Subject: Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service at Firestone Auto Care - 1414 N. Parham Road, Richmond, VA
Dear Firestone Customer Service,
I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the customer service I received at your Firestone Auto Care location at 1414 N. Parham Road in Richmond, VA.
During a recent interaction with the store manager, Brian, I was treated with a level of disrespect and disregard that I found both unprofessional and upsetting. When I attempted to voice my concerns regarding the service I received, Brian repeatedly cut me off during our phone conversation. Rather than listening and addressing my concerns, he dismissed them and ultimately told me not to return to the shop, citing my "elevated tone" -- a tone that was a direct result of the frustration caused by the lack of transparency and empathy from his team.
Specifically, I was questioning why I was not informed last week -- when my vehicle was in the shop -- that the warranty on my rotors had expired. Brian was unable to provide a clear explanation for this oversight and instead focused on deflecting responsibility. His dismissive attitude and unwillingness to engage in a respectful dialogue made it clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority.
This experience has left me feeling extremely disappointed and disheartened. I have trusted Firestone with my vehicle maintenance in the past, but this incident has made me seriously reconsider using your services in the future. I believe that your staff, especially those in managerial roles, would greatly benefit from additional training in customer service and empathy. Customers should feel heard, respected, and valued -- not dismissed and disrespected.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously and take appropriate steps to ensure that no other customer has to endure a similar experience.
Sincerely,
Shauntrice Kaigle
