Took a short road trip brought my car in to make sure fluids were good, brakes etc. I was told I should replace my spark plugs and some other things, basically a tune up. No problems before work, can't drive my car now because sparks are misfiring. It died on me while getting off freeway. Called and told them I would have my car towed in and they said they'd be waiting but they weren't. I ended up bringing to another mechanic. Aside from the misfiring, the mechanic advised me the hose firestone charged me for was not replaced they just tightened the clamp that holds it in. My car just isn't the same now. Last week, I was urged to take a $150 discount off my 3 tire purchase by simply getting and using own their credit card. Seemed too good to be true. Today I received my bill from the credit card company. Guess what the interest rate was? Would you believe 34% ? THIRTY FOUR PERCENT! Yikes! When I went back to complain, the salesman said, "nobody forced you to take the card. " Nice. I simply prepaid the entire amount, cut up their usurious credit card, and will NEVER RETURN. I brought my car in for new tires and to have my engine lights reset. There was a default in the electrical system. A day later I had my engine light and tire light come on. I had it diagnosed and it said the O2Sensor wasn't working. I ignored and had it reset because I had both O2Sensors replaced a year ago. It wasn't until I went to put windshield wiper fluid in that I noticed my AC Air Duct was missing. This is why the sensor light was on. Now I have to go and buy a new one because a mechanic doesn't know how to put a car back together. read more

Brought rental vehicle in for issue with tire and needing an oil change. This location took about 2.5 hours and called me to pick vehicle up. When I arrived older gentleman of the two that work the desk sat at computer never acknowledging that I was standing there. About 5 mins later, younger gentleman with "dreads"came in and asked if I got his message. Said that tire was not authorized to be fixed. Older gentleman got up and gave me my keys and sent me on my way. Between the two, they never said what issue was with tire except that they wouldn't recommend driving on it very long. Not sure if oil change was completed. Got in vehicle, this location didn't bother to even air up tire. Horrible service, bad communication. I took vehicle to another Firestone location first thing this morning. This location got authorization in 30 mins and have communicated what the issue is/was. Went there for an oil change, tire rotation, and a rotor needed to be turned on my 2005 SUV. It took them from 10 am to 3 pm, but I told them I was not in a hurry. Staff were courteous and price for everything was less than half of what "Jupiter Auto & Tire" in Jupiter quoted to rotate the disk alone. Firestone Complete Auto Care far exceeded my expectations in value for money and professionalism. I would recommend them to a friend for similar services, and I will go there again. UPDATE: downgraded from 5 to 3 stars Despite the good price, for some reason a huge amount was machined off my disk. With less than 50K miles, this was the first time the disk had been machined. They took it down from a stock thickness to the minimum spec allowable, and it was still grabbing a little. I can only believe there was some technical error in their machine or their procedure. I now have to buy a new wheel as this one is now minimum spec thickness, and .12" or more less than the other 3. read more

I had a simple issue of low tire pressure on fri t drivers side. I popped in was able to get taken care immediately. The price was discussed even before they took my car...$32.09. Result: punctured but no debris i.e. No screw or nail, just a hole. It was patched and good to go. Additionally all other tires were checked, along w my battery. Comfortable atmosphere, great customer service and priced right. On my way out, I inquired about another issue, they took the time to check my cabin filter for mold and mildew as living in Florida, I often times get a musty smell when running the fan but not the A/C. I called a different place to have the transmission fluid changed on my 2004 Dodge 1500 Ram. I was told to bring my truck in and they would look at the see if they would do the job - sounded like an odd response to me but I still showed up at 8:00 AM Monday morning. My truck has 108K miles; Trans last changed in 2009 with 44K miles; 70% Hwy miles; towed a 6K lb. camper for about 2 years occasionally. I have records of every service since I drove the truck off the lot brand new in 2004 - nothing major - usual as expected servicing. The guy looked at my truck; didn't start it; noticed the trailer brake. He checked the dip stick for Trans fluid and said he can feel too much grit (I felt very minimal; fluid was very clean still). He said he would not do the job cause he did not want to risk messing up Trans. I told him I would sign a waiver to be sure he was not responsible if the Trans failed in a 1000 miles. He still said no, he didn't want me to be angry with him if he changed the fluid and caused issues with Trans soon after. What a A-hole I thought. I went straight to the usual Firestone shop I use for tires and oil charges. (Why I didn't do this in the first place I do not know!!) They took the job in right away. Dropped the Trans pan, very little metal shavings and the shavings that were there were all caught by the internal magnet. Changed both filters, new gasket & all is good; done in less than 2 hours. Told me transmission is in great shape - no worries. Why did I go to the other clown in the 1st place...? Thanks again Firestone. read more

But John Allison, the Service Mgr politely explained the situation, thus mollifying my concern. He then ran the numbers for a new set of tires and offered me a deal I couldn't refuse. On the up side the employees were pleasant and my tires look great. On the downside it took these boys 3 hours to install 4 new tires and I HAD AN APPOINTMENT! In addition they do not ask if you want upgrades (like road hazard protection) they just add them to your bill. Now, a lot of tire installers have peasant employees and will make your tires look great. These two attributes do not overshadow taking 3 hours to perform the task and padding the bill without asking. I would have elected to purchase road hazard insurance, nevertheless I do not appreciate not being offered the option - it is, after all, an option, not a requirement to be added without permission. I don't expect to need tires for several years, 3 to 5 at least, and though this Firestone is very convenient to my home when it comes time to purchase tires again I'll shop elsewhere. read more

My wife and son use to like them until recently. They recently they told us the squealing in the engine was because the belts were worn out so we went ahead and had them change them out costing $275. We noticed the noise was even worse than before so we brought it back and they told me the AC compressor was the source of the problem and it would cost $1000.00 to fix. I decided to take it to get a second opinion and I'm glad I did. Turns out the rear belt tensioner was not adjusted correctly. Our NEW mechanic reached in and fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes. Also beware of their cheap oil changes. My wife was taking her car there for the cheap oil changes and the values started taping. I decided to change the oil on her car myself and I discovered how they can change the oil that cheap. They are using their own brand oil filters that look like they are made for a go cart. The filter was so small it couldn't have been filtering much of anything which I believed caused the values to start making noise. read more

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT take your car here. I went in for an oil change and now NO LONGER have my car (2010 Nissan Sentra w/ 87,000 miles which had no issues until this year after taking my car to this Firestone). I have gone to Firestone as a company ( in other states) for over 8 years but this one has been so bad that I will never take my car to a Firestone again. A few months back I went to take my car for an oil change and also asked them to fill up my tire since the tire light was showing low. When I got in my car the tire light was still on because they never went and filled it up. I didn't care as much because I could always go down the street and fill it up myself. But the next day, I pulled out of my parking spot and my car started making a really LOUD NOISE coming from the engine and it did not sound good so I took it back into the dealership explaining how I had just taken my car in to get an oil change and now it is making noise. They explained to me that they heard the noise but the noise was due to my engine mounts being busted. They also quoted me on some other items that I needed to get fixed totaling in over $2,100 dollars. I had told them if it was busted engine mounts why had I not heard the noise sooner, this was the first time I had heard the noise. He then started apologizing saying that he was going to have a long talk with his staff because it was something they should have caught and has been happening over time and that they had seen my car enough times with oil changes that they should of caught it sooner. Now going back until May of 2017, I had gone in because my AC was not working and mentioned neither was my horn. They told me it was because of my compressor and quoted me $1,600 dollars for a new AC compressor and new brakes which I had gotten fixed thinking that my car was almost paid off and that fixing this would be worth it. They told me they could not figure out the horn problem and that I would have to take it to a Nissan dealership which after going to a different dealership I found out it was a spring that was behind the horn. I mentioned to him if you guys had caught all these problems sooner... I may not have even put $1,600 into my car then. I took my car recently to a mechanic and he fixed all my issues they said was wrong with my vehicle and said a few the things I did not need that they said I did. He fixed my engine mount and the engine continued to make the noise. Eventually after having all these issues I decided to go ahead and just buy a new car. I could of put a total of $3,700 dollars into this car to find out that my engine was still messed up which started all after an OIL CHANGE with them. Please save your time, money and vehicle and take your vehicle elsewhere. Even for a simple oil change. I strongly believe that my vehicle started having multiple problems since they didn't notice the problems that I took the car in for and told me everything was fine. I had to commute to Miami today for work but my car wouldn't start! I immediately called this Firestone location because I have always had a great experience here! They told me they could fit me in, so we used jumper cables to get my car started and drove over ASAP! Jason the store manager took care of my car himself because he knew I only had an hour and there were 7 cars ahead of me. He replaced the battery and both terminal connectors.
