Both service writers and the technician who performed the work were all extremely transparent about everything related to work done. Worst of the worst. Imagine the worst repair shop you can think of, now multiply that by 1000 -- you're still not even close. Took my car in for an oil change and they took it upon themselves to change and flush the transmission fluid too -- told me it was dirty and then had the nerve to charge me for a service I didn't ask for. Now, I am having transmission issues. Will take them to court. Rude management and service as well. Never going back. You get what you pay for. read more

Went in because I accidentally got an OBD2 pin bent and was charged $150 to "diagnose" this was indeed true. Ridiculous. Add labor to replace the $50 port and I was looking at $550. Will NEVER do business again with such a dishonest shop. read more

When I first came to Fast Lane, I was met with great customer service and they made sure of what my car symptoms and concerns were first and made sure I knew every step of the way. The diagnostic took about an hour and they were great at showing videos and notes of what they found and along with any other things that are wrong with the car. It shows levels of what's critical to what's good. They were amazing with the level of care of how they were quick with the process. I was able to approve and disapprove what ever services I wanted/ could afford and made me feel at ease. Usually when I go to a mechanic I'm always met with heavy persuasion or almost being forced to pay ridiculous amounts for additional stuff I didn't even ask. Here at Fast Lane, they showed me everything and gave me the decisions of what I want and didn't want. It helped me navigate through the site and after I approve on services, they ordered the parts and was able to finish my car the next day. Even after I left their parking site to go to the gas station and when my car wouldn't start, I called them and explained what was happening. Sean was super nice and was able to come to me and assist me then and there. Their prices are very fair and we're willing to work with me as well. I had such a good experience that I feel much confident about my car being good and will keep using them for any future problems. read more

Poor poor poor. The only thing good about this place is the customer service. The technicians are incompetent. The prices are exorbitant. I would seriously recommend taking your issue to the dealer. In the long run it will be cheaper and you will have ASE certified technicians working on your vehicle. But some of you will want to learn the hard way. read more

I've brought my work trucks in for a while now but I'm tired of them there super expensive wen claim to have a three-year warranty but if you take your car there, they'll find something different every time both my work trucks are crippled because of this place I've wasted thousands of dollars and it almost feels like every time there's something missing something else is broken. If you want your car fixed correctly the first time around, I would highly advise against bring it here. I have brought them several vehicles over the years, each one left the shop the first time around with issues remaining and my wallet empty. However, their customer service is decent, earning them an extra star. 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan: Paid $6000+ for a new engine + transmission, as well as a 3 year/30000 mile warranty. Less than 3 months later, the engine had a catastrophic mechanical failure due to faulty/worn out parts (it was a remanufactured engine). They told me it's no longer under warranty since "I had just barely gone above the 30000 mileage limit" (~120 miles over). They informed me it would cost $1600 to repair it. After some back and forth over the phone, I informed them that I would be picking up the vehicle as I was going to sell it. When they heard it was going to be sold, they repaired the engine "under warranty as a courtesy" (they most likely already completed the work at that point without my authorization). About a week after I picked it up, I get a notification from CarFax stating that there was a mileage inconsistency in the history report as Fast Lane had falsely reported the mileage being over 10000 miles more than what the odometer read. I didn't think it was a big deal at the time, and I had chalked the whole thing up as an honest mistake. I only later realized this was done so I would not be able to sell the car in the first place. Little did they know I had already sold the car even before I came to pick it up that day. 2014 Toyota Venza: Came in 4 DIFFERENT TIMES to have the same rattling and vibration issues fixed. First time around, they replaced the engine & transmission mounts for $1100. Less than a month later, I was back in with the same symptoms for the second time. They replaced the mounts again under warranty stating the failure happened due to defective parts. 4 months after the second time, I was experiencing the same issue again, as well as some vibrations coming from my steering wheel. I took it in once again where I paid an additional $1200 to have the steering/intermediate shaft replaced, and the mounts were replaced under warranty for the third time. 2 months after my third repair, I was once again experiencing the exact same issues. This time, I asked that they replace the mounts and shaft under warranty with original Toyota parts rather than their low quality "defective" aftermarket parts. Just a week later, my steering was still rattling. It turns out they had misdiagnosed the issue the first time around, and it was a steering damper rather than the shaft the whole time. Not only did they waste my time, they wasted their own time, money, and resources due to their incompetence. This was the last, and final time I brought a vehicle to them. Looking at the positives, they have decent customer service, and were not hesitant at all to accept responsibility for their shortcomings. Since the first time I have brought my vehicle to them, they have changed the way they keep customers updated. Previously, you would have to call in to get updates as they would not have contacted you at the time they would promise/estimate. Now, they send you estimates and consistent updates through text to keep you in the loop at all times. I truly believe their management is top notch, however, they have room to improve. Bringing in competent mechanics/techs would be a good start. I would much rather trust a mechanic who is an expert on one type of car rather than one who claims expertise with all types of cars. read more

I'm overly impressed with this company. We were traveling from Virginia to Orlando, Florida and of course the oil notification comes on. We called a few places to check out prices and see how soon it could be done. Fast Lane was able to get us in and get us out in less than an hour. Not only was the customer service great, but while waiting had wifi and was able to knock out some homework. On top of that there were plenty of snacks and drinks out if you wanted something while waiting. If ever in the area again and need our car serviced will definitely return to them. read more

Worst experence ever. Paid $2,000 for my 2008 Audi A6, over heating issue tuned into so many other issues by the time they got done with it, my A/C was no longer working, coolent mixing into my oil according to them, they had it over 2 weeks to figure out the problem and still couldn't, poor communication failing to update me. Then JJ looked me in the eye and told me it was "safe and ok to drive and would get me back to the VA Hospital", I had a trail of thick white smoke, zero power, and unable to drive 2 blocks from the shop before I broke down for the second time after picking up my car after a failed attempt at repair in this shop. Fast Lane Automotive service has declined significantly!They charged me for 2 catalytic converters. As you can see in the picture, these are NOT new! We inquired about the loud noise the car was making after they "fixed" it. I would not recommend this location based on my experience here. Jaime was truly great. The other person I interacted with was the absolute opposite. I did not receive timely follow up on the progress of my repair. When I called for an update (I was told I would receive a call and did not) the employee flat out lied to me stating the car had just come back in from a road test. I have multiple vehicles and live right around the corner, I had driven by several time this morning, seen the car had been moved, and knew that at the time of the call it had been in the same spot for over an hour. It was in the same spot 30 minute later when I physically went to back to Fast Lane to pick it up. Additionally, I was told it would be $99 for additional diagnostics as they could not tell which wheel bearing was the issue. When I told the gentleman on the phone I was going to take it to the dealership, he gave me attitude and said "you know the dealership isn't going to do it for less". I asked him how much the dealership was going to charge me... oddly, he didn't know. The dealership will have the proper listening tool, however, to diagnose the wheel bearing issue that Fast Lane was clearly having a problem diagnosing. Sorry Fast Lane, you don't get my business, and thanks to your employee on the phone, I'm sharing my experience. read more

Stop in to get a quote on an a/c repair had to pay over $50 so they can tell me the compressor had to be replaced. They're quote was over $200 compared to the dealers quote and over $400 compared to where I got it repaired. The shop looks very professional and staff was super friendly but prices need to be revised. read more

Two words: LIFE SAVIORS. My husband and I traveled to Florida in our 2016 Kia Soul from NJ, we usually do this every trip and never had any issues in the past. Well. When we were leaving to go home our motor gave out and the panic set in. We called multiple mechanics and multiple Kia dealerships but they were either booked up for the day (Saturday) or had nothing available until the middle of the week. I have no idea how we got so lucky to finding Fastlane Automotive. We called and they said sure bring it in for a diagnostic. When we arrived we were treated with such kindness and authenticity. The shop is very nice inside and we patiently waited in their very comfortable and accommodating waiting room. We got the bad news that it was in fact the motor. They brought us out to show us and have us take a listen. They first recommended that we call Kia again and see if we still have a warranty because this was very expensive job (which we thought was very genuine of them to recommend). Well our warranty expired literally 2 months earlier so we got started on the process. They gave us a quote and stuck by their quote. They showed us so much compassion and tried their best to make this as less stressful as possible. They let us use one of their rental cars so we weren't stranded and did so many other things to give us so much care. Literally, words can't describe how fantastic they treated us. They were able to get the Kia fixed very quickly. They stuck to their timeline that they gave us and we were home before we knew it! Fastlane Automotive was seriously such a blessing to find. We were in the worst case scenario and instead of taking advantage of the situation (like a lot of mechanic horror stories are) they showed us care and compassion. I could not recommend this place enough. We brought our 2011 GMC Yukon in with a squeaking noise in the engine. They looked at it and gave us the diagnosis. They offered us a cheaper solution to the problem to try out which unfortunately didn't work. We needed a new motor. They replaced the entire motor in less than a day and they have a rewards program that we racked a bunch of points up with. The people are so friendly and professional. We are a customer for life. So much for upfront pricing. The bill i got was a hundred more than the quote. My adventure began when I brought my daughter's RAV 4 in for a squealing noise. The first mechanic recommended replacing the serpentine belt. He went into mumbo-jumbo car-talk claiming to show signs of wear. I agreed to the repair. Then, when the car was in their clutches they found a more expensive repair - the alternator. A second mechanic pronounced the serpentine belt as 'relatively new' and claimed the alternator bearing was about to go. He quoted a price about a hundred below what I paid. I gave these guys a shot, hoping they weren't another rip-off auto repair shop. I was disappointed. They won't be seeing me again. read more

I'm very disappointed that I have to write a one star review on this location that once had my business and trust. The past three times that I have come here I've been more and more disappointed. I blame the owners son, I don't have his name but this guy is a crook. They charged me $35 to change a simple light and they lost the cap that covers the screw and did not want to own up to it. They are now charging $70 for a full synthetic oil change $20 more than it was a year and a half ago, and today they tried to charge me almost $300 to change spark plugs! Spark plugs are at most $10 a piece and when I confronted him about the $280 labor charge he simply shrugged his shoulders. Thankfully I knew better and I know Forsure that people who don't know about pricing and mechanics are getting screwed over hard. Also want to mention that the last time they changed my oil, I had another mechanic look at my car and he found sludge, a clear indicator that they are not changing the filter. They are way overpriced for nothing. Other shops rotate your tires and top off your fluids with an oil change, today they itemized the rotation and had the audacity to charge me $20 to rotate tires! I will not be returning and I warn anyone reading this review to steer clear from these thieves!!! read more

I have come here a couple of times for oil changes and inspection on 2 different vehicles and although they are extremely nice and the service was good I was told I had a leak on both vehicles. After taking both vehicles for a second and one for a third opinion they discovered there was no leak. Just a coincidence maybe but I also was randomly talking to another co-worker and they had also took their vehicle there for an oil change and were also told their vehicle had a leak and it turned out there wasn't one with a second opinion. So just a heads up if you are told you have a leak I would suggest to get another opinion to avoid unnecessary charges. read more

Wow. Excellent. I have never been to such a friendly, kind, personable shop. Everything is very straightforward and Zach and Kevin ensured I had an understanding of what I was getting done and future recommendations without any scare tactics or steep prices quoted. You feel like you're on the same page with your mechanic. Prices are extremely reasonable and you'll get a whole lot more done faster and cheaper than you would at a dealership. Highly recommended!
