They gave me a pretty good discount considering I had to spend quite a bit!!! There was not a single person that I came in contact with that was not polite and even cordial. I went in for an oil change and they noticed my steering wheel fluid was leaking. They did a free diagnostic and found the leak. DJ capped it off and gave me an update on what I needed to do next. I also went back as I was having an issue with the engine. Come to find out it's the transmission. DJ was kind and very clearly explained my issues in both cases. I really appreciated that there was no pressure to get anything fixed today!!!! As a single woman it is nice to have a mechanic just fix what needs to be fixed and to tell you what is broken without trying to sell you or lie to you. Yesterday I was at a different location and had a horrible experience. I was trying to get my A/C charged up at the Forest Hill location. It was pretty close to closing time, though they had enough time to just charge the system up for me. They must-managed their time and didn't utilize things as they should have. I didn't get the A/C charged because the guy was in the office and they did the oil changed. Which was just an extra since they said they would do the A/c system. I left that location pretty mad and upset because I was lied to. The manager over there didn't want to do anything to make it right except bring it back in the following day. Anyways, after wasting a couple hours trying to get the A/C charged up at a few other places today, Tue Good Lord forced me to come back to Express Oil Change for a serving of crow. I refused to go back to the other place and came here. Though I had a good heaping plate of crow for coming here due to the last review I have them, I didn't have the full serving for going back to them. I'm posting on Big Brothers establishment to say that Express Oil Change made them situation right and corrected the little brothers mistakes. I highly recommend this location. He provided me the list of things needed to keep my car running well but what I loved mostly is not once did he try & pressure me to purchase more. I have been coming here just being a student in town. I love how quick and affordable the service is. Some days you even get coupons for a free car wash down the street. I believe they still do a ladies day where there is a discount on oil changes. Overall, I don't have any complaints about the service or pricing. I think the one downside is waiting inside for long mechanic repairs is not the coziest. read more

I came in for a quick oil change and that's exactly what happened!! The oil change was incredibly quick and clean and I didn't even have to leave my car. My technician was Amara and she was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind and sweet and explained everything she did in a way I could easily understand. Another thing I really loved is that she let me know what needed to be done in the car for the future but didn't touch or charge for anything I didn't agree to first. The service was very fairly priced for everything you get. I have a Jeep Renegade and I never let other people work on it, but due to a time crunch I had to and I was so impressed. Short version: Stellar service with great workers who are enthusiastic to share their knowledge and are very professional. For a synthetic oil change (0W-20), I paid $62.28 (please refer to the picture for verification). I would highly recommend this location to anyone who needs work on their car, and I definitely plan on returning again! Pros: ****if you call ahead and ask for an estimate for known repairs, you will know exactly what you plan on paying for (for ex: oil change)****, professional, knowledgeable, will accept reservations for *almost all* services, great estimates for how long your repairs should take, you are greeted from the start and the staff work hard to ensure that you are always informed with what repairs are being done at the time and which ones may be needed sooner or later (giving both mileage vs. months) Cons: do not accept reservations for oil changes at this time, so oil changes are first come first served (BUT! I was able to go early on a Friday morning, and was informed that it should take around 15 mins and it did!) ========================================================== Longer version: I called ahead for an estimate for an oil change and was able to speak with Kevin, the store manager, who truly made me feel as though they would take great care of my car and gave me an exact estimate for the synthetic oil change (using 0W-20) as $62.28 (a $5 discount was given as I am a new customer on my first visit!). Kevin also informed me that I would be greeted and guided throughout my entire experience. When I arrived to the Log Cabin location, I noticed there were 2 hubs on the left hand side of the lobby and 3 on the right. I was greeted and asked about which repairs I was looking for today. I was instructed to head over to the right side where they would take care of my oil change. I did ask for Kevin to see if he was available, but I was told that Kevin was working on another car at the time. Nonetheless, I was taken care of immediately by other crew members. After filling out a new customer info sheet, my car was serviced by Glenn, the hood tech, and his co-worker, "MW" the pitt tech, who both did a great job! I chose to stay with my car during the visit, and I was astounded by the amount of information that Glenn was willing to share during my visit. He also walked me through a 2 page info packet which showed the status of many parts for my car and informed about the recommendations for now and for later along with the costs for each. ****Before finalizing the transaction, Glenn came around and showed me the dipstick for the oil and I personally was able to see that yes, fresh oil had been put in, and yes, the oil level was at the new high. This was very surprising to me as I have never had a technician at the repair location verify with me on-site that I was satisfied with my oil change (and I am guilty of pulling off to the side to personally check the dipstick myself after oil changes!) It was refreshing to see that the technicians were confident with their work and willing to show the customer prior to requesting payment!**** After paying, I was given my receipt and a guide flyer as to how to write a review too. I was guided out of the hub and out in about 15 mins! With how well I was taken care of today, I can only thank the technicians at Log Cabin with continuing to be a customer and hoping to bring more with the well-deserved 5/5 star review! read more

It was great because it was quick! Took maybe 20 minutes whereas you go to Raffields or almost anywhere else you have to get out of your car and wait an hour or 4- I can't stand it. I was able to stay in my car, they told me everything they were doing and such- I thought the total would be around $70 because I also got a new air filter and it ended up being $112 which seemed like a lot, but everyone says that's affordable- I just thought affordable was like $50 lol. Overall- it's a pretty decent place for a quick oil change. First timers also get a 5-$10 discount so that's always nice read more

I was nervous because car places are deemed so untrustworthy and as being a young lady I found myself to be an easy target but man was I right to go here. They were amazing! So polite and sweet and they got everything I needed done very efficiently and I was on my way in no time! There was no upselling and I even got a welcome package with lots of coupons. My trusty helper was very honest with me and had a lot of great knowledge to share. IQ literally was less than 17 at best. Can't change a lightbulb on a tag light. That was a literal statement. Something I could have easily done myself I trusted them to do and they broke it. Had to order a new one and didn't take but a couple of percent off the final ticket which included an oil change. Best advice is don't use chain operations for car maintenance. Just go find a local service station that knows what they're doing and spend your money local. Last time I ever take a chance on a chain just for convenience sake. You hire crap, you get a crap reputation that simple. read more

There isn't a 0 star on here if not I'd use it. I had 2 major trips this year and I took my Audi to get an oil change and service. Cost around $200 and I was happy to pay but yesterday my oil light came on and it said I'm missing more than half my oil. My husband takes a look and sees they forgot to screw some of the screws and it was leaking oil. We never noticed bcuz the car has like a protector at the bottom so dirt and other stuff doesn't get in the engine so it was all getting stuck and absorbed by the cushiony thing that's there. I have spent all afternoon trying to clean the oil out. And now we have to get another oil change. I will never be going here again and I will never recommend anyone else for that matter.
