Brought my car in for the engine squealing. $490 and 7 hours later the engine still squeals. It was apparently not the costly rear shock replacement causing the noise, even though I told them the sound is coming from THE FRONT OF THE CAR. They lied about test driving it because they said it was fixed after the first trip. As soon as I start to pull away from my parking spot it immediately squeals again. Then after going back and waiting for another hour they say "sorry can't help, we don't know what's wrong". Go somewhere else. read more

Made appointment and ordered tires 4 days early for my very generic vehicle. Called a few minutes prior to appointment to be told it's their policy not to actually order the tires until I arrived so I would have to wait 4 hours for delivery. Took off morning from work to have installed. Waste of time and company. Go somewhere else and save the headache. read more

BASE SPECIFIC REVIEW I'm basing this review off of how quickly I was helped and not made to feel like a burden. I happen to be at the shopette on base using the air machine to put air in my car tires. The next thing so know I go from having 31 PSI, to 19 PSI. I went inside to ask for help, thinking it was user error maybe. The clerk told me, "Oh, that's because the machine is broken and actually removes air from your tires." I asked why there was not a note on the unit. She replied, "someone keeps taking it off." SIGH! She then said that I can go behind the shopette, where Firestone is and they will put air in my tires at no charge. So I drove behind the shopette to the firestone. As I pulled up I did not know if I was in the right spot, since I have not been there yet. But, an employee came out from one of the bays to help me. I told him what had happened and he was quick to help. No questions asked, and he did not seem bothered by helping me. They must get a lot of people coming back there. He could have easily been annoyed that his day keeps getting interrupted, but he did not. Thank you kind sir for being there to help! Firestone has always treated me well. Well.. until today. I asked for an oil change, 1hr later still not done. We ask FOREST about how much longer and he instructs that they're only 1/2 way through. An hour and 40 min goes by and another man is working the desk, gets the keys and helps us out. There was no wait time. There was also no other cars in the shop. No apologies. Honest work and was never told I needed anything I didn't need. They have reasonable prices, for a chain auto repair store. However, they have no respect for your time! Twice now I've told them when I dropped the car off that I needed it back by a certain time and both times they left me hanging. She has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced, she tries to make customers feel inadequate regarding any questions, she acts like a know it all but in reality can not answer simple questions regarding vehicle questions. Any time I've had questions or tried to schedule anything she asks questions and when I try to walk away I've been called back and given more attitude followed by the attempt at degradation of knowledge over literally the smallest thing. Dropped off my car for passenger front power window not working. They charged me 214.00 for a 90.00 regulator. They installed it, put everything back together and called me saying it was finished. When I picked it up, window still didn't work. That's when they informed me that the switch is also bad and a new one costs $100. This switch only costs 30.00 at the Chevy dealer. I called this location on Tuesday and got a quote and an appointment for Wednesday August 23. I was told the store opened at 0700 and I agreed to drop my car off at that time. I had a co-worker go out of his way to pick me up and then another drop me off at 1600 , which is when I told the attendant I would be off duty. I went to the counter to pay and pick up my car and was told there was no record of an appointment , my car wasn't done and there were still 2 cars in line ahead of me. This is completely unacceptable and egregious. I had an appt. Even if I didn't, am I to believe that in 8 hours the very first car dropped off couldn't get 2 tires installed? Totally unacceptable. I will not ever consider this location for service of any kind again under any circumstance and I will be sure that all my friends and co-workers are made aware of the horrible customer service that I received. There are a lot of options for new tires. I need not revisit a location that provides this low level of service.They not only lost out on $200 worth of business today, but you lost a customer for life and potentially other customers when this story gets out.
