I was here May 17 to get AC Services done. My aunt recommended them to me and being a female that doesn't knows much about cars I trusted her. I must say that the customer service was AMAZING. However, they are good at baiting folks in to try and sell things they don't need. I was told my AC still wasn't working after replacing the line and that I would probably need to replace the compressor but we would have to "watch it". I sat and waited for them to check my car out and mysteriously my AC was working again. That lasted 2 days as my AC was blowing hot air again. Checked under the hood and you can literally see refrigerant leaking out of one the 2 locations I pointed out when I dropped my car. That frustrates the hell out of me when I spent almost $700 to fix it and I pointed out the problem, they didn't. The system was completely empty so I recharged it with more refrigerant and put a AC sealant in the system to plug any leaking holes and I have had AC non-stop since last week. It's safe to say I will not recommended to anyone and outside of the warranty on the parts I had replaced (God forbid anything happens to those parts) I won't come back. My boyfriend recommended me to use his mechanic from now on and I will take it there for future needs. Clearly my compressor is fine and does not need to be replaced. Why you would you recommend an $1100 service when I don't need it??? That's f***ked up and bad business. read more

I went in here to get a new tire put on my vehicle because they quoted me a great price, though it was a very basic tire and only rated for 40,000 miles. Anyway, they ended up putting the wrong size tire on my vehicle. Thankfully, I checked before driving away. It took them 45 minutes to put the first tire on which was exactly what they quoted me. So up until putting the wrong tire on I would have given them five stars. It was then another 30 minutes for them to put the right tire on. After that the tire low pressure light was still on, so it took them another 20 minutes to figure how to turn it off. I start driving home and the low pressure light comes back on, so I had to take it back in a second time. They eventually got everything fixed, but it took two trips and four hours to get one tire changed and the light to turn off. I think part of the blame lies with the newness of the vehicle and its complexities, but putting the wrong tire on was their fault. I wouldn't say don't come here, but make sure you check their work to see if it was done right, and I would hope I am the exception and not the norm. read more

Fast, great price, friendly service and my car is running smoothly. The bathrooms are nice and clean as well. They must have known I was waiting because my car was ready a half hour before the invoice time said it was due to be. The only disappointment I have is that I wish they would had offered me the high mileage oil change, especially since there was a rebate offer through PayPal. They knew when I made my appointment that my car could have used that service and it would have been nice to have known I could have done a PayPal transaction. I may try to see if I can contact them not to say that the service was bad but to see if I can get that rebate for next time, because it expires before my next oil change is due and that is a great offer. Customer service was very helpful from the beginning. I came in for a brakes after driving from So Cal. They asked me what I needed done and showed me what they saw. I have used the services at this location for three years now, and have had a positive experience every time. The staff has been very friendly and courteous. They have not been too pushy about suggesting extra services, and I have had no problems after any of the work they have done on my cars. Today they were able to accommodate me for fixing a flat tire, even though they were already booked and short on staff. It was done in less than an hour! read more

I was alerted by my car that the pressure in one of my tires was getting low on my way home from the airport and immediately panicked because 1.) it was Saturday night and very few places are open on Sunday and 2.) Snow was forecasted for Monday. This place was open and was able to fit me in. I waited for about 45 min and as it turns out, the pressure in all my tires was low because of sitting in the cold for 3 weeks without use. They filled my tires and gave some honest advice about using nitrogen in tires (turns out its just another way to get money out of people). I was not charged for the time/the air fill up. Like every Firestone I've ever been to, this place does what you need and nothing you don't for a good price and doesn't try to rip you off. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Service advisor, Darian, was helpful, quick, and responsive. I've always been skeptical about showing up to mechanics by myself, but he didn't try to up-sell me with anything. I came in for an synthetic oil change, which would cost more than $90 at a Toyota dealership just for a general inspection, but only spent $53 here at Firestone. Great deal and friendly service. Got my tired rotated! Now that I'm driving 40 miles a day it really adds up! My commute for three years was six mi a day! I had to remind myself for oil changes. Great staff here! I haven't been in quite sometime but they greeted me by name and knew what I was scheduled for! And no charge! Since I bought 2 tires here! I had a really fantastic experience at Firestone this morning. I blew a tire last night and after 2 hours of standing in the cold and rain waiting for roadside assistance and paying the renew my AAA which had expired, the last thing I wanted to do was sit and wait - and pay - for what I knew was going to be a replacement of at least two tires. Turns out I needed all of my tires replaced, but David not only made sure I got a good deal, he and the other employees were upbeat, polite and fun on a busy, rainy morning. My cost was definitely reasonable and my mood wasn't ruined thanks to a great atmosphere. This was my first time at a Firestone but it definitely won't be my last. read more

F this place!!! Not only do they do lousy repairs but I had about 500$ worth of items stolen out of my vehicle while it was being serviced there. When I dropped it off the compartments in the back were locked. When I picked it up everything was open and missing! To top it off the repairs they did didn't work! Complete waste of time and they took forever to do it! They must have thieves working for them and worthless so called mechanics. read more

Decent price if you find coupons and use there lifetime replacement services. They will suggest some unnecessary services sometimes because they go by mileage, not necessarily your records with them. They once said I need my breaks adjusted and cleaned although the same shop installed new breaks about 2 weeks prior. read more

Stay away, the new staff is dishonest and focused on upselling. I had 4 tires with the old staff and had no issues when problems arose. I recently had a vibration issue and was advised to get all tires balanced. That didn't work and I told them, no problem, We can just apply those funds to the new repair. The store offered to replace all four tires, and apply the funds plus a mileage reimbursement because my tires weren't very worn. So far so good. I was told my car would be ready at 2pm . When I showed up to pickup my car at 5pm it hadn't even been worked on. I ended up being the last customer to leave. Thank you for wasting my time. In addition, I was advised to replace my front struts. I was a little surprised because my struts were just recently replaced. After providing that information, the problem miraculously changed and I was advised my driver front toe was out and couldn't be adjusted, but a oval bolt could solve the problem. What a miracle! Needless to say, I left without taking them up on either offer. The problems continued. When I got in my car the next morning my low tire pressure indicator light was on. I checked pressure on all four tires. My passenger rear was 12lbs low. I immediately put air in the tire and thought maybe it was a little under inflated and the temperature change was a possible reason. Two days later the problem persisted. I called and made another appointment to get it resolved. I arrived @5:15 for my 5:30 Appointment, but was told my car would be ready at close. So what's the point of an appointment? I digress. I left and went home. At 6:30 I was called and told the problem was a failed Tpms sensor which was going to cost $119 to fix!!! Well I can buy 4 tpms sensors for that! Not to mention I never had that problem prior to the tire replacement. I refused and told them to fix it at their cost. The tech said he had to call and get manager approval. I waited and finally was told the manager approved the tpms replacement. Literally two minutes later I get a call and am told everything is fixed and my car is ready. I show up to pickup the car and the tech working the counter is extremely rude. I asked him if the tpms sensor was replaced and he says NO !!! He says the tpms sensor gasket was replaced and that fixed the problem. Can you believe it, another miracle!!!! Lucky me!!!! (Sarcasm) I am sure the tire will still leak and I will be back to fight the powers that be and their upsell machine. Stay away, but if you must, be sure to challenge everything and demand proof. I made an appointment to drop my car off to have new tires put on it at 2pm today. They had told me over the phone that it would take an hour. When my fiance went to drop it off, he was told it wouldn't be done until 5-5:30pm. Kinda defeats the purpose of an appointment. I get off work at 5pm and had plans for the evening. At 5:40pm, they told him it would be done "soon". At 6:27pm, the work was finally complete. I was really disappointed with the slowness of the service and the continuous inaccurate time estimates. I cane here for an oil change recently and I had a schedule appointment for 11:00am. They told me at first it would take 45-1hr to have an oil change with an inspection. I then asked could I not have an inspection and just an oil change. The oil change came up to 41.39 for a small car and I didn't leave the place until 12:15. Luckly i found a coupon online to knock 10$ off and also they continued to do the inspection even though I asked them not to. Do not come here it is high priced and a waste of time. They will charge you the worst prices and take a lot of time to do the job read more

The absolute worst Car place ever. I had an appointment here to get my car inspected and it failed Inspection due to it needing new windshield wipers. So I made another appointment for 8:30am to get the wipers approved so that it could pass inspection. I waited over 5 freaking hours sitting in the waiting area just for them to check the wipers. I was told that my car would be done at 12. When 12:30 rolled around I asked if it was done and Adrian at the front desk said no and I told him it only needed one thing to be checked and why was it taking so long. He ignored me and him and his coworkers proceeded to laugh hysterically and goof off. He then told me they where looking at the car but No one was doing their job and it was very frustrating. They complained about customers and ate chicken wings out in the open and where very boisterous. 1:30pm rolled around and again I asked Adrian where my car was and he said it hadn't even been looked at yet. He straight up lied to me saying it was being looked at when it wasn't and I said "I made an appointment for 8:30. It's been over 5 hours. How long does it take to look at some windshield wipers?" He said very snootily "well they are looking at a car rn who had an appointment before you and as soon as they are done they'll take a look at your car. " Adrian and his coworkers proceeded to goof off. It was 3pm when my car was finally done. Worst place ever. I'll never come back here. These people goofed off , complained and slacked off. A few years ago my husband got new tires put on my car and decided to get the warranty because who wouldn't!! Recently I got a nail in one of my tires, forgetting what the warranty was we took it here and was told it was covered. Unfortunately the tires I have aren't made anymore so I was offered 1) they would do research to try to find the same tire in the local area and/or 2) a brand new one. Without a word being said the research was done and no tire was found. So they put a brand new tire on my car! I did have a small fee but that was okay in my book. They were apologetic because it couldn't have been done right then, which was fine. Left the car for a couple hours and came back and had a brand new tire! Very friendly place with exceptional service. I would definitely go back here for all my tire needs. read more

I will say I am weary of auto business in general, I always feel like they are trying to take advantage of their customers. After getting two flats in the same week, I did a lot of shopping around and from the moment I walked into the store, I felt a good vibe. The tire manager David was friendly and warm, The manager (who's name escapes me for the moment) were amazing. I thought it would be better to get a patch because of my budget and return for tires later, but the deal I was able to get really helped me out and gave me a huge piece of mind as I drive at least 50 miles one way 5-6 times a week for work. They also gave me a great deal on tire hazards for the life of the tire and anybody who drives these horrible roads know what kind of blessing tire hazard can be. Was extremely disappointed with the service. I called them weeks in advance to make arrangements for a van to be towed to them and repaired. I was buying the van site unseen and driving it back to AZ. I asked that everything be checked out and safe for the drive. Had the van towed the day before my arrival like they requested so I could authorize the rapairs. Called several times the day it was brought there to see how it was going. Needless to say they did not look at it until after closing. I was also told I should wait to come until after they look at it. Explained to them again I was flying in from AZ and needed it ready like I was promised. Finally got a call back and was told it just needed shocks, tired, belt and battery. Told them to do the work and would be there by 4 the following day and it was important the van was ready so I could get in the road. Needed to say they close at 7 and they did not finish the van till after closing. We sat and waited until done. Once it was ready we choose to stay in the area for the night because it was so late. On the drive to hotel the check engine light came on. Called them back in the a.m and was told they could not see today. Took it to another shop and was told they put on the wrong shocks but they were to busy to fit me in. We decided to get in the road and stoped at another firestone. They are finally fixing it right. Was told if I had continued to drive the van it would have cost me thousands to fix the engine. Do not go to this firestone. Laziest group of people I have ever meet. read more

Nicole called me and asked me to bring the car back and that they would work something out to make the situation better. I went in today to have a brake check, and Nicole assured me that my brakes and rotors looked completely fine. I just had my second visit to this Firestone in the last two weeks. During my first visit, I had to have a tire replaced due to road hazard damage in a new construction area. I did not have road hazard protection on these relatively new tires, but the builder picked up the tab for the replacement. I was offered a highly-discounted rate for hazard protection for the new and remaining tires. It was too good a deal to pass up, so I got it for less than the cost of one tire repair service. And so today, I found a new flat, installed the spare, drove to Firestone...in and out in 30 minutes...no cost! They really have their customers' best interest at heart. 5 read more

I have spent 1500.00 getting my old and rather skeevy Aveo repaired here in the past six months. Went for tire repair today and was told that my serpentine belt was cracked and needed replacement. Interesting that they went under the hood for my tire. I was informed that this was all a part of the visual courtesy inspection. Cool that, except that I was in a month ago complaining about a squeeling noise and asked for them to visually inspect my engine because I was hearing a squeeling noise. As a former area service manager for GM, I believed that this was a belt problem. This inspection would have cost me 69.00. Mike, the service manager, was my service writer and advised that for 99.00 they would also check out my service engine soon light. I did so. Jack ass me! They got codes stored from the service engine soon light being on (duh...it went out every third time I started the vehicle) and suggested that I have my fuel pump assembly replaced. I did it (again...jack ass me). The cost was 1100.00. Service engine soon light came on the day after the repair, and the squeel was still there. I didn't go back. In part, because I am a teacher working two jobs and knew that the steady service engine soon light was not such a big deal. Fast forward to today when I talked to the service manager and asked why the belt wasn't diagnosed last month. His repy "The technichian was so involved in your primary compaint (service engine soon light) that he didn't address anything else. He's not here today." When I explained that that was not my primary complaint...it was squeeling, his response that the service writer didn't put that on the RO. HE WAS THE SERVICE WRITER, and when I requested another of the copy of the RO..there it was...in capital letters. He could check again for codes at no cause to me as long as the repair represented a failure in fuel pump, but it would take time. In the original RO there were four codes stored. I do believe that they chose the most expensive "fix" and applied it. Chances of that being the fuel pump were close to nill and I was not in any position for them to throw parts at it until they found the fix. When I pointed this out, his response was that they do not demand that you have repairs, that it is the customers choice.I thanked him for that and asked them to replace my tire and fix the belt. Done. Except that the technician quite dramatically brought in my spare (a dough nut) smacked it down on the counter and said that this was not safe to drive on. I thanked him for his input and told him to put it back in the boot. Oh wait, forgot to mention that when they told me that my tire could not be repaired and needed replacing, the price they gave me included the road hazard insurance. I told them to take it off. Oy...so in the past 6 months I have had a three hundred dollar bill....I hit a pot hole really hard and badly damaged my rim so I had the front tires and the rim replaced...an 1100.00 bill that did nothing to repair my original complaint...and a 188.00 bill, so amazing that this repair fixed the squeeling noise I came in with at the end of November. Today while sitting in the shop I heard Mike offering all sorts of things to other customers...no assistance has been offered to me. I understand how hard the business is. In my former career I audited dealerships. I respect the technicians work...but every RO should have complaint, cause and correction. A good service manager makes sure that these things are consistant. Long story but here's the thing....Mike seems really interested in keeping his RO cost (for the customer) as high as possible. Avoid this place not because they can't do the work, but because the service manager is far more interested in his bottom line than repairing the vehicle or helping the customer. This is not particular to this business, just something to keep in mind when dealing with them. read more

So far we've brought our cars in for an AC diagnostic, about 6 oil changes, and purchased 4 tires. Every experience has been "5 star" positive. I don't know any of the mechanics well, but I've dealt with those who man the front desk many, many times, and they are all so great! I'm not an easy customer to deal with, but they always listen to what I have to say, patiently answer my many questions, help me to better understand my car, and treat women equal to men. I will continue to bring my cars to this shop for what I hope continues to be routine maintenance! (Fingers crossed- cars are hitting 100K!) Wish there was a 0 stars options! I had family visiting from out of town and the tire pressure sensor broke on one of the tires. I work on cars a lot and so does my cousin who was visiting but we did not have a bead breaker to break the bead of the tire to change out the tire pressure sensor. Figured we would go to the closest shop and ask them to just break the bead on the tire for us (takes literally less than 2 minutes). First thing the lady at the counter says is how are you going to balance and rotate it after? So we just repeated what we needed again without being rude. She then looks at another worker to ask him if they could do it. He starts laughing and says maybe tomorrow because we're so busy. He didn't even hear what we needed to have done. Literally just break the bead on 1 tire! That's it! I wanted to just go back there and do it myself and leave them 10 bucks but I had to control my self. Anyways never again. I'am from Virginia Beach where almost any of the shops would have gladly done this for free just to have a return customer busy or not. I hate the auto service in MD period and I have even been here a full year yet. read more

It's been several years since I've been to any Firestone location. Today, I hit a pothole that sliced my rear passenger side tire. While waiting for roadside assistance, I searched for the nearest auto repair shop...turns out it was this Firestone location. I called to get quotes and was told to bring the car in. I admit the salesman's told me once I arrived there would be a wait (it took the roadside assistance guy about an hour to arrive and no more than 10mins to put the spare on). It took Firestone 2.5hrs to install the new tire; granted I shouldn't have sat there that long. Here's the kicker, the guy in front of me when I was about to checkout also needed a tire replaced. Guess what the salesman (a different one) did, he asked a technician if he could go ahead and replace the tire for this guy and guess what happened next, the technician said "ok" and proceeded to the car of the guy who had only recently entered the facility. Why have one customer wait for 2.5hrs for service that takes 20mins tops, when any reasonable technician would just go ahead and replace a freakin tire?????? read more
