I made an appointment at the Firestone located in Narcoossee near Walmart on November 5th at 4PM. I figured they would start working on my car immediately or within at most 15 to 30 minutes. Very nice people. VERY TERRIBLE SERVICE. Went to the Lake Nona Firestone at 11966 Narcoosee Rd. Brought my Vehicle in for an A/C check. During which I explained to them the air only blew out the dash as opposed to the vents. At some point hours into the service ( I brought my vehicle in when they opened around 8:00.) They informed me the brakes were worn and should be serviced. I reluctantly agreed because while the brakes were completely functional, it seemed reasonable to address this. I told them so long as this was something that could be completed today, I would be fine with this. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. I was told this would take a few hours. 10 HOURS & $2300 LATER-- Not only was the job incomplete the breaks were less functional than when I brought the car in. I was told I would need to order a special part to address this and spend another $400. To top it all off the MAIN REASON I CAME the AIR CONDITION was completely unresolved. I was told this would require replacing the entire console to fix the A/C which would have to be ordered from the dealer. Came back the next day for them to finish the breaks and finally address the A/C (The PRIMARY REASON I CAME IN THE FIRST PLACE!!)-- Only for them to tell me this was an impossible fix that would require me to go to a junkyard for the part. After it was all said and done-- I spent nearly $3000 and didn't actually get what I came there for... The entire visit was a complete waste of time and money. I left frustrated, went home googled "A/C Defroster fix" bought $10 Vacuum tubing from Advanced Auto Parts, popped the hood and fixed the "impossible" A/C problem myself in less than 10 minutes. read more

Everytime i come to this place their is always some kind of problem. Today I was the 2nd customer with a 7am appointment and it still took 2 hours to change my oil. Unbelievable. I will be going back to the curry ford Firestone that I used to deal with. Much more professional and efficient. read more

I won't be returning to this location again. I'm a young woman in my 20s who looks younger than my age. I bought my tires here a few months ago and was told to buy the road hazard insurance on my tires. I politely declined and the auto care advisor I was speaking to insisted about 3 times that I needed it, and I really felt that he was trying to convince the naive young girl to pay more money, after I declined several times. This week I had scheduled an appointment for 8 am for an oil change before work. They said on the phone it takes an hour. I dropped my car off at 8 and came back at 9 and my car wasn't even in the garage yet. I asked about the estimated time it would be ready just as it arrived in the garage, and they said 15 mins... it took an hour. It shouldn't take 2 total hours to get an oil change, especially when you have an appointment. If I have an early appointment, I'd expect to at least have my service started before they said it would be done. I also understand that people can be preoccupied, they might be short staffed, or they had other problems that took priority for some reason, but I at least expect an explaination or a call that it is taking longer than expected. For the last two years I have been a loyal exclusive customer of the narcoossee Rd location, as my work is within walking distance, I leave the car as I go to work, and walk to pick it up when I get off work. My car has 50k miles and never had anything done to the brakes. To budget I asked can I get a brake inspection and tell me a percentage left on brake pads? I was told it had a $10 inspection fee. Ok, no big deal, I'd save more than $10 if I can catch the pads before they grind metal on metal. I never got an answer. On my next visit today, I asked what was the answer as I didn't get one, and a guy in a red polo shirt, assumed to be a manager, told me he would have them inspect it and get the percentage to me. I picked up car and inspection report tech fills out has nothing written under brakes. I asked the counter guy who told me 'Yeah, Probability its half" I asked him is that fact or is he guessing. His answer to my question was asking how I would like to pay. I'm done. I used them excluively and I loved it when Annie the previsous manager was there. You would ask a question and you get an answer, and if she didn't know it, she told you to your face but she would find out. I respect honest answers. Do not guess. The only reason I gave them two stars is because of two prior years of excellent service, but I won't be back. I wonder if there is a way to find out which location Annie is at now, as I'll go there if she is still with the company. read more

I've been here twice, once for a flat and once for an oil change. They fixed the flat on the spot, and to top it off, it was free since I bought the coverage when I bought the tires! The oil change went smoothly since I made an appointment, and they do not have high pressure sales people. Honestly, with it being a chain store, I thought it was going to be an ordeal. All I needed was to have a headlight replaced. Waited over an hour for them to even bring my car back, even though I had made an appointment. They took the cars of 2 men that came in after me ahead of mine. I'm sure they must have had appointments, but so did I. My car just sat out front while the men's cars were serviced. Eventually I had to go ask them when they were going to take my car back to do the repair. They did not apologize or indicate they had forgotten in error or anything. I get it, it's a simple repair and anyone can do it, but then have someone do it and then move on to the repairs that take longer. Or tell me there's going to be a wait or something! I had a lot I needed to do that day and I felt that it was disrespectful. If I were a middle aged man I'm sure my car would have been brought back right away just like the 2 middle aged men who came in after me. That said, as soon as they brought the car back, they completed it in like 10 mins and I was on my way. Just wish they had prioritized me as a customer sooner. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon. Women, especially younger women, I'd be slightly wary of this place trying to take advantage of you. Maybe they won't, and I'm sure it depends on who's working that day, but just pay attention if you get your car serviced here. read more

I've had good and bad experiences with firestones in the past but they have been mostly good. I ended up coming to this location because I have a friend who has taken her car here and had good service. They put new shocks and struts on my car. My only issue is I dropped it off 30 minutes after opening, with an appointment and with the specification that it be done by 3 and the guarantee it would...and it didnt get done until 5. I could understand if I had just walked in and made no appointment, but they knew i was coming, and how much work it would be and they still went over the amount of time. The bad part was they were closing at 530 that day so I had to be there before 530 when they called me at 5 saying it was done. I barely made it but I did, otherwise I would have been without a car for the night due to them taking longer than they were supposed to. BUT they did a good job, charged a reasonable rate and werent a total pain. read more

This Firestone is great, They don't try to find everything that you don't need to charge you 3,000.00 out the door when you came in for an oil change. I took my lifted jeep Wrangler in expecting them to find 25 things at least wrong with it. they gave it a clean bill of health. And a special Thanks to Giovanni for being so Professional. Scheduled an appointment with these guys today and one hour before they just cancelled -- their excuse was their repairmen didn't show up for work. I chose the weekend for this job so that I wouldn't have to miss work. And the representative tried to explain that it would take time to do the repair work that I wanted and a weekday would be better, which wasn't the repair that I requested. I thought by going into a nationally recognized company with a stellar reputation, that the customer service and professionalism would be a given. Unfortunately, at this location that is not the case. I came in with 3 specific issues to be addressed. The service rep, while pleasant, kept interrupting my intake to answer the telephone. I waited patiently through all the interruptions. She told me that it would take approximately 90 minutes to complete the diagnostic. Approximately 90 minutes later, I asked her for an update. She went to the mechanic for an update. She returned with pricing, having totally ignored the second issue and confirming that it had not even been addressed. She explained two of the other issues as "the brakes calling out to me" and "axle making an ugly sound". The cost of repairs for each of those items was $349 and $250, respectively. When I asked for greater clarification on these costly issues, the rep acted like she was insulted. Considering that I found those descriptions inadequate and to some degree patronizing, I was not going to make a financial decision based on such vague answers. The mechanic ultimately showed me his concerns to which we discussed the best course of action. As I returned to lobby, the agent left. When she returned, she came in yelling my name repeatedly in spite of standing in front of me seeing that I was on the telephone. Considering that I exercised patience, waiting nearly 2 hours, that she could not wait for me to get off the phone. As a simple aside I corrected her and a person I believe to be the service manager on my name, I guess they turned it into a joke in the shop. As I could hear them yelling my name making a joke of it. I can't believe how juvenile this was. The only reason, I didn't give 1 -Star, is that Nelson Gayahan, the store manager, was a consummate professional. Unfortunately, it had to arise to the point that there was an issue before he was alerted. Firestone should ensure that its staff is similarly trained to ensure loss of business. As a business owner of 17 years, to see such disrespect and immaturity is disappointing and will hopefully be addressed. I will not return to this business, nor can I recommend this business to anyone else, but hope that Mr. Gayahan will find himself surrounded by staff that won't chase business away. Jc read more

Definitely not the best firestone out there. Every Firestone I have ever been I have walked in and been taken care of, no appointment. A few months ago my boyfriend went there to get an oil change and was told he had to make an appointment two days in advance. He went somewhere else since he planned to use his day off to get an oil change. I thought I would give them a try. I called and made a same day appointment. I had an oil change and tire rotation done. Last time I had a tire rotation done they automatically put air in my tires. This time I asked for them to put air in my tires just to be on the safe side. I get my car back and they did not put air in my tires. My PSI was still 30/31 when it should be 35. read more

Do not take your car here. They only take easy, over priced jobs. They do not have qualified technicians to properly diagnose complicated issues. They also install junk parts that barely make it through their warranty period. Do yourself a favor and find a quality garage. There is one right down the street called World automotive. read more

Vehicle was dropped off lift. Horrible customer service. I have been taking my six work vehicles for ten years now and recently had service done in an attempt to receive an oil change and tire alignment. When I received my vehicle, the rear cargo door and side door frames were crushed. Additionally, the undercarriage showed evidence that the van slipped off the hydraulic lift. I brought the van back three times in an attempt to get the van fixed and the manager denied responsibility. My van was declared totaled. Last time I'll go here! read more

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A WOMAN!!!! i went here because i got a low tire pressure warning, so i thought i had a flat. i took my car right over and had them look at the tire. they told me it was too much damage and they couldn't patch it, so they put my spare on (on the front may i add which my car is front wheel drive so you DONT do that) and tried to talk me into different new tire packages. Me being a woman not wanting to spend that much money if i dont think i need it decided to go home and discuss with my boyfriend. we made the mistake of buying tires before we actually looked at the damaged tire ourselves. today we actually pulled out the piece of metal that was stuck in the tire and it was not even half an inch long, my bf said they could have definitely fixed it and they played me. so now im out $300 when they could have patched my tire and let me go on, they just wanted my money and they knew they could take advantage of me. thankfully i ordered tires somewhere else because i didnt trust Firestone anymore and they alerted me of the same thing, that the damage to the tire was not enough to trash it. read more

The work firestone EVER! I brought my car here in on a Monday due to my a.c. not keeping cool. I paid for a diagnostic and ended up getting the a.c recharged. 5 days later(Saturday) my a.c. starts intermittently turning on/off. I brought it back 915 a.m. At 2pm I called them to check on my status. My car wasn't even pulled in yet. They told me I had 2 more cars in front then they will get to me. So at 530pm I called back again seeing that they close at 6pm. My car was just being checked and they told me I needed 2 parts in which they had to order. The parts will not get in until mid day Sunday and they will not have it completed until MONDAY. I completely understand a business being busy and the fact that I did not have an appointment. However, I did not once get a call saying what was going or the delay(after my promised time)so that I could at least plan my day otherwise. I basically wasted an entire day without anything being fixed. I ended up calling around to another Firestone to find the parts and getting it fixed there instead. The manager offered me a discount but I would rather pay full price somewhere else than to give this place $1. Awful..awful customer service. Very honest and friendly. They did not try to oversell. However; the 2 hour estimate turned out to be 6 hours. But I did overhear the Service Advisor speaking about being short on mechanics due to a couple of illnesses. We just moved to this area so didn't know there was a Firestone close by. I took it first to the dealership to get it fixed. They wanted to charge me 550.00 plus 45.00 to look at the car. Not to mention the guy there was already telling me he knew how expensive it would be just by listening to the car. Wow. A friend told me I should call Firestone. When I did, George told me to bring the car in and he would let me know. They were so much nicer, and got the job done for less than half of what they were going to charge me at the dealership for the same thing. He explained things to me and then went to work. They stayed to make sure we were taken care completely and went absolutely above and beyond. They will forever have my business and I will be telling everyone about the service I received - at both Firestone and the dealership. I had a nail in between the tread of my tire and they said I needed to get a new tire. They said the tread runs from a 10 to a 3- 10 being a new tired and great- and that my tires were a 7 yet needed to all be replaced. I was asking several questions because I didn't understand why they couldn't patch it. The nail was maybe a little over an inch long and a few millimeters in width. They insisted on getting a new tire and coming back to replace the other 3 within the week so the tires matched. I went to discount tire for a second opinion and they patched it FOR FREE in under 20 minutes and guaranteed the patch for the life of the tire. I waited for over an hour at Firestone to have nothing done with my tire and to be mislead. Maybe it's because I'm a young females that this happened but I felt taken advantage of. This is the second time I had poor service here and I will not be coming back. I would like to be respected and treated like they would treat their own family. read more

People are all nice, and service might be good. The office is very clean. You can walk to some shopping or coffee shop. Estimate time is not accurate... With appointments, first time, I waited almost 2 hours just for oil change where I was told it will be about an hour. and second time, oil change and inspection, I was told it will be a little bit over one hour and I ended up waiting 3 hours...unless you are dropping off the car, and won't return all day, it wouldn't be recommended...
