The customer service was really bad but on top of that so was the service. They OVERFILLED my oil by 2 quarts. A few days later my car began to smell of burning oil and making a ticking noise. I read that was an oil issue typically. So I checked my dipstick and it was WAY above the line. Shop is closed today (even though Yelp says open) so I'm at jiffy lube and they are draining the oil and are appalled at the work done. I've used this place for an oil change before and had a good experience however I send in my daughter to get an oil change in her 2017 Jeep with over sized tires. They charged her $135 for oil and tire rotation When I looked on the bill they had charged her $50 for a tire rotation! Unbelievable took advantage of a woman. They do fine work as best I can tell but two complaints after several trips there in the last year: 1) nobody wears a mask that works there. They come right up to you without a mask on. Seemed like a great deal. Same price as Jiffy Lube and I got a free car wash. They were very fast too. I went to Jiffy first and it was an hour wait, because they were busy, and I was in and out of Fairway in a half hour, including the wash. The wash actually took longer. They did do the thing where they find something else that needs fixing, transmission fluid, but they weren't pushy about it. My dad warned me about this, so I asked if my car can take non-synethtic oil. The mechanic said "yes, but let me go ask my coworker" and when he came back he said they won't do that for me. I've been here two times - well three actually. They came as a recommendation from a friend and anytime I can get a free car wash it's bonus time. I took in my 2007 VW Rabbit to get an oil change (not cheap) which requires all synthetic oil and it requires more than they typically allow for. This being said - it was a very expensive oil change - over $100 bucks. Four days after getting the oil changed - I noticed oil leaking from the vehicle - not just one or two drops a day - it was spewing. I work out of the area (long commute) so was concerned I might not have enough oil to get home. I check the dip stick and I felt there would be enough to get me home for the night and back up to Fairway Express Lube first thing in the AM. The next morning I had a friend follow me up there - just in case and - let me just say - I rolled up there expecting to have to fight to get this fixed. WOW was I surprised the attendant (I think his name was Ryan) was so apologetic and assured me they would fix the issue and check all the fluids again - NO CHARGE (as I would expect!). I was there about 15 minutes and when he came into the office and told me that everything was fixed and even told me what the problem was and took FULL RESPONSIBILITY for it - I almost broke down and cried when I admitted to him I was overwhelmed and really appreciated his honesty and overall niceness in getting the issue resolved - and more importantly taking responsibility for it without my having to fight. That being said - when my car needed another oil change recently - I took it there. I now trust that they will do the job correctly and if not - they will fix it without a hassle. They are all friendly, polite, and very efficient. I had used a coupon they sent me in the mail so I got like $10 bucks off the entire service. Here's my overview. PROS: - Friendly, polite, efficient employees. - Clean convenient location. - Took responsibility on an issue they caused - this goes a LONG way in my book. - If you "check in" on Yelp - you get a discount that they actually know how to redeem when it's time to pay your bill! - Free car wash (If it's raining - you get 3 or 4 days to redeem). - NO up-selling of anything ... when asked about my wipers he checked them and felt they were good enough for now. Thanks for not gouging me with pointless requests to sell me more stuff that I probably don't need. CONS: - I seriously can't think of one thing that would turn me off about this place except for the fact that - if you sit outside at their tables - you can smell the car wash water - and it smells very OLD and nasty! Drove up and waited 10 mins outside the bay, locked up my car went into the office, it was empty, went back out to the bay, said hello, hello? Nothing , 10 minutes later a gentleman showed up. I said I want an oil change - he opens up the hood, goes somewhere comes back and says synthetic is 85.99. I said no I want conventional and I have a coupon. No he says your car has a turbo it has to have synthetic. My vehicle is a 2020 Ford Escape, a small suv, it does NOT have a turbo! I explained this and he says we cannot do your oil change . I was until very recently a long term 10 year customer but no more. I took my F150 for routine full synthetic oil change that cost me $100 and everything seem to be all good until I pulled out of my driveway the next morning. Oil in drive way and freaked. Went back and talked to Carl who has been there forever and he blamed my oil plug, turns out not the plug Carl! It was your sloppy technicians who got oil all over my the pan and didn't bother to wipe it. This is the second time in 10 years, the first time the oil was spilled all over my engine when they tried to pour it in. Pulled up, nobody around, waited bout 5 minutes, so I got out to walk in and as I do a guy walks out of office to the bay so I went back to my truck, he didn't acknowledge me, didn't say hi, welcome or anything, he walked back in the office then walked back out and grabbed clipboard and walked up to me and asked what I needed. Told him and he took truck and pulled it in, I didn't know what to do cause he didn't say anything so I sat down and waited. When he finished he looked out and so I assumed we where done so I went in, he put paper down to sign and as I did he gave me a receipt and said here's your car wash code. That was that, 56 dollars later I drove around got my truck washed and then I went and put air in my tires cause the light was on before I pulled up. They were fast, I'll give them that. However, they charged me the incorrect amount roughly $30 more, didn't reset the oil in the SUV therefore said still needed an oil change. I tried to use a valid coupon, and said you charged me the incorrect amount they didn't seem to care. I called the manager twice, no response, and emailed the manager immediately after I left and included the receipts, and supporting pictures...still with no response. The service tech told my wife's vehicle only took a certain motor oil, and I looked in the owners manual in which it clearly says opposite. Have been taking my vehicles there for a while for an oil change. Yesterday was the worst customer experience and service ever and I will NOT ever go back. I was the first oil change as I arrived when they opened. The employee who came to assist was on a call, personal, using earbuds and it would have been too much of an inconvenience to hang up and provide customer service. I thought, eh it's an oil change, 18 pt inspection oh well. The service was completed in about 7 minutes. I commented "that was fast" mind you he's still on the call. Just pointing to me where to sign. (Wasn't confident that he actually did an oil change.) Got in my vehicle and noticed the sticker wasn't there. Got out, said what you don't put stickers anymore. He, still on the call, said oh, I didn't put one, I said maybe if you weren't on the phone it be would have been done. He said nothing, found the sticker and away I be went. Checked the oil this morning and it looks dirty. Called this morning and spoke to Carl, supposably, the manager. And instead of saying. ,"I'm so sorry you had that experience, come in and let me check it out or change it again". He tried to explain it away!!!!!. I had to come back a couple of days later and stand in line to get the lube part of the service. This place is a joke, took a car in for detailing at 11am and wasn't ready till after 5pm, after all that time I get home to find the outside has multiple dirty visible spots, what looked like scratch marks on the hood, the windshield had dirty dried up water spots!!!Looked like someone just wiped down the dust off the body of the car, and no actual water or soap in the cleaning was used during the process.We had to return it back the next day only for them to try and pull a similar job as the previous day!!!Over 200 dollars down the drain!! Stopped by and got my oil changed. A bit pricey but things went smooth so I accepted. While there I noticed that they do brakes. I asked if they would change with parts that I purchased already. Carl said, "Most places won't do it for you but we will. We normally charge $180 but I'll do it for $150." This was an acceptable price to me because now I wouldn't have to spend 2 hours changing my brakes and rotors. When I got back with the parts, I was to that there was a misunderstanding and he meant $150 per axle. Now if that's not a scam, I don't know what is. read more

I took my 05 Camry to Fairway Express Lube for my 5,000 mile service. Service completed as usual to my satisfaction. I asked them to check the "check engine" light for an "Evap Leak". Carl was able to quickly determine that a small vacuum hose had come loose causing the check engine light to come on. I had been told by another mechanic that it was the gas cap! I drive up and they're helping other customers with writing their order for their oil change, so I wait for my turn and after he's done writing those other people he just walks away ignores the fact that I'm here also waiting :( Then I go inside the garage and asked if somebody was going to help me and they just look at me and walk away hoping they're going to come to help me they didn't so then I go back again and asked if somebody was going to help me they say yes as soon as we get a chance will go and help you. I took my Expedition in for service because of the engine emission light was on. Carl, the service manager found the problem right away and fixed it for me and explained what was wrong. If I could give zero stars, I would. They failed to tighten the drain plug on my car after an oil change. Found this out the hard way, when her oil light popped on while driving a week later. I went in after replacing the plug and oil, only to sit and wait for an hour while they had my car racked. There was maybe a total of 5 mins they actually looked at it. After hearing the employees discussing how to make right on their mistake, one smartass tech came out grinning, only to offer me back $22.50 for the oil I put in after their "premium high mileage" oil was lost on the ground. He thought it was just hilarious, which is probably why that guy won't be moving into a new career anytime soon. In the end I got a refund, but it wasn't worth my time, day off, or my mental health to deal with this. I was offered 2 free oil changes, a free car wash, etc... The bottom line is that even if they offered me free oil changes, car washes, service for life, I still would never go back. I should also mention that a guy pulled up while I was there and was having oil leaking from his plug that he just had done that day...another untightened oil plug, luckily he caught it before it came all the way out like mine. read more

Being that this is an express lube they should know how many quarts of oil is required for my truck before starting the job. The attendant made a comment that every truck is different in the number of quarts it uses, calling FORD I was told that all Ford F-250 super duty uses 15 quarts.
