I am a new father. I bought brand new tires and hired "them"( Mr. Tire) to install them. This was my first and last experience with this company. I didn't ask much other than to check their work Because I am a nervous father. This was met with an unpleasant tone by an older gentleman at the front desk, assuring me that they are the best. After Install I requested that they test drive it before handing me the keys. That request was denied, again with an unpleasant tone. I hoped in my car and drive it not even past the island in front of the establishment before the wheels started to jerk violently. They ultimately fixed the issue but did nothing to repair the damaged relationship. Will not be returning again. read more

Don't trust. Had new tires installed here they failed to check properly that tires were installed properly . When I left the tire nearly fell off. Rude for no reason. The camber on the vehicle wasn't adjusted properly during the alignment. Took my vehicle in for an alignment. They charged me $145.00 and could not produce printed alignment specs due to "the printer is broken". That and the steering wheel off center makes me think they "set the toe and let her go". I will take it to another shop and have it re-aligned just for peace of mind. read more

I would avoid this place. They really dont know what they are doing and dont care about the quality of their work. They jeopardize the safety of their customers by knowingly cutting corners. Specifically Kevin, the tech I dealt with yesterday. The female manager was professional and accommodating but the guys that really do the work in the back cut corners and then lie about it afterwards, to avoid doing the right thing. I bought brand new Goodyear tires and went to Mr Tire because they were the only people open on Sunday...convenience. To my surprise when I got home after picking up my trailer the wheels had not been balanced and no new valve stems had been installed. That means I had 9 year old valve stems that could fail driving down the highway at 70mph.. I called and the manager who graciously offered to make it right and balance the tires and replace valve stems.. I brought the tires back and left it for the day and came back at 5:15, 45 min before closing. I inspected the tires and found they had been balanced. But the old rusty valve stems were still there. I spoke with Kevin, the lead tech in the back. He told me the valve core had been replaced but not the whole valve stem. I told him that leaves old deteriorated rubber that can fail at highway speeds and demanded they be replaced which is customary with new tires and is a federal requirement. He refused and said they did not need to be replaced. He had plenty of time to do the work before closing but instead packed up his back pack and left work early with all the other techs. Drove off and left the manager there by herself! The manager was very professional and apologized. She was so embarrassed and I felt sorry for her. She offered a $50 refund. Trying to cover for Kevins inappropriate behavior and conduct. I told her Kevin is a definite business liability. How unprofessional of Kevin to blatantly disregard proper procedure and knowingly jeopardize peoples safety. Then ignore the ability to fix it and leave work early. Never will I step foot in this tire store again. Its downright dangerous to do so. Im going to Cherokee Tire and getting new valve stems replaced at my expense. Im going to report this to their corporate office. Hopefully some appropriate counseling will be done to avoid litigation that could result from a catastrophic accident caused by negligence. read more

Had an appointment at 2pm for 4 new tires. After waiting 10 minutes in the lobby to be greeted a gentleman with a cane finally came out of the office to ask what I needed. I simply explained I was interested in 4 new tires to which he asked if I wanted an alignment as well. When I inquired if it was included I was told no. I was never asked a question about what kind of tires I wanted l, how my other tires performed, just if I wanted an alignment. I was handed a print out and told these were "the best bang for the buck" at just over $1,000 for 4 tires. No qualification, no other feedback, just get these tires. When I asked for other options I was told he could look into ordering something else. I said no thank you and left the building as quickly as possible. Went to another competitor just 5 miles up the road and was sold 4 tires of better quality for $750 including alignment. I would never step foot back in that place of business again, it was a complete waste of my time. read more

Mr Tire on Cumming Hwy has zero measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19!!!! I scheduled a brake appointment and upon arrival this morning, was shocked. There are no mask on employees or customers. No hand sanitizers or barriers between cash register and customers. Additionally, i noticed the two stickers on the floor related to social distancing were covered by black mats. I ended up leaving shortly after arrival. I was aleady uncomfortable, but when another customer and an employee coughed and sneezed without covering, i asked for my keys back and jetted out of there. I can't thank these guys enough! I came to town for Jeepfest and after hitting a trail in my jeep, I noticed a rattle coming from my rear suspension. I just had a new lift kit installed, so I was hoping something had come loose and just needed torqued down and it wasn't anything more serious. I arrived at 7:30 as they opened and the mgr (didn't get his name) said he'd get me right in which was awesome because I could see these guys were swamped! He and one of his techs (didn't get his name either :-/) lifted and inspected my jeep and found that one of rear shocks had come loose. The tech crawled under the Jeep and tightened it down and I was good to go! It's always reassuring to know there are still good people who understand good customer service and will do what they can to help you out and make sure you are satisfied! I will also add that I stopped at one of their competitors first, because they opened earlier, and that Manager said he couldn't work me in. This why the guys at Mr. Tire are getting this review. Ron and staff were impressive. Very knowledgeable. Very professional. Very patient. I have an AWD Terrain and Ron enlightened me on the potential for issues if only putting on 2 new tires. I chose 2 anyway. Rears were great. Fronts had never been rotated and were toasted. Upon request, Ron and team even checked the front/rear circumference difference before and after. It actually ended up closer than before by 1/2 inch. While I had the car there, they turned all 4 rotors and put new pads on. AND straightened out the muffler that had been tweaked by a runaway concrete wall. Brakes are like new again! Yokohama G055's are perfect. GREAT shop here! I came here today about 15 minutes before closing because my tire was going flat. I had tried the NTB down the street first because they were closer and they said they couldn't look at it until tomorrow. Mind you my tire pressure was at 10.1 PSI, basically flat. I came to this place hoping they could do something and luckily they could. It took all of 20-25 minutes for them to patch it up and put air in all my tires to make sure I was riding evenly. BEWARE! Horrible place! Went here on Sunday because we had a nail in our tire. The guy said it was going to be 3 to 4 hours to fix so we said ok... and went to do some shopping. I figured it would be super busy on Sunday anyways. So... they call us not even 30 min later to tell us that they will not be able to fix the tore because it has a low thread on it....might I add I just bought this tire 1 month ago and tread is brand new. They told us that either we get a brand new tire or drive home with a nail in it that it was a liability to them. So we said fine give us a new tire. The man told us that he didn't have the tire and it would be tomorrow before they received them that we would have to leave the car up there over night.....um how where we suppose to get home?? Uber was like 50 bucks. We then asked how much the tire was going to be and the guy had no idea and didn't even bother to tell us. Bad business!!! Gave a quote, with the tire supplies FREE, alignment included for total Drive out price. I asked about how long, and he said he could he could have them First thing the next morning. (I'd gotten an estimate at another place and it was a little cheaper, but didn't include supplies, NOR alignment. They told me two Business days. It was one week to the day when hat place called me and said they were there) But...at Mr. Tire, it was 4 minutes from the time they gave till The truck pulled in with my tires, they had my car ready, seemed like MOMENTS, from start to finish. The manager Ron wax a very nice guy, you Oils feel The honesty and kindness, without pressure. So for those reason? I decided to go with them. The day I Took It in, the assistant manager Kevin was there. WHAT A FRIENDLY GUY!!!!!! Extremely Intelligent and most interesting about the subjects we were talking about. On vacation visiting family in Canton, GA. The AC went out on our Honda Odyssey minivan. We yelped this repair shop and I spoke with Ron Golden. I dropped the car off 10 minutes later -- and on the way the AC kicked back on... I still wanted to have it looked at, though. Two hours later Ron called to say he couldn't track down the problem, but since it (the AC) was working, he charged me $40 to troubleshoot, and clearly explained the steps he took to sniff out the problem. The experience was seemingly going well until I went to pay. The man working tried to scare me into paying almost $1000 for new brakes on the front and rear when the only ones close to needing replacement would be the front. He was insistent on making me aware of several "pressing issues" I should have them check out. When I left and began to drive around, my check engine light came on, and my car was suddenly unable to accelerate. When I looked under the hood at the engine I was dumbfounded to discover that whatever mechanic they had change my oil (less than half an hour ago) didn't even reattach the vacuum hose to the engine after checking the air filter which is why I couldn't accelerate. Either these men were attempting to trick me into coming back and spending more money, or they are sorry excuses for mechanics. I will not be returning to this facility due to its patronizing, dishonest scams they used to try to make me spend outrageous amounts of money on basic upkeep I can do at home myself for $20. I am thoroughly displeased, and insulted that I was taken for such an idiot to these class-A grease monkeys. Inexcusable... read more
