Brought my car in for an alignment. Drove out of the parking lot, realized it was either done wrong, or not at all. Out of time, went home, looked around at vehicle, and there's a big chunk out of one of my tires that was not there before. Called them, got the runaround. Went back later to speak to them, the person up front saw me and asked to speak to me outside, then proceeded to deny the tire damage. After more runaround, they redid the alignment. Forgot about the tire, didn't want to deal with them anymore, and will never think about dealing with them again. Just seemed overall shifty and slimy. I recently got a new car from a Buy Here Pay Here, so I was (well am, because I'm still checking things out) adamant about getting my car inspected. I noticed a "rocks in a can sound" on the rear passenger side that I hadn't noticed before. So, I Googled "free car inspection" to get my car looked at and Firestone came up. I made an appointment for a same day appointment, which I loved! Making an appointment online was easy and convenient. I made it to my appointment and Darryl greeted me and got me checked in. He listened to my concerns with the car and assured me that they'll find the problem if there were any. Anthony did the car inspection for me. He drove my car around to test it and listen to see if anything was off. He was very through. Darryl and Anthony both came back to let me the results of the inspection. I worried a bit. They walked me to the trunk of the car and showed my where the spare tire and jack was. That was making that noise. It wasn't fastened down all of the way. I giggled and sighed with relief. I asked if there where any other problems and Darryl say no. He said the car was in good condition. It had new shocks and whatever else. He said he could tell the the dealership put money into the car to fix it. Thank goodness! I knew online it said a "Complete Vehicle Inspection" was free. But I asked to be sure. I'm not sure if I got a different inspection, but I ended up paying $9.99. Not bad. Darryl emailed me the invoice and recommendations on things to get done for the car. The invoice was broken up into 4 pkgs. Pkg 1 was complete vehicle inspection, pkg 2 tire rotation w other service, pkg 3 electronic battery check, pkg 4 tire air pressure check. $9.99 was the labor. So, technically the inspection was free. Nonetheless, I'm highly satisfied with the results of the inspection. But, I still have a few more things to get checked like the fluids and what not, as that was not checked in the inspection. Thanks Darryl and Anthony! I appreciate you! read more

I booked an appointment online received an email and a text message stating that my appointment was verified. I show up to the location and I'm told that they do not find my appointment the guy at the counter who was very rude. Said you probably booked it at another location. I double check and it's the location at 3424 W. Bethany Home Road. Nonetheless he tells me we can get you in. He goes about to check all my information and then tells me the price is gonna be $179. I tell him what type of oil are you using ?synthetic!. I tell him I take it to the dealer and it's less than that he,tells me ok that's good. He doesn't even give me a chance to ask if there's another oil change like traditional oil ,gives me my keys back and says ok and walks away Terrible customer service. I know that there are different levels of oil changes. I'm sure he was quoting me for the top but at least have a conversation with me about other options. Very disappointed with the rude behavior, not customer friendly at all so they will not be getting any business for me and from any other people that I know. I drove into Arizona from Texas, and upon arriving I ran into some car troubles, as my car would no longer start. I had my vehicle towed there which was a complete waste of time and money. In-person, before my vehicle arrived, I spoke with a service advisor named, Michael. He literally just did not care, as the experience was extremely unwelcoming. Maybe it was something going on in his life: he was very short answered, melancholy, and monotone. While talking with him, I mentioned a hypothetical situation, stating that "if its the starter, would they be able to fix it?" He replied, "Yes, we will have to order the parts first." I further inquired into how that might look on a scale of time, further explaining to him of my situation (that I'm in the military and am passing through). Not getting into the whole story, they ran a diagnostic on my car for which I was charged $26.99 for them to tell me that it is the starter that needs to be replaced. They tell me that the part a job will run me $1,197.17 yet, then tell me that they wont be able to fix it. I got the vehicle towed to the dealership nearby, and they ran their own diagnostic. The dealership tested the batteries, the starter, and the alternator. The dealership told me, the starter is good, the alternator is good, and that all that needed to be replaced was one battery all for $377.98. My experience was horrible I noticed a change in tire pressure by one "point". The gentleman said ththat I could leave the car.. I didn't have a ride and I said I would wait. He checked my car came in and said rhe wippers were bad(I have an appt with the dealer) told him to worry ababout the tire only. He said one pressure point doedown was nothing to worry about. So I asked if I could go to work tomorrow and mamake an apappt... he got aggressive saying "how would I know" so if you say it is nothing. I went to firestone just to get my engine light fixed and to see what was wrong so I could pass emissions and I ended up with a $700 bill for my hub cap? My engine light was still on when I left. Took it to cool car auto in phx and got it fixed for $65! SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT GO TO ANY FIRESTONE! THEY ARE ALL THE SAME. I've been here for almost 2 hrs waiting for my alignment to be done. I finally got fed up and asked how much longer it would take and he said 15-20 min. He said they couldn't I un-tighten my bolts? I know nothing about cars but come on is it really that hard? I have been coming here for the past year to get an oil change every two months and any repairs I need. I have asked each time to check the brakes because every time I slowed down it would have a horrible vibration and metal grinding sound. I took it in a two months ago for an oil change and requested that they check the brakes as I do each time I have an oil change. Every time I am told that my brakes are perfectly fine. I decided to stop coming here since I am on the opposite side of town and went to the Firestone on Cactus Road and Tatum, where I was told the same thing as well as unnecessary repairs. I've been a Firestone customer for about 4 years now. After this last visit, sadly, I will not be returning. Took my car in for a basic oil change on my 99 corolla, I check fluids regularly and knew I wasn't having any issues other than a slow power steering leak. After the visit, the person tells me "you have a very bad oil leak, we need to run dye through it as it is too hard to tell where it's coming from." That was interesting, as my car hadn't been leaking prior to the visit. So I told them to leave it, along with the 1,500 in repairs they asked me to do. Checked my oil a week or two later, completely empty. Took it to a friend's Dad, turns out firestone replaced the bolt that holds the in the oil WITHOUT a gasket on the end to seal it. This turned out to be where the leak was coming from. In regards to the other parts they wanted me to fix, none of those were needed. They wanted me to spend 1,000 on an entire new rack and pinion when it turned out the power steering hose was the only thing leaking. In addition, they wanted me to replace the valve cover gasket for another 100 when there wasn't anything wrong except for very old oil residue on it. Awful, awful experience. The one I frequently went to was Bethany and 35th Ave. The manager is Bert~ great customer service, patient while explaining things to me and not irritated at needing to re-iterate things for me. My car was always taken care of and I was promptly called to get it. Went in to buy a set of tires and get an alignment. Ended up being told I needed another $1200.00 Worth of work on a car with less than 52K miles on it. The work should have not been needed until at least 80K miles. Took it to a mechanic and another wheel alignment place and was told none of the work needed to be done and they were just trying to get some more money from me. And they charged me 22.99 to boot for the privilege. Stay away. Warning you all now. Car drives like a dream and no issues. That should tell you something right there. read more

This firestone location exceeded my expectations. I had a nail in my tire and it was unable to be patched due to where it impacted the tire and required me to purchase two new tires. I ordered my tires from tirerack.com and had them shipped to this location which made it very convenient and even notified me when they arrived and how to call and schedule an appointment. All the people here went above and beyond to get my tires changed and ensure that my car is safe for future travels which stood out the most to me. Would definitely recommend coming here if you need to have maintenance done in situations like mine. read more

they left my car outside for 4 days and made me pay 1000 dollars to replace the battery and alternator, and the car still has issues. they are either incompetent or neglectful because my car still seizes up and I could ha ve gotten into an accident. the older gentleman with white hair assured me everything was fine and he lied to me because they didn't even test my car. they just handed it back to me and I know for a fact that my alternator is only 100 d ollars and the battery only 200- so they are either price gouging or taking advantage of people they said they did a "diagnostic" but obviously not if I'm still having the same issues. they didn't fix anything and made me pay 1000 dollars for a car they didn't fix. read more

I am told that I have no appointment. He has no AC tech. Show him my email and appointment time. I am told he doesn't get that information, that it is a third party company. I started using a Firestone in Arcadia. Service and workmanship were good at the previous store, so when I moved to Phoenix I decided to use this Firestone location. Unfortunately this store has a lot of problems. The wait time was always terrible, regardless of whether I made an appointment or not. On two separate occasions I had to go back after getting new tires to have them rebalanced because my car would shake at higher speeds (despite paying for the lifetime protection and balance on initial purchase). The final straw was when the store tried to claim I needed over $2k of work on my vehicle. Had it checked out by a real mechanic who did not agree with their diagnosis. Been driving it for 6 months since then with no issues. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. read more

When I arrived there was a car in front of me getting their tire pressure checked. I parked behind this car. The representative did not turn around to assist me after the previous call left. I waited to have them approach me and nothing. I got off my car and said excuse me (at a very close distance) and they pretended to not hear me. After multiple attempts they acknowledged me and told me that I would have to wait because they were working. I moved my car at their request. And I waited for 30 min and no one approached me!!! My husband's car battery died in a parking lot due to the Arizona heat sucking the life out of it. We got a jump, and started calling around for open car repair places who had the best deal on installing car batteries. It was a Sunday afternoon and we panicked because most of the car repair places we called were closed. We talked to a great gentleman on the phone at Firestone who gave us the best deal out of everyone we called, even their price beat Walmart by $40! We were lucky that they could squeeze us into the schedule. I usually hate sitting and waiting for my car to get serviced so we just dropped off my husband's car and we took my car to go grab a bite to eat. They told us they would get us in and out in 30 minutes, but we figured from past experience with other car places, it would probably be longer. Sure enough, they called us in 30 minutes as we were finishing our burgers! I've been to other Firestone locations before in the past and always forget that they have some awesome deals and some of the best people who work there. My car had a slight knocking sound so my boyfriend took it to this location to have them look at it, and he also asked for a quote on the 100,000 maintenance check up. He was there for 4 hours and they checked a bunch of things (none of which had anything to do with why we took it in) and handed him a long list of issues they said it had that again we did not ask them to diagnose and hadn't addressed any of the things we did want addressed so my boyfriend asked that they just put the car back together and bring him his keys. When they handed him the keys, he got in and tried to drive it and they hadn't screwed any of the bolts back in on all 4 tires that they had removed! Not only that but the manager tried to argue with my boyfriend and tell him the car was fine before he finally looked down and saw the bolts we're not screwed back in. My boyfriend also overheard many other customers getting the run around in the 4 hours he was there. They didn't have any clue about what they were doing. To cause him to waste half a day for them to do nothing and try and give it back in worse shape than it was when he brought it in is unacceptable. We thought Firestone was a reputable establishment that trained their staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. This location had neither of those qualities. We will not be going back. I had a bad experience here a few months ago. They recently changed management and Kerri reached out to me to try to rectify the bad situation of a previous manager. I took my truck back in and he took me out to show me everything under the truck and how it should be done. He then fixed the situation with a complimentary service. Please read reviews on this auto repair facility before getting any work done. I recently bought my vehicle from Carvana and was directed by them to take my vehicle to Firestone as they are a preferred vendor for Carvana's vehicle warranty company by SilverRock. First I made an appointment on Firestone's online website for 08:00 AM on Saturday, April 9th. Upon arrival at Firestone, I mentioned to their front office service provider Mike that I had an appointment and that I was referred here by SilverRock. Mike stated, "You do not have an appointment, and we do not work with SilverRock". I then showed Mike a confirmation email showing my appointment time to which Mike responded, "We do not take online appointments, they have to be called in person." I then told him I am not sure why SilverRock referred me to this location if they are not a vendor but that I would call SilverRock and I asked Mike for the estimated price to diagnose the vehicle issue that I reported. Mike stated that it would cost around $100. During the time that I was talking to Mike, calls were coming in and he would place some on hold and hang up on others. I then advise Mike to proceed with the order and that I would pay out of pocket if the issue is not resolved with SilverRock. I called SilverRock and was told again that Firestone is a vendor of theirs and so we made a three-way call to Firestone at 08:41 AM. Mike picked up the phone and spoke to a SilverRock claims specialist who educated Mike that Firestone is a vendor of theirs and that all cost was covered and that all Mike had to do was call the number she provided to him to file a claim. What should have taken about 1.5 to 2 hours to conduct the checks/diagnostics on my vehicle ended up being a multiple-day situation with no follow-up or updates on Firestone staff part. I called Firestone at 03:18 PM to get an update on my vehicle since I had not heard back. Mike stated, "We have not got to your car yet we will be pulling it back in about 15 minutes". My understanding is that appointments should be taken first before walk-ins. I just wanted the work to be done before they closed at 6:00 PM on that Saturday so that SilverRock can be called on time before they closed. The time came and went by with no calls or updates. The next day Sunday, April 10th at 09:00 AM I had a family member drive me to Firestone to inquire about my car status. Upon arrival, I can see my vehicle parked out in the front. I confronted Mike about the status of my vehicle and Mike stated, " Nothing wrong with your car but you can't have it back" I then asked for the reason. Mike stated, "Could not get a hold of SilverRock." I then called SilverRock and they are closed on Sunday however Mike had all day Saturday to file a claim or at least provide me with an update. On Monday, April 11th at 06:15 AM I called SilverRock to see if they received any calls or claims from Firestone. I was notified that no calls we or claims were received from Firestone. At 11:23 AM I called Firestone to get an update to see if they had called out to SilverRock and was told that "I just called about 20 minutes ago and go not answer, I will try again". What I found interesting was that I called SilverRock each time with no difficulty and talk to a claims specialist in less than 5 minutes of making a call. I then called SilverRock at 1:25 PM to express my frustrations and concerns about Firestone. SilverRock again mentioned that they have not received a call or claim from Firestone. At this point, the claims representative called Firestone on a 3-way call. Firestone reported to SilverRock that no issues could be found/duplicated and that the cost was less than $10 to obtain the vehicle back. The claim representative then talked to me privately and I told her that had it been communicated that the fee was less than $10 I would have just paid it as I did not have a vehicle to get to work today and had to get a ride and that I was told by Mike the estimate was over $100. At around 3:00 PM I went to Firestone in person to get my vehicle. Mike stated that the reason for all the issues was that he had the wrong numbers for both SilverRock and my cell. I found this strange as the number he had on the paperwork for SilverRock was correct as I verified the number from the contact number I had on my phone. Also, Mike repeated two numbers back to me that was listed under my name with the second one being correct. Mike stated that the first number he called was disconnected; not sure why Mike did not bother calling the second number which was my actual cell number. I truly believe that Mike was just lying about the whole situation and was trying to save face. Very poor customer service, coarseness, and horrible communication. Would never go back to Firestone as this was my first and last experience with them. read more

Made a appointment online for a simple oil change at 1:30 on 8/2/21 normally I'm skeptical of brands like Firestone, jiffy lube, etc.. but they were the only ones available for that date in my area I scheduled it around work. I showed up to the appointment on time and was told they couldn't do it. When I asked why that was the case the manager Ricci Marci said they didn't have time because they had a 1pm and a 2pm scheduled. I could see the technician finishing and pulling out the car they had scheduled so explain to me why you couldn't do my oil change and 1:30 when your next appointment wasn't until 2. The manager said it's because they only had one tech in which I can understand if I had a larger job that needed to be done but again it was a simple oil change and either way I had a appointment scheduled. A oil change is passive work the tech could have easily let my car drain while working on another car if needed. But either way I'm pretty sure the manager just prioritized the jobs that paid more instead of honoring the appointments. Definitely will not be going back and will make sure to let everyone know to avoid this place read more

I had a scheduled oil change appointment days in advance and when I came in, they took over an hour to pull my car into the garage. They took another hour and a half to finish the simple oil change. The technicians are extremely slow at their jobs and spend too much time on their phones. I do not recommend this place to anybody! Stay away! read more
