simply rude, zero customer service! Throughout the years I've bought a couple of sets of tires here and we have switched our business, to discount tire for a reason! Kevin, has absolutely no people skills, and when I was told it would take an hour and a half to two hours to rotate my tires after I made an appointment; is kind of unacceptable. When I told him I did not have time for that today, I had my keys mildly thrown at me. When I stated in a very calm voice you didn't have to throw your keys at me he ignoring me and stormed off into the service bays. How can you not have enough technicians but still accept appointments, and once your customer shows up, you're just going to tell them there is no technician available to provide the service to them at the moment? I drove 20 minutes to this location hoping to get my AC diagnosed, and when I came, one of the front desk representatives (Kevin) just told me that they can't take me and that they tried to contact me the day before but they couldn't. The truth is they did not contact me at all, and I still received reminders through my text for the appointment the day before and an hour before my appointment was scheduled. I bought a set of tires. I had them mounted on my customer aluminum wheels. I asked if they had a 'no mare' tire changing machine. They said 'no' but they use a place that has the proper machine and they would have them do the work. I received (2) wheels back that where mounted on the proper machine. The other (02) came back with gouges and marks on them. ( mounted on the wrong machine ). They wrecked two of my wheels. I get reminded of their screw up everytime I look at my wheels. If you have nice wheels, I would go someplace else. read more

I walked in not expecting to get service without an appointment, but they asked if I could wait a half hour then they could get me in ... literally five minutes later they were pulling my car in for service... awesome crew at this location! When I took my vehicle to Firestone New Berlin with a small screw in one tire, the associate advised me that the tire was not repairable and had to be replaced because I had used the tire sealant that came with the car to temporarily seal the leak, which had allegedly ruined the tire. The employee did not mention that it was merely company policy not to work on tires that had sealant applied. I later learned that sealant that is applied correctly can simply be cleaned out and the tire can be repaired. I have had cars serviced and repaired at Firestone for many years. I expect to receive advice that is truthful, complete, and puts me in a position to make an informed decision about all options available. The advice I did receive was incomplete and misleading, and the consequential damage from replacing tires earlier than needed is not acceptable. My complaints with the company and the Better Business Bureau went nowhere: management covered for their employee who lied about withholding information from me to gaslight me into replacing my tires when it wasn't necessary. I gave a big warning out to anyone who considers getting their auto work done at this location. Not only did they forget to re-fasten the metal piece that covers the oil change area following an oil change, but they also punctured my tire when I returned it to get it fixed. They also blamed me for the part not being fastened correctly stating that the fasteners were out when my car was just there less than 24 hours prior. I left the shop following them having to re-fasten that part following oil change and like I said they intentionally punctured my tire. I received such excellent care at Firestone!! The technicians were knowledgeable, professional, and extremely kind. I'd recommend to anyone!! I happened to be in the Milwaukee area from Chicago just for a day trip, and my car started leaking oil. The technicians at Firestone were excellent in quickly diagnosing what was wrong and finding a solution that allowed me to drive back safely to Chicago that same night. Firestone will never receive my service again because of this New Berlin location. We requested all new brakes (hoses, master, boost, etc.) To be able to pull our new trailer because these were the original 1997 brakes. A proactive measure and it turned into almost a month of back and forth due to their terrible work. The associates at this location are so disrespectful about our dissatisfaction and blamed it on the vehicle being old. BUT IT WAS ALL NEW PART and who puts zip ties on a new break line that rubs on the fuel line. We asked them to correct their mistakes and ended up having the new front caliber locked up going 70 on the HWY with our child in the vehicle. We went back and told them why, they keep the vehicle again (with no updates unless we call) but continue to say the vehicle is old. Please note I will never go to firestone since they took away my safety and brushed off my complaint to corporate (who closed my request without speaking with me) about my child's safety like it means nothing to them. I will never recommend firestone to anyone and will pay more to go anywhere but here. read more

Scheduled service for 11am 7/13/24. When I arrived, was told would now be at least several hours, that they had called and left a message. They did not. When they insisted a message was left I showed them my recent calls and voicemails, neither showed calls from them and I checked prior to leaving. I asked why they would lie and put in system as such, claimed they did call even when presented with proof. I do not approve of these poor business practices and will not be back. I went to this car care center re:a nail in my tire and was told it could not be repaired which I was pretty sure was true but was hoping differently. Mark to,d me that because it was an AWD car that I needed to replace all of my tires because of the stress it would impose on the transfer case with the different tread depths .Not completely true but ok he offered to get me a quote on a set of tires and I politely declined as the other 3 tires had plenty of tread left on them and I would pursue other options . I purchased a tire on line (used) the exact same tire with almost identical used tread depth hoping to get that installed to replace the bad tire .I called to make sure they could put the tire on and Mark tells me it's the stores policy not to install used tires . I've used Firestone in the Chicago area for more than 15 years. Just moved to the Milwaukee area and am sorely disappointed with the service capabilities and customer service. Just called the New Berlin location because the Franklin location told me they're the only ones who can do the recommended service on my Chevy Traverse at 97,500 miles. The first time I called I was immediately hung up on. Called back and spoke to a man who said they won't touch my car over 95,000 miles. He then hung up on me as I was asking for a rec on where I should go. I called back AGAIN and was immediately put on hold. I guess our family is not a Firestone customer anymore. read more

If I could give this facility less than 1 star I would! The only good thing about this Firestone facility was the proximity to my house. I needed a set of tires mounted and balanced on some newly purchased wheels. Thinking anyone could do this I took them here. Didn't even need to have the tires mounted on the car as it was still cold and just wanted to get the summer tires ready for the warmer weather. Dropped them off and within a few days had them complete. I was pleasantly surprised that they transferred my location stickers (Driver Front, Driver Rear, etc.) from the old set of wheels to the new ones. So I take them home thinking all is good for a few weeks. The warmer weather finally comes and I swap the winter tires out for the summer tires. I drive all weekend with no problems (no highway driving). Monday comes and I jump on the highway to get to work. RIDICULOUS wheel vibration as soon as I get to 65 MPH. I literally thought my tires were going to fall off. I get to work and immediately check lug nut torques, air pressure, etc. Can't find anything wrong. Everything points to the tires being unbalanced. So instead of taking it back to Firestone I go to another auto repair shop (mostly cause I now don't trust them to even look at my car) and have them take a look. The new shop does a full inspection and balancing. The new shop couldn't believe how far off the balancing was and actually thought the tires WEREN'T balanced at all when I came in. I get on the highway and all the problems are gone. I will never go back to this facility. If they can't even manage to balance a set of wheels and tires then I have no clue how they can manage to do anything else. I'm not saying avoid Firestone auto care facilities, just AVOID THIS ONE! read more

The reason for two stars instead of one is because my first of three visit to this location went good. Where things fell apart are my last two visits. The first bad experience was when I brought my car in because I had a squealing issue I thought was due to the serpentine belt. After their inspection it was determined it was "likely" (it was only) due to a bad left rear wheel bearing. For just the part, they quoted $393.99 and up upon my research found a part with the same serial number that only cost $171.49. They didn't even specify the exact brand and there are other parts with the same number sequence for as low as $60. Since they weren't 100% sure the squealing was due to my loose wheel bearing they recommended doing the other side as well, and recommended new break pads and rotors. I had just replaced the break pads a month prior. Ugh... So, after all that and discovering how much cheaper the actual part was I went ahead and purchased it on Amazon. To my surprise I was also able to purchase the installation for $160 directly through Amazon (Firestone wanted $327.60) and they set me up with a shop to perform the work. The shop was Braeger Chevrolet of all places! After parts and labor through Amazon I only spent about $230 to fix the problem. Saved me over $500+ AT LEAST. Next experience. Since my first experience went good, I decided to give them another chance. On my first experience I purchased a set of 4 tires and a lifetime alignment service. Today I was in need of an oil change and tire rotation. Figured why not give them a chance on this. I scheduled the appointment online for 6pm and got confirmation. They close at 7pm. It's a Thursday evening... I arrived at the store at 6:04pm and met the gentlemen at the counter who already looked surprised to see me. I told him my name and that I was here for a 6pm oil change and tire rotation. He says in a distraught and annoyed tone "um.... that's going to be a problem because I like to do everything on schedule and it's already 6:04". Alright fine, you got me, buddy... I'm less than 5 minutes late for an oil change and tire rotation. They closed in 56 minutes and this guy chose to be petty because I was 4 minutes late according to his watch. I left, didn't give the guy another look. read more

Really disappointing service here. Took the car in for an oil change and to have the suspension looked at because tires were wearing oddly and assumed it needed an alignment. I walked out with an overpriced oil change and an estimate for repairs that were later found to be unnecessary. For the oil change, they were adamant that it needed synthetic oil "per the computer" and made me sign a waiver in order to use regular oil. Instead of doing an alignment, they offered up a $800 estimate for new struts. I took the car to two more shops and neither thought they were necessary. read more

I had replaced the front brakes and rotors myself for about $150 in decent quality parts. As I was rotating the tires I noticed the back pads were very close to the end. I was leaving for vacation in a few days pulling a trailer and that the weather was hot and I had never dealt with rear discs, so I decided (for the first time in 45 years) to pay for a brake job. I called and emailed a couple of places and could not get in before I left. I called firestone and he could fit me in that day. So customer service is good. The charge for the brakes was $487. Unfortunately while they were working on the car Farm and Fleet finally replied to my quote request with $193. Needless to say Firestone will never see me again. read more

Should an oil change take 1 hour and 15 minutes? Was told my car had been done for awhile but the mechanic was waiting for the ONE guy that knows how to reset the change oil light. Should that be a skill more workers know? The mechanic Mike came and chatted with me while I continued to wait for my car to be done. Told me about his daughter's drunk driving record and that he would be going to court to testify for her. Then told me he doesn't trust cops and "when you give a man a badge and a gun it goes to his head". My dad is a cop. I'm appalled by the things he said and sharing his political stance unsolicited and over an oil change. Will not be returning to this or any Firestone and won't be recommending anyone else go. read more

I needed new tires and I have always gone to a Firestone Store for this service. I decided to try the Firestone in New Berlin on Moorland Road. My service was excellent, from calling to make my appointment, to paying for the tires. They called when they said they would and they were always very precise and courteous. I took it in for an oil change and asked them to check grinding noise coming out of front driver side wheel. They called me and said I need lower ball joint replaced, with alignment it will be 430-ish. Everything else checked out fine. I refuse repair. Week later they called me saying they have special promo for one day; $100 off labor. My noise getting worse every day but when I step on brake it was not as bad. Following weekend I jack the car up, removed tire, checked brakes, and inside pad is almost all gone, metal wearing "sensor" peace was touching rotor. I replaced front brake pads in 1/2 hour and noise is all gone. I don't know how they come up with bad ball. Will not go back. read more
