This Firestone location has changed significantly, and unfortunately, I no longer have confidence in the service or recommendations I receive here. For years, this was one of my preferred places for vehicle maintenance. However, a series of experiences has caused me to seriously question both the quality of the work and the accuracy of the recommendations being made. In 2024, Firestone replaced the brakes and rotors on my wife's vehicle. Within days, the vehicle developed brake noise and had to be brought back for correction. Approximately 10,000 miles later, during a routine oil change, we were told the brakes were already nearing the end of their service life. When I questioned how that could possibly be the case after such limited mileage, they later acknowledged that the assessment had been a mistake. Yesterday, at approximately 15,700 miles since that brake service -- with the vehicle driven primarily on the highway and otherwise spending much of its time parked -- we were again told that the brakes were nearing the end of their life. When I asked how brake pads they installed could wear that quickly, I was told that I had purchased "basic" brake pads and perhaps should consider purchasing a higher-quality pad next time. That response was particularly disappointing considering Firestone sold and installed those pads in the first place. There have been other troubling recommendations as well. During maintenance on my vehicle, I was told that both a license plate bulb and a brake light bulb needed replacement, with an estimated cost of $223.98. I declined the service and purchased the bulbs from AutoZone for approximately $8.00. The license plate bulb took about one minute to replace -- and, more concerning, the brake light bulb was not burned out at all. We have also had a cabin air filter replaced, only to receive another recommendation to replace it again relatively soon afterward. The same type of inconsistency occurred with the battery: it was replaced, later recommended for replacement again, and then at a subsequent service visit we were told the battery was perfectly fine and required no replacement. The final issue was enough for me to decide that we will no longer use this Firestone location. My wife brought the vehicle in for a routine oil change. After dealing with the brake issue described above, the vehicle was returned to her displaying an **"Engine Maintenance Required"** warning that had not been present when she arrived. She was initially allowed to leave with the warning displayed, and when the issue was raised, there was even a suggestion that the warning had already been there. It had not. I instructed my wife to return immediately. Firestone was unable to determine the cause, unable to clear the warning, and we are now being forced to take the vehicle to the Toyota dealership to determine what occurred. At this point, my concern goes beyond any one incident. When brake wear assessments are later called mistakes, recently replaced components are repeatedly recommended for replacement, functioning bulbs are identified as defective, and a vehicle leaves routine maintenance with a warning light that was not there beforehand, it becomes very difficult to trust future recommendations. The vehicle also continues to have brake noises and sounds that were never present before this work began, and Firestone on Washington Boulevard has been the only shop servicing this vehicle since 2023. I used to trust this location enough to bring our vehicles here without hesitation. Unfortunately, that trust has been lost. From this point forward, we will be taking our vehicles to the dealership. My car was unable to shift gears, so I had it towed to Firestone on Washington Blvd on Tuesday, Aug 11. I was initially quoted a $220 diagnostic fee. The next day, they called to inform me that the shift cable bushing was missing. The estimate to replace this small piece was $575.99 for parts and labor--bringing the total bill to nearly $800. Because my car was already towed there and non-drivable, I felt forced to approve the repair rather than pay another towing fee to take it to an independent shop. To make matters worse, I received multiple upsell calls pushing over $3,000 in additional recommended services. A standard shift cable bushing part costs roughly $10-$35, and replacement typically takes under an hour of labor at a fair price range of $60-$200. We have Firehawk Tires so my husband wanted to go to Firestone Roseville for a nail in the tire. We arrived at 10:30 am and took a walk over to Green Acres with our dog. We came back 45 minutes later and the hood was up on our Mazda. What does that have to do with a nail in the tire being repaired? I immediately was suspicious and about 30 minutes later the service technician comes back with an inspection and tells me husband that the back tire rotors were installed incorrectly. They were done by the Mazda dealership along with all the other service except the tires. They are very dishonest and if you read the other reviews you will see. I think they try to "sell" services to unsuspecting customers that don't know any better. Two hours later our car is sitting in the front and they have not given our keys. Asked for a printout and they gave me another customer's Tesla printout, (they probably think I wouldn't be able to notice. They couldn't produce the printout for my car and I insisted in getting it put back on the rack to get a new printout. Long and behold my car was still out of alignment. This place is a joke. Visited to have tires were rotated plus inspection for yearly maintenance. Rep told me I had a bad battery and gave me a quote at full price to replace it ($300+) and I had to remind him that it was under their Firestone warranty. He checked on what I said and realized Firestone would need to cover the replacement. That is suspicious. Also gave me a high priced quote for brake pads and rotors, which yes I am due to replace but denied their expensive service. I needed to empty my trunk full of camping gear for them to get in to replace this "bad" rear battery, so I returned 2 days later. Now again visiting, after waiting an hour for them to just retest the battery, also get the battery in stock from somewhere else, magically they say my batteries tested fine and doesn't need to be replaced. Is it because I drove more and recharged my battery better? Maybe? But I drove 50+ miles of freeway to get here in the first place for the first visit when he said it was "bad". Also if it was just low from not being driven enough, but not a truly bad battery, the first rep could have given some context and asked if the car was sitting a long time. He never showed me the first battery test results when trying to sell me on a full price battery either. Also he never gave me the print out for my initial service, payment receipt, battery test, or quotes. Said he would email that plus his quotes and was never received, not even 2 days later, still not found in junk mail or anything. So I returned AGAIN today for this replacement battery... 2+ hrs driving round trip plus 1+ hr in waiting room, to have this battery replaced, just to find out it wasn't even bad in the first place. The reps here today were nice and printed out service details from Sunday. I drove over an hour each way, for 2 visits, lots of time miles and gas wasted, because I thought Firestone was better. Okay, so I read the reviews; most of them negative. I scheduled an appointment to get the 30k mile service done on my car, along with an alignment check. I arrived a few minutes early for my 8:00 am appointment. As Michelle arrived to work at 8:00, right on time I presume, she immediately greeted me and asked if I was being helped. I told her the guys in the bay said they'd be with me in a few minutes. She said, no, I'll help you now. Great customer service, and right on time! Michelle made sure all my coupons were entered and that I was aware of a rebate from Pennzoil. She's really good about being very thorough and explaining everything quite well. I am actually impressed with this Firestone. The work was done as scheduled, completed in a reasonable amount of time, and the price paid was exactly what was quoted. Oh, my God! My Hertz rental broke down and I had it towed to these guys because it was closest to my office. They said their diagnostics guy was too busy. It would have to wait until Sunday. I had to call them every time because they don't communicate. Then by the time they got to it, and called Hertz for approval to do the diagnostic. They couldn't reach Hertz. They said the car would have to wait until Monday. I called Hertz approvals and they said they gave them the approval just before 8 am. I called Firestone. They said something about the oil being empty, but not what caused that. (I just had it changed a week ago at Big O, on Sunrise, which is the most efficient place that I go to and that is authorized by Hertz. Here it is. I've trying calling Firestone. Their staff put me on endless hold, then the automated system said there's nobody to take my call. I call back about 15 minutes later, and they hang up on the call immediately. This place does plenty of business regardless of their poor communications. I've been out of work for three days because of these corporate maladies with both Hertz and Firestone. On Sunday, I noticed that the pressure on my right rear tire was going down rapidly, even though, the pressure warning light wasn't on. The only place open was Firestone. To be honest, I was there a half hour before closing time. They looked at my tire and added air. I don't think they bothered to thoroughly inspect the tire. I drove 30 miles home with that tire. Save your time & money. So, I had my son take his car here for a simple oil change. First time for him doing this on his own as he is a new/used car owner (18 years old). With that being said, I had him set this appointment up on his own and drop his car off. We dropped his vehicle off on Saturday March 8th around 11:45am. It wasn't until close to 3PM that my son received a phone call stating that they had damaged/broken his radiator & a/c condenser. My son was clueless as he is not knowledgeable on vehicles what or how this would've happened. So, he comes and hands me the phone. I was in complete shock that somehow, they had broken his radiator & also A/C condenser. When I had questioned how this would've happened, I was told by Shafil (store manager) that the technician must have placed the jack in the wrong location and was not on a solid piece of metal, when they went to jack up my son's car. How do you have technician's jack up vehicles when they are not competent enough to place the jack in the correct position to NOT damage a vehicle? Also, why would a jack be used when Firestone has a Vehicle lift to do this...not to mention how far forward was the vehicle placed on the jack in order for it to damage the radiator and a/c condenser? Nothing is making sense of what I am being told. The generic invoice given to me does not show the actual part# or price, make, model...nothing of what they supposedly replaced. Which is odd to me. When we went on Sunday March 9th to pick up vehicle, I didn't overlook the paperwork thinking.... they had given me everything since that is what normally takes place when you get work done on your vehicle. They had given me the invoice with oil change details and suggested services. I'm now wondering how many of the "suggested services" they have listed on this invoice are due to the technician jacking up the vehicle on a plastic piece and not metal and collapsing the vehicle to the point of busting/breaking my radiator and a/c condenser?!?!?! Not once did the store manager Shafil apologize when I came in yesterday 3/10/25 to retrieve a copy of the "missed page" NOT printed at the time of pickup. CYA Covering your ass because of the negligence on your end, that's the real reason. This place is a true scam. Never again would I bring my vehicle here. I believe the $61.98 oil change has now created more damage to his vehicle than initially thought. Now it states the LCA arm has wear on it, states that this could be possibly due to bent suspension component...Geeeeeee I wonder if this was caused by them also? Of course, they would not want to admit this was damaged as well....I will be taking my son's vehicle to a trusted mechanic who is HONEST and reliable to see what all actually was damaged by Firestone. I have been coming to Firestone for a while after moving less than 10 min from the store. The guys up front are always very kind and informative. My car is always completed in a timely manner (oil change + alignment every 6 months). Even when I had new tires put on, they got me in same day my tire blew and had all four replaced in a few hours. The price is comparable to other stores, sometimes cheaper for services with all the specials they run. Writing this review while a total Karen is making a scene at Firestone, stating "I was wondering why you guys had 2 stars!" (On yelp). Because most people go on yelp to complain, so figured I'd add some positivity to this space. The people here are very kind and doing the best they can, they are also very busy and if you have a bunch of things needing repairs sometimes it takes longer than expected. I have used Firestone Complete Auto Care for several years as a local resident. On my recent visit, I had an oil and brake fluid change for my F150. When I got my Truck home, I was disappointed to discover oil and brake fluid leaking from my vehicle onto my new driveway. I took my truck back right away at 3pm on a Holiday Sunday, and they were more than happy to make it right by lifting up my vehicle, wiping down their mess and double checking it for leaks from filters plugs and such. Although I was rather grumpy for their mistake, they made it right and gave me priority to redress, and what else can I say, we all make mistakes. Thanks Joey at the counter and Joshua Manager. Every time we've come here we have received Excellent customer service and every service we had has made us completely satisfied. I recently called to get an alignment and they squeezed us in and although we were fine with picking up my car the next day, they still got it done before closing! They were amazing! My truck overheated as I was driving through Roseville. They were the only place open on a Sunday morning. They went above and beyond to get my truck diagnosed, parts ordered and got all the repairs done the same day! During that time I sat in the lobby, I listened to them talking to the other customers. I was repeatedly impressed by their honesty and integrity when talking to people about their vehicles. This Firestone is by far one of the best places for complete auto care. I am not sure why it has so many negative reviews. I have been coming here for several years for oil changes and they are always better priced than anyone else. This time I was in for AC service on my wife's SUV and let's just say they smoked the competition on price. In addition to that I had to have brakes done on my truck, I had originally gone to Brake Masters and was quoted over $500 front and back. So I thought I would take that quote over to Firestone, first they quoted me $385 total and today after inspection they came in at $305 total, less than there own quote!! I just want to start off by saying I've always loved this shop until NOW! This whole situation was handled so poorly and unprofessional and now I'm having to take it to court because they didn't want to do the right thing. After multiple times of taking my car in they officially got lazy with it.... I took my car in Oct of 2023 replaced a hand full of things one of them being the cv axle, not even a year later I was having problems with it again ( it's still under their warranty ) I took it in was told the noise was coming from my breaks and rotors. Replaced it.. went to leave the parking lot and instantly heard the noise again. I pulled over and called them saying the problem wasn't fixed when I was told I had to drive it a little bit before the noice would officially go away??? Took the car home and the next day took it back to them they looked at it again and said everything was fine. We asked to have someone drive with us so they can hear the noise and hopefully locate where it was coming from we were told by the mechanic in the car with us it sounds like a cv axle. They look at it and the same day we got a call asking if it's been replaced recently. I responded yes and the on the phone ( he was new ) said " it was not installed correctly " which is when I brought up they were the ones that replaced it he looked it up and said yup looks like we replaced it. I need to put you on hold to speak to the mechanic and see what they could do.. the mechanic got on the phone I believe his name was Josh & we were told the mechanic that replaced it no longer worked there & they couldn't replace it because they didn't have the tools?? Yet they fixed it before ???? When we went to pick up the car that mechanic we spoke to on the phone said if that's the problem I'll get reimbursed but they can't fit it there. Went to the shop the recommended us to go to where they lifted my car on the rack and within 30 seconds pulled me back... it was held together with a zip tie... because of that it got stuck in my transmission and had to replace the whole transmission and new axle $4,733 which is where I called to file a claim with Firestone got my claim adjuster Daniel M Perry ? he called me asked what happened I tell him that it was zip tied to where he responded " the part could have came with a missing clamp or a clamp that was broken and he wasn't there so he doesn't know what happened " on the invoice it states " all parts are new unless noted otherwise " using a zip tie to hold it to a transmission IS NOT NEW! Daniel told me we can go ahead with getting it fixed after explaining im 9 months pregnant and can't be without a car he said as long as they hold the transmission for inspection it will be fine to get it fixed after looking at it he states they don't know if the transmission they looked at even came from my car.. They refuse to take any calls and give any answers regarding the claim other than they are denying it. read more

I don't recommend anyone ever going to Firestone complete auto care on Washington. My car a/c went out in this heat and I couldn't get into my mechanic for two weeks. I thought I would take it there to see if it just needed refrigerant. They told me I needed a new condenser for $983. In addition they told me I needed a new battery which wasn't Even two years old. My mechanic said neither is true. My battery is good and only an o-ring needed replacing. Out the door for $350. read more

Gisela and her crew were amazing. I was stranded in Roseville from out of town and this place was the only open shop I could find on a Sunday. My Tahoe's front right tire came loose and had I driven home in that condition there's no telling what could've occurred. When I had questions, She didn't hesitate to ask questions to the technicians on my behalf. I know the shop was busy but they still got the job done making it possible for me and the family to head home safely. They truly prevented what could've been a nightmare weekend! I had an appointment for 9:30 am for just a simple oil change and was told (when we made the appointment) it would take 1.5 to 2 hours. We came back 5 hours later to pick it up and was told they had not even started it yet! What? I was told they were still working on vehicles from the day prior. My husband just went here to get my brakes fixed (again) only 2 months after coming here (spending over 750$ the first time)! We only came back bc we had a warranty on the roaders (sorry if misspelt) and the plates. The idiot helping us seriously tried to tell us that they DID NOT replace the roaders last time and that we DID NOT have a warranty on that or the plates! One of the worst services I had ever had, I NEEDED to hop onto Yelp to express how terrible everything was. If the service member communicated to me that my service would take over 3 hours I would have done something productive instead of waiting in the lobby. I have limited time and other obligations on my hands and I was completely disappointed that I had to change my schedule because Sean/Hilton could NOT be honest with me and communicate thoroughly. I scheduled an appointment for an Oil and Filter change for June 6th @ 3 PM and I did not leave UNTIL 6 PM. I have NEVER waited over 3 hours for an oil and filter before. The front service guy, Hilton/Sean, who also checked me, called me up as 4:51 PM and recommend that I do a cabin filter replacement. At first, I thought I already signed up for it, but I was hesitant to ask them to do it due to limited time but Hilton/Sean ASSURED me that they can knock it out easily and that it will only take 10-15 mins to replace. 15 minutes passes by and I was speechless, upset, and exhausted. When It was 5:20 PM I saw that my CAR was left on the front side store along with the other finished vehicles(Including my partner's car. We serviced our cars at the same time) and my frustrations continued to grow. I did not say a word and let another 20 mins pass hoping to see if they would call me to check out. 20 mins pass by, I go up front to confront Sean/Hilton about when my car will be done. He said that It will take another few more minutes. I then asked him "why is my car sitting at the side of the store like it is done? If you haven't done it yet I would like to remove the filter services" and continued to say "it will only take another 10-15 minutes, they're already in the process of doing it". I asked Sean/Hilton, "why are you telling me it's going to take another 10-15 minutes when you told me that almost an hour ago?" While I was watching the window the entire time, they were NOT in the process of replacing my filters. 6 minutes passes by and I saw the technician run to my car with boxed air filters, to move it back behind the service center. I was beyond upset that I was lied to and technically FORCED to get my filters changed when I told them I did not want to do it anymore since they were not working on it. Took my car in for an alignment and to have a couple of weird noises checked out and was recommended some things be done on my car and was told this would fix the noises.... Got my car home next morning instantly heard the same noises and issues they said would be fixed so made another appointment.. magically they discovered something else also needed to be replaced and that after that noises would be gone.. also they made me pay for ANOTHER alignment even though it had only been a couple days since they worked on my car and did the last alignment.. got car home again and literally nothing changed. Still same noises and now we've spent over 1,000 dollars with them trying to fix the problem. I ended up going to dealership and noise was gone instantly because all it was was a loose bolt. After reading so many negative reviews, I ALMOST decided not to give this location my business. However, I have been a long time Firestone customer and felt I should give them an opportunity. Hilton (store manager) checked me in promptly, promised my car would be ready for pick up within two hours and got to work. The waiting room was clean and quiet. There was a steady flow of customers coming in and out. As promised, my car was finished 90 minutes later (30 minutes ahead of what was promised). I will continue to use this location for my vehicle and I suggest you give them a chance as well. Thanks Hilton and Roseville Firestone team. read more

Took my truck to this Firestone #17663 at 8051 Washington Blvd in Roseville CA 95678, for a simple tire rotation. Appointment was at 7AM. Told the manager what I wanted done. He made no effort to show me what he put on the actual work order. Just told me to sign on this little finger pad. When I noticed that they were doing things to my truck that were not necessary for tire rotation, I got up and found the manager, and told him that I didn't want anything but a tire rotation done. HE REFUSED. He angrily told me that he was the manager, and he gets to decide what is done to all vehicles in his shop! I then asked, "so if a customer explicitly asks you not to do something to their vehicle, you're saying that you're going to do it anyway"? His response was, "That's exactly what I'm saying!" I'm an experienced auto mechanic myself, and just wanted my tires rotated. The rotation is free if you bought the tires there which I did. I keep my truck in impeccable condition and did not need or want anyone checking fluid levels or tire pressures, or my wiper blades. I can do that myself and enjoy doing it. And it gets worse folks... Never had any repair facility treat me like this. I stepped out of the building and called the corporate office. They told me that their manager shouldn't be doing that as we don't force work on anyone. I was told that the area manager would be contacting me in a few days, which he did, but nothing could be done to help me right now. To avoid further confrontation, I decided to let this jerk do whatever he wanted so I could just leave as soon as possible. While waiting I decided that I would not sign anything else, as I was not happy with how I was treated or the service. After about 45 mins, I was called to the desk to checkout. First thing he did was hand me my keys. They had already moved my truck back to the front where I had left it. After about 3 minutes of this manager typing stuff into the computer, he again directed me to sign on this little touchpad, without making any attempt to show me what I was signing. I refused. I told him I was not happy with the service or how I was treated. He then grabbed my keys from me and told me that he could not return my vehicle to me until I signed! Remember now, the tire rotation was free so no money was owed this business! Not a dime! I then told him I was calling the police! Roseville police showed up, and after being there for almost an hour trying to get this, in my OPINION, psycho manager Hilton (Hitler) Sorkazian to return my keys and let me leave, the police told me that the manager said that Firestone had legal custody of my vehicle until I signed, and they considered it a civil issue and could not help me! That was a lie of course, as I had no legal or contractual obligation to sign a contract which simply said that I agreed to abide by the credit card agreement of the credit card used, which did not apply to me as no payment was tendered, and that all services had been rendered by the business to my satisfaction, which they were not. Folks, in my OPINION, this Firestone Service Facility is a liability for the brand, as long as this manager is running it. I would not recommend taking your vehicle here unless you like having this business dictate to you what they do to your vehicle and have no problem telling you to that you have no say in the matter! I had 4 tires put on my daughters car and when I picked up, the tires had this tan goop all over them and most importantly, it was all over the rims..I went back in and asked the guy working the front area for a paper towel to wipe all the goop off. He came out, looked at it and came back with a soft clothe and spray and cleaned all 4 tires..NOW for the really cool part of this review.. The guy cleaning my rims didn't even sell me the tires AND the clothe and spray he used were his own,from his own car.. That's great service..His name is Martin Ask for him! Again,Great service.. Thanks Martin (hope I'm spelling your name right) You went the extra mile and you didn't even need to! First picture is how clean they were when Martin was finished! read more
