Online for this store, the tires listed at $250.00. Online it stated that mounting, balancing, and tire rotation for life was included in the price of the tire. So technically, that should be $1000.00 plus tax and an additional disposal fee. So, roughly $1200.00. The person at the counter quoted $1620.00. After expressing the concern over the information on the Firestone website for their location, NOTHING. No interest in confirming, which would have been easy enough to do. We will not go back. Got the same 4 tires at a local competitor out the door mount, balanced, tax, disposal fee, etc. for $1256. Never going back. read more

I've been using Firestone since 2000. They have now become untrustworthy. I had my truck in there six times for a simple alignment issue. I've caught them several times recommending parts I didn't need. I don't know if it's fraud, incompetence, or stupidity, but do not take your car here! Unprofessional at its highest, say one thing get in your car and it's another, came in for spark plug replacement prior a week back they changed my starter, Now why is it I have motor issues and it's knocking ?!? It's only 4 spark plugs and yall didn't say it was an issue last week when yall changed the starter ! She clearly told the associate she had a online coupon and she has 800 dollars of Bridgestone ectopia tires . Did they go to car ? No they put in the system a car care package. Is this girl overwhelmed ? Yes now she's paying 10 dollars for a service she did not need. Recommended issues with the package . None None . I was in a terrible jam due to faulty workmanship back when my car was brand new. I headed here to Firestone because at the time they were the closest spot to where my car broke down while driving. I explained what I thought the problem was, still, mechanic after mechanic wanted to take a turn at starting the car and listening and rolling it out. Every time they did this it was damaging the car. At the end of an hour of pacing, listening, starting and gossiping amongst the other mechanics, they told me they didn't know what the problem was and I could take my car whenever I liked. I recently replaced a battery in my vehicle. When the battery died the very next day, I took my vehicle in to this location to have the electrical system checked and an alternator replaced, if necessary. As part of the service, Firestone said that they would also perform a complimentary "Courtesy Check" of several items on my vehicle. When they called to tell me my alternator had bad bearings, I asked them to replace it. But, the dealer tried to "up-sell" me four new tires and a full alignment service for over $1,000. I declined. They called later to tell me the vehicle was ready. I picked up the vehicle, but the car would not start. They had failed to charge my battery. Once the battery was replaced, I was on my way. I traveled no more than 50 miles when my motor began overheating. One of my belts running the water pump was bad, had broken while I was driving it, and then slipped off the water pump. I had to have another mechanic replace all of my belts. The "Courtesy Check" had not been performed by the technician. Furthermore, when he removed the bad belt and put it back on, he failed to notice or inform anyone that the belt was bad. This place didn't mind offering me over $1,000 worth of services (tires and alignment) that I did not need at the time, but totally failed to inform me that my belts were bad, and furthermore put bad belts back on the vehicle and failed to charge my brand new battery which was supposed to be in good condition. See the photos showing that the Courtesy Check was NOT performed and the belts were NOT inspected (even though the technician had to physically remove the belts to install the alternator). We woke up at the hotel with a flat tire - thankfully Firestone was around the corner. They are extremely understaffed. It shouldn't take 3 hours to evaluate the tire and either sell us one or fix it - but it did. However - the staff is awesome. Like others stated in their reviews the customer service goes a long way. The wait hindered our vacation progress but the staff made the time spent waiting tolerable--- to a point. We decided after hour two of waiting to see if they would look at the balancing and the small vibration we felt while on the road. I give them 4 stars because after visiting 3 Firestones in the Cedar Park & Leander, TX area these guys finally fixed a balancing issue we couldn't get the three stores at home to correct. read more

A very long way. I took my son's 2008 Honda Civic to this New Brunswick location last Sunday, July 12 because it was running hot. I paid $99 for a "diagnostic" and then $244 for suggested coils. The mgr Ed Towns also suggested $200 spark plugs which had already been replaced July 11. He called and said my "lil Honda was ready" I paid $344 and picked it up. It ran hot and broke down across town July 12. I paid $60 to have it towed back to them where they suddenly announced it was the engine heads and nothing they could do. I have been waiting 3 days for Ed Towns to call me back about how this "diagnostic" didn't reveal any of this engine failure 2 days ago before I paid $344 then $60 and probably another $60 to have it towed away. Got new tires and was in n out asap, Mike made it possible for me to be on my way since I was limited on time, I was very satisfied with the service of my car and visit, I would definetly recommend this firestone to other locals in the area or if ur just passing through on the I-40 and need service on ur vehicle or tires this is the place to go. read more

Took my car in for an appointment at 9AM and left it until 12:30PM. I called to check if my car had been serviced, the service being 2 tires replacement and alignment, they told they haven't even begun to start on my car. I have never seen a Firestone so lazy and casual at their job. I've been a dedicated customer for 2 years taking in various cars and referring friends and coworkers to take their cars in because of their professionalism and somewhere I can trust. I learn that the dealership maybe higher but I think it's worth it in the end. Firestone will not admit to their errors and charge you for something else. My reason for going was the affordability but it doesn't add up to that after several visits and the same issues. Not the best customer service. I think everyone experience is different. I took my van to get an oil change and picked it up the next day. 25 miles away from the store my rear main seal blew out. Firestone sent an adjuster out to investigate and found that the seal blew out due to normal wear. Not due to the technician overfilling the oil. Also the same technician forgot to change the air filter that Firestone charged me for. Now I am stuck with a broken van and all the repair bills. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FIRESTONE!!!!!!
