Extremely disappointed with the customer service at this location. They don't answer their phone and the online appointment schedule is a joke. It will allow you to schedule an appointment online , then 8 hours later they call to tell you they are totally booked for that day. If we could rate them no stars we would!! I had a nail in my tire on Saturday (I was just at the Walmart next door when it was noticed). Showed up to have them take care of it, since we bought the warranty when we bought the tires less than 6 months ago. I was then advised the tire was not fixable. They wanted to replace my tire with a different tire... I'm sorry would you go into a shoe store and off a costumer a different shoe?? Then tell them it will "not really effect the wear and tread"? We tell them we want the same tire we paid a warranty for and to put the spare on the car. When I was leaving I asked where my tire was and they told tell me they found a tire and would be here the following day. Sunday they did not call. Monday the did. When we went to get the tire put on, that was less than 6 months old. That the tech told me when I bought them in "oh these are still really new" was charged an additional fee! Why?? Because there was "wear" on the tires. Are you kidding me?! Maybe you can pull a fast one over on some people but my husband is a Master Technician and I'm shocked with you guys!!! read more

Service was great and i have never had issues then i brought my car in a month ago and i told them to check my wheel bearings because my car was vibrating and loud. I asked them for an oil change too. They inspected my car and came out with things I needed for over $2000 and didn't even talk about the oil change and wheel bearings. My fault i didn't ask but i was so flustered with everything else and they reassured me they will take care of me and make sure my car is safe. Next day my car was making the same sound and i brought it back, they said they couldn't match the sounds i was talking about. When i left, i heard the same sound so how can you say you didn't hear it???? They wanted me to take videos and show them. Instead i went to someone else and they heard what i was talking about right away! So something is wrong and i have known for two months oh and i was due for an oil change like i told them in the beginning!!! Just sucks they just want your money. read more

Took my car here for an oil change, and when they took it in the back the manager told the mechanic that was working on my car to leave and pick up a lady at her house, whole there were 3 other mechanics conversing on the side. So that added another 20 mins to my overall time and when I confronted him about it he thought he did nothing wrong. Also they have me a quote of $900 for a control arm that cost me $300 at the shop down the street. NEVER GO HERE read more

I went to have a tire repaired, which had a nail in it. Keep in mind that I initially went to Discount Tire and with the tire off as I had my spare on and they looked at it and stated it was an easy repair, but the wait would be 4-5 hours, due to being very busy I left due to trying to get it done in a shorter time frame and went to Firestone on Lindsey and McKellips Rd. The front desk clerk came out and looked at it and stated that i would need a new tire and it was not able to be repaired. I told him that I just left Discount Tire and what they stated to me. They just wanted to pad their pockets and charge me for a tire instead of doing a simple $20 repair. I am closing out my Firestone card and NEVER using them or referral them to any of my family and friends. You had an opportunity to provide a service and instead you lost customers. Keep in mind with today's social media, bad experiences spread like wildfire and Corp. really needs to educate this place, and from the looks of the reviews here, I am not the only one who feels this place has earned a bad reputation. BTW, I went back to Discount Tire and told them to repair it and they did a great job. just a little time consuming. Never should have went to Firestone.....Lesson learned. read more

Will not mount tires unless sticker is still on them. In other words will not mount "any" used tire for you.

Truck would not start so got a jump from my Son and drove straight over. 20 minutes later was told it was an alternator and the battery was marginal at best so it would have to be replaced. Quote was for $680...? i did not have the confindence level that they knew what the problem was and they also did not have the part. On the way home i stopped at local Autozone to pick up a jump start battery and asked if they had the part and they did. I called Firestone and was told they called the local store and were told they did not have it available? Then i saw the price it was $230 less than the quote they gave me for exactly same part. Needless to say at this point i had no trust. Took it to dealership that monday not an alternator issue just needed battery replaced. $160. read more

I have interacted with the staff at this location several times now, and Wes is the most customer service-minded, friendly staff member they have. Thorough in his explanations of why suggested services are important and knowledgable in alternatives if you're not willing/able to complete that service at that time, due to time or money. I took my car in to have a diagnosis of a check eng light. Which I already knew of the codes from Kia dealership. P0441 and p2422. And why my steering wheel shakes. They called to tell me my two front tires were separated (less than 6mths old, but a possibility I guess). And that's all they told me. I said ok. He says so what do you want? Us to put the car back together and you come pick it up? Really! He hasn't even explained anything regarding the eng codes at this point. Hmmm. So I replied what about the eng codes, that was my main concern. Service manager says oh let me look into that. Which should of already been done in my opinion before calling the customer. Right! So all said and done I replace the code P0441 as recommended by them and reset the codes. Hopeing it doesn't come back on. Paid. Brought my car home which is 2 miles from the shop. It's been sitting for 24hrs and weeelllll there a basketball size leak under driver side behind wheel. I've never had any leaks in this car not even a dime on my drive way! I drive 100 miles a day. Called and explained the car was picked up, sat, and this is what I see... He replied nothing, just sat there on the phone. So I say 30-40sec later um so what are you going to do to fix this problem? He replies we didn't touch anything other than the purge silinoid we replaced. Really! Hmmm let see (earlier said) put my car back together so I can pick it up(?) hmmm full service diagnosis report of everything that was checked under car (joints,boots,arms, ect). But nothing touched! So that's my story and I now have a leaking car that no one claims responsibility to. read more

Forget about this place. I had an appointment for 11:00. I showed up 5 minutes to 11. The salesman wrote up $227 worth of maintenance work. He told me they would get my truck right in, and it would take about an hour and a half. I then went for a walk, and got something for lunch. When I walked back, my truck was still sitting where I left it. I went inside, and asked him if it was all done. Pretending to first notice he said, "oh, they haven't even brought it in yet". I have always gone to Firestone out of convenience since they are two minutes from me. The manager was relocated and the air of this place has changed. I was quoted $900 on a brake job which they brought down to $700 with their "discounts". I went somewhere else for a second opinion and learned that half of what I was told needed to be done-didn't need to be touched. So they either were going to charge me for work not done or parts not put in. Got my brakes fixed at one third the quoted price. Feeling upset that they tried to take advantage of me-possibly because I am a woman. Boo on them. read more

Worst experience ever at Firestone on McLintock and Lindsey in Mesa, AZ. I would never recommend this location to anyone. They basically asked me to never come after I questioned them on their inability to properly align my car after a replacement tire was purchased. The manager didn't even have the courage to speak with me. Majority of their techs are inexperienced given they couldn't even dial in some alignment specs. The. To turn around and tell me not to come back when I questioned the work is just poor service. Little to no integrity in how they dealt with the situation. read more

I have waited a little while to post this because I did not want to post anything out of anger and regret it later. This firestone location sucks! I always used to go there and get my oil change but I will NEVER go back to ANY firestone especially the Lindsay and Mckellips location. The reason why I am so disgusted with this place is because one of the managers was extremely pushy trying to get me to sign up for a credit card. I told the dude no like five times but he kept asking reassuring me that it would not hurt my credit and that I could get a free oil change out of it. So I told him I wasn't interested and then he came back inside and told me that I needed to get a new battery once again being extremely pushy about it. I think the reason why he was being so over the top is because I was the only customer in the lobby so no one was around to see it. Anyways I kept telling him no then he tried to upsell me on another product and I just kept saying no. So I finally was at the checkout and he asked me one more time if I wanted it and I finally caved (I regret that decision so much) anyways so after he finally signed me up for it he casually asked if I was going to be paying for the oil change in cash. WTF?! The whole purpose of signing up was to get a free oil change!!! I took it as he was going to pocket the money of the oil change for him self!!! That place is sketchy. I am always skeptical of these types of chain auto shops in fear of being overcharged or being told that I need services that I don't really need. This is based on what I've heard from others and from a bad experience I had at a different Firestone a few years ago. My experience this time was much different. After trying a few other places first, I gave these guys a try as they were able to see me last minute at the end of the day. I brought my vehicle in for a brake inspection due to some vibration I was getting while braking at high speeds. After the inspection, they informed me that the vibration was due to two of the rotors being warped. However, they explained to me that I could continue to drive on it and be fine. The brake pads were worn down some of the way, but still had a little ways to go before needing replacement, so they advised me to come back after another 5k miles or so and get the pads replaced then, along with the two warped rotors. Their quote was very reasonable. Additionally, I asked them a couple of other questions about other things I noticed on the vehicle. They inspected the issues for me and advised me accordingly. The worker here spent quite a bit of time teaching me about how some of these things work and was never pushy about getting me to do anything right then. These little things are what are most important to me about a mechanic and I really appreciated the consideration. I only ended up having them do a fuel system cleaning for today, but will definitely be back when it's time for the brakes. For now I'm just giving them four stars since I only had them do the fuel system cleaning, but I will change to five stars based on my experience having the brakes replaced. read more
