Service work performed is decent I suppose, HOWEVER, very poor communication and you will be without your vehicle for 3 to 5+ days for even the most minor repairs. I gave them 2 shots and never again. They suck. read more

9/13/2024 I've made several attempts to get in touch with the owner over the course of 3 days. All of them have been ignored. My truck has been there since 9/2/2024. I brought it in and asked for the entire exhaust system to be checked out and a state inspection to be done. On 9/9 I was quoted $1253 for a new windshield ,new muffler & tail pipe and was told that was all it needed to pass inspection. At that point I confirmed with him that no work needed to be done on the front portion of the exhaust because I'm fully aware that this motor has aluminum heads on it and I told him if we were in that part of the exhaust I would not be doing anything to the truck. On 9/11 I called to find out what was taking so long for the repairs. I was told by shop foreman that he would check on it and call me back in 15-20 minutes. After 3 hours I called back to find out what was going on. The shop foreman told me it would not pass inspection without doing an additional $1600 worth of work to the exhaust system. Apparently the exhaust system was not checked over properly as I requested and the work discussed to be done had already been performed. The windshield was replaced and the muffler and tail pipe put on. Now I'm expected to pay for his mistake? At this point I had had enough and asked to speak the owner. I didn't hear from the owner so I called back to ask to speak to the owner again. No 1 called. On 9/12 I called and asked for the owner again. Still didn't get a call. If the truck was properly diagnosed to begin with I would have traded it in on a newer vehicle and would not have authorized anything to be done to it at all. I wasn't given the option to say yes or no about performing $2800+ for work to be done on a truck that's worth $4000-$5000 After 2 weeks of my truck sitting there on 9/15/2024 I received a call from the new kents sheriff's office stating that BBT&A called them and stated I refused to pay my bill. I explained to him that I never received a bill. He said well that makes it hard to pay then doesn't it. I said yes. He asked me to reach out to BBT&A to try and resolve. I called BBT&A and asked to speak to the owner. I was told the owner refused to speak to me and that I needed to pay my bill and go our separate way. All I can say is this is a very bizarre way of doing business and hope this story helps others to be very aware of what type of business they are running. CONSUMER BEWARE! read more

Regardless if your getting your engine repaired or just a state inspection you will get good old fashion service. This is New Kent where time has forgotten and people treat each other like old neighbors. It's not one of those sophisticated repair shops it's a country repair palaces where you will see lawn mower for sale or a RV looking for a new home. This is my goto for all my car needs. I have taken my Mazda for repair and they spent a ton of hours looking at and said they cannot fix it because it's a computer issue and they did not charge me a dime. Go here all the time for tires, inspection and repairs. Staff is responsive, they know their tires and always willing to help. I took my car there last week to change tires and rims and get an inspection. They did work within 2 hours....I thought it was going to be much longer. About a year ago my daughter went to express oil change store and they screwed up her oil pan by not putting it on. So, I took the car to Bottoms Bridge, they put the car on a lift and they screwed back in the oil pan and told me that the express oil change store should pay for a new oil pan. I asked them what I owed them for putting the car on the lift and screwing back in the oil pan which was badly damaged, and they charged me $0. Good people! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I dropped my lawn mower off to be worked on through a warranty repair. It was a simple fix and should have been fixed in a day or two. 2 weeks later they still hasn't even ordered the part! When I called for an update and to express my dissatisfaction with their untimeliness, Donna hung up on me. That is superior customer service! I just moved to the area around Bottoms Bridge and I now know where to never take my car or lawnmower for repair. And I'll be sure and tell everyone I meet to NOT patronize them as well. read more

Please beware of this mom and pop service shop they are not what they used to be. They will indeed double or even triple charge you and will certainly charge you for things that weren't actually repaired!! My grandparents have been going here for many many years and their service used to be great. They last few things we had repair by them were not actually repaired. They didn't fixed my drive shaft which we still were charged 600$ and on top of that they broke all four of my lug nuts. They also charged me 300$ for a window motor which stop working that same evening. "VERY FRUSTRATING " long story short we just sucked it up and went to the dealership because seems that we were paying dealer prices anywho. I took my weed eater in to get fixed because it would not start. I waited for a week and when I called about the repair, I was then told there was a backlog and it would not be ready for a couple more weeks. Then, I received a call that my weed eater caught on fire. I am glad no one was hurt but I questioned the process used to identify the problem. All I got from them was a, "It's a disappointment!" Customer service is friendly other than the fact that they don't explain all your charges up front. You show up for a service and then realize there are hidden charges when the process is over. I called them and the woman on the phone was very polite and said to come on down. They inspected my car with no issues. My tires were getting close and they gave me an estimate for new ones. Please People Beware this company if you want your mowers fixed you may want to look elsewhere.... I've been dealing with this company painstakingly threw insurance for tractor supply which by the way is a waste of your time and money, anyway this company took my mower over a month ago they said that they would work on my mower within two weeks but after a month and two weeks waiting I had to call to find out they had done nothing. I contacted the insurance company and they advised they would reach out to them than reach out to me. I received a call telling me that my brand new blades where dull and that I was cutting grass that was too tall or too wet.. Please the grass is maybe six inches and being a commercial bad boy it should cut that with the brand new blade like butter. I decided to do a surprise visit to check on my mower I felt in my gut something was wrong, Once I got there there was no paper work at all on this job and they didn't know anything in regards to my mower it wasn't till the one receptionist realized that it was turned in for a claim that she advised that it was in the back and to just walk back there. Upon walking around back I found no workers not technicians working on anything and tons of mowers left outside to weather the elements but not mine. I looked around for about thirty minutes before a young boy from over on the auto side came over and started to help me look. When we found my mower it was locked behind garage doors, and covered in mud, sticks, and leaves. this mower was washed spotless before they ever took it. I was appalled I told the boy why did you guys cut the woods with my lawnmower? the boy said I don't know I didn't have anything to do with that.. At this point I told them I was taking my mower I couldn't imagne leaving it there, What I would get if I had would probably be a Ziploc bag of bolts being that when they take your machinery it then is theres to cut there grass and woods with for a month and a half.
