Went back again for NYS inspection oil change and tire rotation. They still suck, front desk service writer is rude, never looked up and made eye contact. I sat there for an two hours and observed this guy and it wasn't just me, he has no skills. I asked to be told how the tires were going to be rotated so I know for next time. Turns out when I got home the tires were not rotated at all. The oil was changed with the highest cost fully synthetic on the receipt yet the sticker they placed inside the windshield said oil change due in 3,000 miles. Synthetic should last longer. The place is a scam, stay the hell away from here. I go out of convenience and regret it every time. Never again, I hope others see this and heed the warning. I purchased a set of tires and wheels from Tire Rack for my 68 Mustang and was given Firestone in Massapequa as my designated installer. I must say they went above and beyond the basics and helped out with changing decades old wheel studs which were stripped and corroded. They were also great on working with you on the price point, a scenario often not seen today. Also, the staff and management are "User Friendly" which is an added bonus. I shall return. Made appointment, arrived early went to check in told gentleman had an appointment - no greeting, like ordering from kiosk at McDonalds and Ihad also printed coupon for SYNTHETIC BLEND. I told him I've been here before and he printed repair order of which he put for regular oil (not Syn/Blend)like coupon says when I went back to to the desk this very NICE lady was checking on my car and found the error repair on order (regular oil) just in time!! Went to car and when I got home found grease on lower door carpeted area &sill molding. An 1 1/2 hr. for oil & filter change good thing I made an appointment! So my fiancé and I have used this specific Firestone a couple times. I am not impressed with this company what so ever. They nickel and dime you for everything. Just went there to get my fiancé's car inspected. We drop the car off and shortly after they give us a call (we didn't want to stay. It's not actually a comfortable clean area for customers) the cars license plate light needed to be replace to pass inspection. We asked if we could pick the car up and go To autozone to replace it bec obviously it would be cheaper and they will install it FREE of charge. They said yea you can do that put we would have to charge you $10 to re-inspect your car. Like really? That's ridiculous. 2.99 for the light 12 for labor for putting a small light on that's easy to access. This company is really out there to rob you. Not hard to guess we won't be returning or using this company. read more

Firestone is garbage. Had a engine issue explained the issue to one firestone in bay shore. Said they couldn't find anything. Problem continued. Brought to another location and explained the issue. Said bring it to the dealership I probably don't know what it is. Maybe good for oil changes but by any means are these people proper mechanics. They waste your time and are completely lazy. Guy didn't even look at my car. When he was taking to me he didn't even look at me or make eye contact, he was virtually staring into space. After bringing to dealer it was a simple hose issue. Excellent service as usual. Helped as soon as I walked in. Diagnosis of my cars issue began within 5 minutes. Complimentary coffee is available, as are soft drinks from a soda machine. The waiting area is clean. There is a tv to watch. Remote is available to watch what you want. Also a nice spread of magazines. Very comfortable bringing my vehicle here. read more

Made an appointment last Saturday morning to drop off car in the morning to put 4 new tires on...appointment was made a week and a half prior...easy enough, right? Dropped off at 6:50 AM...only one car from the previous day to be fixed that was in one of the bays....thinking my car would be an hour tops to throw on 4 tires...well, over 5 hours later I call to see what the hell is going on and they say only 2 guys are working on a Saturday...I call bull@#$t!! Only takes 20 minutes to put tires on AND everything was paid for...should have stayed and waited...eventually got my car back at almost 1 PM...would I go back?? I assumed that Al would accept my unprofessional diagnosis and sell me a new battery based on my observation of the corrosion. But No! He had his Technicians run a battery analysis and it checked out "Good" and Al said that the battery should last several more years! Honesty appears to be Al and his team at Firestone's best policy. I've had nothing but good experiences here. I never trust these places but I actually trust these guys. They've never lead me astray or tried to sell me something I didn't need. They recommended battery replacement last time we were there and we thought they were trying to just sell us something we didn't need. Sure enough a week later- dead battery. They can always accommodate you even super last minute and same day appointments. Great hours too- they open really early to go before work. I took off a star because I feel like their prices are a lot higher than other places. Oil change is way too expensive. But I keep coming back because I legitimately trust them. read more

I pre ordered tires online. I received 3 emails confirming my appointment yet when I showed up I was told, "Oh sorry, the guy forgot to order them and they won't be in until tomorrow after 11am." I came in with my new Subaru as the tire light went on and for some reason had a leak. I asked the man the the desk if they could look at it and get it if needed. He was so rude. Well $200 later after being told I should not drive on a flat tire I need a new tire. Being I was not close to home I was told I would have a blow out so i ended up getting a new tire bringing the old tire home which by the was was never even checked to see where the leak was. Took the tire home to local mechanic and dealer only to be told the old tire with 20000 was fine and was not torn up like the nasty man said. Totally disgusted how they treat people. If I could give this place ZERO STARS I WOULD! I had the WORST experience with Keith the manage of Firestone in Massapequa Park. He was rude, on the phone and in person, zero ability of time management and in the end gave me the wrong tire. I called and SPECIFICALLY asked for a Firestone tire, when I arrived I had a premier tire placed on my car. When I went to discuss this with him, he was very unprofessional and proceeded to tell me that I never asked for a firestone tire and gave me the premier. After a VERY LOUD back and forth conversation, I requested for my original tire to be placed back onto my car and my money to be refund. When he went back into the garage, it appeared that he had the firestone tire which was what I ORIGINALLY ASKED FOR! I will not be returning to this establishment, nor will I be referring ANYONE to go there. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, save yourself the aggravation! read more

Fast service. Very caring employees. I went in for an oil change and they noticed my 3 tires had metal showing. I was unable to afford it, but they worked with me. They made sure I was safe traveling 400 miles home. They even added a few screws here and there in wheel well because some where missing. So satisfied with the service and compassion. read more
