I found myself with a nail in my tire this week. Ugh! On a Monday morning. Double ugh! Luckily, I caught it before it flattened my tire. I stopped at the nearest auto shop, which happened to be the Firestone (next to Chick fil A) on Roswell Rd. I pulled up to see all the bays filled with cars, so I expected a long wait. To my surprise, I was in and out in 90 minutes. I paid $31 to have the tire repaired. I consider that a good value. And I was pleased with the turnaround time. Flat tires are not only inconvenient, but they can also be dangerous. I was very grateful Firestone got me fixed and back on the road in no time flat (pun intended, I couldn't help it!). My daughter dropped her car off in the morning to diagnose a specific issue. No one called her with an update, so she had to call late that afternoon. Instead of addressing the original problem, they listed several unrelated issues and said they still needed to run another test to diagnose what she actually brought the car in for. She agreed, and they said it would be done first thing the next morning. Once again, no call. She contacted them after lunch and was told they were just then running the test. A couple of hours later, they finally provided a diagnosis. She declined the repair and went to pick up her car, only to find they charged her $111 in diagnostics that she never authorized. When she asked for the charges to be removed, the store manager insisted she had approved it. He refused to escalate the issue, saying there was no one else to contact, and eventually gave her a generic Firestone customer service number that disconnected when she called. My family has been customers at this location for years, and there are good people who work here. Unfortunately, this experience was handled so poorly that I will never return--and I strongly recommend avoiding this location. read more

Super thoughtful group of folks at this location. I brought my car in for a same-day alignment, they made me an appointment with no issues. Since it was on jacks for the past week or so the tires had lost pressure. They filled them up without even asking, free of charge. I had also asked if they could fix my brake dust shield since they always get bent and make a nasty scraping sound by the time I finish working on my suspension, they bent it back away from the rotor as well after I told them not to worry about it (didn't want them having to take the wheel off just for that). They went above and beyond today, good attitude and thoughtful service. This location has always been top notch for me. The other one on Roswell Rd closer to the highway, not so kind. Definitely choose this one by Johnson Ferry! Rides like a dream! read more

dont ever come here at all. they put the wrong parts on my car and farther damaged my car. the "manager" amanda did nothing but say, "oh im sorry" and smiled. so my car doesnt work anymore and its causing me more to fix it. the techs arent skilled in anything but tires and oil changes so this place isnt complete auto care. its just a tire change place. the management is refusing to refund me or pay for my damages. i stayed up there for 12 hours on a friday and my car stopped moving. ive been paying for lyfts and i had to pay for tows...this place is a mess...they will treat your car like a diy project and it will cause you double to fix it. ordering and putting in the wrong parts and trying to rig up your car to make 1500 is corporate greed edited It's been almost a week and nothing I was told that their would be a wire transfer but nothing, someone was suppose to come check out my car before the other mechanics start working on it but nothing...THIS PLACE IS FULL OF CORPORATE GREED please don't come here they ruined my Porsche Cayenne and my life I will have to shovel thousands of dollars that was stolen from me by Amanda and her team at firestone... please save yourself hours hours and days and days go somewhere else. My complaint is the service. I had made an appointment (Thur it was supposed to be) and after I had been there for a couple hours, I was told they couldn't work on my car because the tech was working on another ticket and wouldn't have time to work on my car. I was asked if I could move my appointment to Mon and was promised that the tech would have more time to work on my vehicle. I was scheduled for 7:00. After sitting for 3 hours I have been watching my car and the tech had worked on it for a little bit and then for 2 hours it wasn't worked on. I don't think the techs concentrate on just one vehicle and fill like they book all these appointments and take turns working on cars. Most of their techs have left and that says a lot. read more

Zero stars was not an option, so I reluctantly had to increase it to 1 star. We recently took our car in to the Firestone at 4219 Roswell Road in Marietta for an oil change. We're now due for the next one, and we took it to a different place. We were told that during the previous oil change, the drain plug was overtightened to the point that, in order to get the plug out, the oil pan would likely be damaged. This would cause us to have to replace the entire oil pan on our 2020 vehicle. Additionally, the oil filter was tightened to the point that it had cracked. A second oil change facility told us the same news, independently. After contacting Firestone, they would only agree to cover any costs if we brought the vehicle back to them, which is not something that I'm willing to risk. This is a simple task that they screwed up and is now going to potentially cost me a lot of money. I'm not sure how they cracked the oil filter, but as for the drain plug, If I had to guess, they were lazy and used a pneumatic impact wrench to re-install it. These plugs only require 25 lb-ft of torque. There are many better options in our area. I'd suggest looking around. read more

Poor showing. I've taken my car to this location before a few times without problem. Today, not so much. These guys left grease all over my car. Then when I ask to get something to clean it off, I got a hard time about it. The tech said "oh it's been there...don't know what to tell you bro." Good customer service. Not to mention I get 3 calls ole I bring it in for an oil change and bake pads that I need 2 front tires, then 4 tires, then an alignment. Crazy right? Overall- beware. read more

Thank goodness, a tire place that actually has longer hours on Sundays. Granted, they are open until 5pm on Sundays versus the 6pm listed here. Only two guys working here today and they are absolute troopers. Despite the fact that the parking lot is full, they have been keeping up with the customers. Both gentlemen have been incredibly nice and Eric especially was very helpful, listening to all of my concerns and making sure to reassure me. I came in specifically because I picked up a screw in one of my tires and it was flat. On a day when I have to move between apartments. Not good timing. I am so glad that I decided to bring my car here. They are fixing my tire and putting it back on as I am typing this review and it is only going to set me back about $20. A bargain to get me back on the road and moving. Long story short, I will absolutely be bringing my car back here for any similar concerns and would recommend this place to anyone. I was visiting from out of town and was towed to this location. I frequently use local Firestones for routine maintenance and tires in Greenville, SC and usually have great experiences. These guys are shady. Kept my car for 4 days for an unnecessary repair that they claimed my 'shade tree' mechanic messed up. Returned home to my mechanic to ask for money back and he proved they did not do the repair I paid for. Had to rent a car to send my family home and stay 2 additional days to wait for repairs. Had a problem with my brakes, I initially took my car to the other Firestone location but had to take it somewhere else because they were charging me an arm and a leg. I happen to find this particular Firestone location. It's much cheaper and has better customer service. Steve was very helpful, I was able to use a coupon with no hassle whatsoever. Service is good but its a business and they will try to up sell you on services. Most are ones you need anyway but you'll always be caught off gaurd by this up sell and think you need it if your not car savy. Most of the people are friendly. There is one Guy, the manager I think, who is really nice but everytime my wife and I are there he says inappropriate things. Not bad things but asks or says stuff that you wouldn't expect a stranger to say. In the long run its a great neighborhood shop to get an oil change, tire rotation and other small things but anything bigger I only trust a dealer. Places like Firestone replace parts with cheaper ones (unless you ask) and that may bring you back to fight with them about warranty work and trust me they will fight. To me its just business and I wont hold that against you but it has been my experience that they do just as good major work as a dealer but don't stand by their work nearly as well. read more

Been here twice now to pick up two tires each time. Close, fast, and reasonable, if not cheap. Think of it as kinda a split the difference between a dealer and an independent shop. Once your car cycles out of warranty -- and particularly if a dealer is too far away -- might be a good option for stuff beyond oil changes/bulb replacements, which your basic Jiffy Lube across the street can handle. They do give you some upsell on various flushes/bushings wear-and-tear stuff that is really not mission critical. You just need to know if your brake pads are still good, fluids OK, and if your alignment is fine. read more

I went in March 2019 and waited for an hour and 30 minutes, even though I had an appointment for a 45 minute oil change,. I had another dreadful experience today after I called and made an appointment. I waited over an hour and thirty minutes and the oil change had not begun! Also, the price quoted on the phone was $20.00 less then the price Sandra ( the mgr) quotes me when I arrived. I expressed my frustration about the poor Customer service. The employees nor Sandra Rivera, the manager seem to care. I was told there was no upper management other than Stan who was not there today and there were no corporate office numbers. I had the worst customer service experience at this Firestone location that I have ever had.. I brought my car in to Firestone for parts and service with the expectation that once the work was completed , I would have a vehicle that was properly diagnosed and tested for my driving safety. This was not the case. On the same day I picked up and paid Firestone $1253.00 dollars for the service , I drove my car 20 miles mostly on the expressway 285 and the car started shutting down. I barely made it off the highway before the car became undriveable . I could have been seriously injured. I had my car towed back to Firestone and was told by the store manager that the problem would be taken care of. The problem was not corrected. The next day the store manager said he couldn't get the right parts and to come get my car. I told him that the car had not been throughly tested for safety nor properly diagnosed. The car only lasted 45 minutes and 20 miles after I drove off the Firestone lot. I asked for a refund and was told by the manager that no refund or compensation would be given. This Firestone location lacks the Integrity to stand behind their work and accept accountability for the work they did not complete . I had service here the middle of March. They stained my drivers side seat with grease because the tech did not cover the seats like every other place does. The tech also wore greasy gloves while working on the inside of my car so now I have dirty windows and grease on my seat belts. I believe they replaced light bulbs that were good and charged me but it was the brake switch which was bad. I contacted their customer affairs dept numerous times and I have yet to talk to anyone in corp about this. Their customer affairs dept cannot do anything for you except take a message, that is not customer service. The worse service ever and they certainly do not take responsibility for the service they do provide or should I say lack of service. I just left my Audi - I called ahead for a tire service. They said they could do it today. I arrive 15 mins later and they told me they can't do it today and they do not have the tire! Because my car is dangerous to drive as is, I can't bring it much further. Despite that they suggest I drive it somewhere else (note that I have a tire warranty with them and not with other places). I ask them if they can at least take 3 mins to help me change the tire to the spare tire, they say they are too busy I finally have to leave it there just for them to change a tire! I have been a customer there for 7 years and they ask me for $10 to change the tire tomorrow morning! Employees changed. Past employees were much much nicer. Do not take the car there ever. I went in for a tire rotation under my tire service plan. My car was immediately taken in and work began even though most of the bays were filled. (Enough mechanics/techs on duty). I also asked for the brakes to be checked and the coolant system checked for leaks. All this was done and a very fair estimate for coolant system repairs was given in less than an hour. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! I dropped my car off today to have my ac checked. Number 1, the girl at the front was not helpful at all and had no idea what she was talking about, not to mention ZERO professional manners. Number 2, they did an inspection check and said the engine was "completely covered in oil and didn't want to do anything"... When I picked up my car the same girl had no idea what happened and proceeded to charge us $100. We looked at our engine before we left the parking lot to find that there wasn't one drop of oil anywhere and MY caps were missing from my ac. When i asked where my caps were they said the mechanic was gone for the day and they didnt know where he was. Bottom line absolutely nothing was done and no one knew anything for $100. Scheduled an appt on Thursday to replace 2 tires on Saturday for noon. Dropped car off 11:30. At 4 pm still hadn't worked on car. Told us they got behind and we could take car somewhere else. Dropped my car off at 10:30am for a basic full synthetic oil change. I work right beside them and periodically checked to see if my car was being worked on. Around 3pm I decided to walk over to see if my car had been worked on. Manager proceeded to tell me that they were trying to reach me (didn't receive one call from them) to see if I could come back Monday. My car sat for 5+HRS with no update. I decided to do the oil change myself which was $20 cheaper, id advise NOBODY to go here and do business. read more

A few days ago, on a Sunday night, my battery and brake light came on and I found out my AC/Alternator belt was completely missing/must have broken off. I went online to Firestone's website and made an appnt. for the next morning/Monday morning. Eric (can't remember the last name) called me around 6a to confirm my appnt. The next available was for 10am but he said to bring my car at 7a so they could try and fit me in even before 10am. I go to leave to go to Firestone and my car is literally working from my battery at this point (since belt is off) and my car stopped working on the way to the Firestone location (location is only 3 miles away from my home). I call Eric and he's SUPER calm and very helpful. He recommends tow trucks their location has worked with before. I call and get a GREAT experience from Alpha Towing. Let me tell you, I've had AAA before and they take about a day to show up AND I have to be there w/ my car. Alpha Towing was SO nice and let me leave my car keys under the mat while my boyfriend picked me up. Towing truck took no time to arrive --- super fast (take that AAA). So happy Eric recommended them to me --- he believed in their service and knew they could help me out in the best way. Throughout the day, Eric called and gave me updates. He wasn't out "to get me" like other car places would. He and the technician were VERY honest and took care of the problem within hours. When I got there to pick up my car, Eric let me know about a promotion which saved me $30. I've NEVER.....EVER had such a great experience like this when it comes to car places and I'm definitely going back. I'm very blessed that this place is close to my home AND has great service. PLEASE make sure that Eric gets noticed for this. It's a huge deal to me that he's recognized and it's going to guarantee MORE people go to this location. I've taken my car to 3 different car shops getting checkups, and getting quotes on what it will cost to fix it. It's new to me, but it's a used car that I bought a few months ago. Firestone gave me the highest quotes per problem with my car, but they also showed me everything that was wrong with my car, while other places missed a thing or two. One place told me that Firestone tries to scare people into spending more money than necessary, and that they nit pick at the tiniest problems, and exaggerate the degree to which it truly affect the vehicle. But i like knowing everything that needs to be fixed in my car, even if it's a tiny problem. Now if their prices were more competitive, i would probably get my car fixed there as well. read more

Set up an appointment for my car to be serviced (oil change, rotate tires, check some underneath noises, etc) even dropped the car off the day before so they could start on it once they opened. When I had not heard back from them on the status by mid-afternoon he next day I called, twice. They never answered the phone. Drove by to check on the status and found the car unlocked and not serviced (not even the oil changed). Frustrating due to time and effort taken to discuss service and set up an appt. To many other places to take your car to get serviced, wouldn't waste time with this group. read more

WILL ATTEMPT TO RIP YOU OFF FOR AS MUCH $$ AS THEY CAN GET! I brought my vehicle here to get a quote for brake pads and rotors. The initial quote was just shy of $800!!! They eventually went down to $580 saying that both my front and rear break pads were "severely worn out" and that my front rotors were in just as bad condition. They did say my rear rotors could be resurfaced. Then they want to charge me for brake flushes and all kinds of other "up-sale" items. I declined their service that day. I went to another location that is a family own business. They looked at my car and quoted me $124!!!! MASSIVE difference from even just $580!! When I asked how their quote was so low, the owner replied "you only needed rear break pads and the rear rotors resurfaced" when I asked about the condition of my front brake pads and rotors the owner replied "you still have at least 30,000 to 40,000 miles to go one the fronts"!!! I was shocked!! Firestone will take advantage of you for everything you have!!! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!! I'll never go here again! Oh and just to add. I went to their other location down the road by target at 4219 Roswell Rd. In the 15 minutes I was waiting there, 2 customers came in there IRATE over their vehicles not working after service.
