But please save your money and buy your air filter from Amazon. All you'll need is a Phillips screwdriver and 5 minutes of your time. You will save yourself 10-20 dollars instead of letting them sell you one. And I have to be honest, they usually try and sell me things before they are needed. Since my one car is older, I'm going to buy it when it's needed. The employees are nice and fast. Maybe a little rugged for some but that's with any car shop. Come here if you want it done fast and for about 40.00 with coupon. (Higher since inflation came up recently.)

This differs quite a bit from the one-time auto inspection and biennial emissions test that I am used to in Maryland. After spending the better part of Friday, updating my driver's license, title, and registration, I figured I might as well knock out the state inspection and just be finished with this. I called Jiffy Lube and they kindly informed that while they do accept walk-in appointments for the state inspection, the do not accept state inspection appointments after 4pm. I settled on going in first thing Saturday morning. I left my house at 7:45amish so I would arrive a few minutes before opening. I arrived about a minute after they opened and ended up being the fifth car in the line. They told me that there would be a two-hour wait. I ended up waiting in my car for over two hours, and then waited another hour as my car was serviced. The technician completing the inspection was kind enough to let me know that while I had removed the MD tag in the rear of my vehicle, I had forgotten to remove the MD tag in the front of my vehicle. He removed it for me and I passed the auto and emissions inspection. I paid a little over $90 for the auto inspection, emissions test, and stickers. While I was not happy with the long wait times, or the information that this type of inspection needs to be completed annually, I was fairly pleased with the customer service and would very likely return for similar services in the future. I removed a star for the very small waiting room and out of order bathroom.

Mark, the Service Manager, was friendly and helpful--he confirmed my appointment and assured me the tires would arrive in plenty of time. So far, so good! I was asked if I wanted an alignment, but I discussed with the service lady that tires comes with a free 'inspection/balance check', so I went with 'tell me if I need one'. After waiting twice as long as as I was told it would take, they said I was all good to go. Two weeks ago, I discovered the inside of my front tires were worn bald, like scary to drive bald. I made an appointment for this last Saturday at 1, expecting them to fix the mistake. Right away on the phone, the guy tells me it is a suspension problem, but my truck just had its whole front end redone, and was inspected 3 days after I bought the new tires. I drop my truck off at my appointment time of 1pm on Saturday, 4/25, and I was told it would take a couple of hours. At 5:20 I call to check on my truck and was told I had no alignment at all so I need to pay for 2 new tires and an alignment, THAT WAS THERE JOB TO DO IN NOVEMBER! And then they told me my truck was next to get on the rack. It should be ready in an hour. So it has been there for 4 hours and 20 minutes, has yet to be looked at, but they 'know' what is wrong and quoted me $305 to fix their issues. I was told at 5:20, it would be ready in an hour. I get to cooking dinner and we eat, constantly next to my phone waiting for a call, nothing. It is now 7:30, and we just drive down to see what is going on, the shop is CLOSED, locked up with my truck INSIDE. No call, no heads up, it has been there since 1, and now I don't have it all night. I am absolutely furious!!! On Sunday morning I wait an hour after the shop opens, and call and ask about my truck. I was told they are working on it now, it should be another half an hour. I pick it up at 11. 22 hours after I dropped it off and $273, (they gave me a 10% discount on service fees) for two new tires and an alignment which I already bought 5 months ago and none of this should have happened. I have never had a worse experience with mechanics, or really any business.

Why was it available to book on their website in the first place?! To top it all off, while this exchange was happening, another employee examined my car trying to find the issue he discussed with the customer in front of me (both my car and that customer's were the same make, but different models). If these morons can't keep scheduled appointments and can't tell the difference between one customer's vehicle and another, I'd be terrified to discover what kind of damage they'd do once they got the hood up!!
