am and did not hear back until 4pm only to find out - 1. my tire is not repairable due to nail also having punctured the sides --this is a lie (1) because I had my car towed to my house and the person to towed it said it was completely fixable since nail was in the middle of the Trea. 2. my treads are low so I need to also replace the other back tire for a total of $1000. --this is a second like since my car only had 30k miles and my treads were just fine. So walked in, got my keys and left... at least "air is free" which I filled up my tire so I could head over to Preston Tires in McKinney where I was promised my tire would be patched up in 15 minutes and it would only cost me $20. WHAHT?!?!??! It turned out to be completely true. I drove 30 minutes from Prosper to McKinny and boy, Princeton Tires were amazing. They are just cranking out tire repairs like they were making tacos at a taco stand. No joke, no kidding. This is the place for all tire issues going forward. So the lesson is.... These guys are complete crooks. Make it out to Preston Tires and forget all this BS. read more

I dropped my car off on Sunday night. I spoke with a Tech about getting my tires replaced. He said he would call me back, once he looked at my other 2 tires to try to get a comparable pair. I never received the call. I had to call back. When I called back, another Tech placed an order for me to have 2 new tires installed on Tuesday-early. He assure me that the tires would be placed on my vehicle that Tuesday. I told him I would pick up my car on Wednesday. When I arrived, the tires were not on the car. I had someone drop me off, had to be in a meeting in 15 min, and had to travel downtown for training the next day. The service manager was upset, but never apologized for the mistake. This was frustrating. I ended up calling to complain to the corporate office. read more

They are incompetent and they are crooks! After a $17K estimate to replace the engine for a 2019 Rogue that couldn't be sold for that amount of money, we took it to the Nissan dealer. They replaced the ECU fuel computer for $2K. read more

Stopped by, no appointment, and wanted an inspection done. The employee was very helpful and nice. Took care of me right away and got me out in no time. Even saw how he handled the person ahead of me. Very nice to him as well. I definitely recommend this location. read more

Terrible customer service. They are misleading and will try to bait and switch you. I called ahead and asked how long an oil change would take. The lady told me 30 minutes and I asked really, are you sure? She reassured me that they could get it done. I went in for my appointment and found out it would take over 2 hours. Crazy how they lie to get you to bring your car up. Don't trust these people with your car or time. read more

Took my truck here at 8:30 to get a flat tire plugged and patched. 2 hours later, still here waiting for them to finish and get it done. So if your time is worthless this is your place. $20 dollars of work that has taken over 2 hours to complete. I asked if it was going to be completed today or if I needed to call into work for the day and their response was "we're trying to save you from having to buy a new tire." Really?!? Like I didn't bring my truck in with a flat asking for a repair/patch to avoid having to buy a new tire, like I didn't know what I was doing in the first place? They significantly dented my rear passenger quarter panel, scratched up all of my wheels more than any other place in my 20+ years of driving (I have hand washed my cars every week for the last decade or so and have paid attention to this with all other forms of car service), and to top it all off they didn't even bother to replace my valve stem caps. Scheduled an appointment online at Firestone (1351 US Hwy380 Frisco, Tx 75033) 3/28/22 to have my brakes checked at 7:00am on 4/2/22. I dropped my truck off on 4/1/22 at 6:45pm. Take my key inside, verified appointment. The guy said, "Were really busy so, it might not get done till late in the day." I said, "But, it will get done?" "Yes", he said. The next day (4/2) I call at 3pm, because I have heard nothing all day. Guy says, "Sorry, really busy, short-handed and we won't be able to get to it today. We will be able to get done tomorrow." Very inconvenient, but ok, I don't have to have it until Monday. Next day (4/3) I call to see what going on at 1pm, because I have heard nothing all day. Guy puts me on hold for a minute, then says he will call me back. Nothing. Call back at 2pm. Guy ask "What vehicle is yours? What are we looking at? Who did you give your key to? Can you describe him?" I am beyond frustrated. So, I ask, "Will you be able to get to my truck today?" Guy says, "No". I say, "I'm going come and get it." Guy says, "We don't have the ticket and don't know where your key is. Let me call you back in a few minutes. I show up at 4pm and give my name, guy pulls the ticket and says "We weren't able to get to it. I say "I know, I just want the key." Guy gives me the key and turns around walks back into the garage area, without another word. No explanation, no apology and no accommodation. Horrible communication.
