    Undercarriage (photo taken from front of car).You can really see how close it is to the road in this one.

    I went in and had my oil changed. On my way to work, the very next day, I heard what sounded like scraping/grinding with every little bump in the road. Upon parking my car, I got down on hands and knees to investigate the noise underneath my car. I immediately saw the issue. The cover/shield they remove, that allows them access and drain the oil, was all bent up and dragging against the road. I took photos and am NOT happy at all. I called them back to describe the above. All I got was "We'll take a look at it"... no apology, no we're sorry this happened to you. So I drop my car off for them to look. I get a call back later saying my car was ready. All they did was "resecure lower splash shield". Granted there was no charge, but I am NOT satisfied. It was their mistake. They should have ordered me a brand new splash shield, not forcibly reattach the one that was all bent up and dragging against the roadway as a result of THEIR mistake. If the above wasn't bad enough, I should add that I was originally scheduled for MORE than just an oil change. My original receipt clearly stated that I had let them know a message was up on my maintenence minder, which stated "B124 service is due on my Honda Civic". This is a code that means MORE THAN JUST AN OIL CHANGE+FILTER! B = Replace engine oil and oil filter, inspect front and rear brakes, check parking brake adjustment, as well as a list of other things to inspect. 1=Rotate Tires 2=(this one I'm okay with because I told them I replace my own cabin and element filters - so they didn't have to). 4=Replace spark plugs, inspect valve clearance. My invoice confirms NONE of the above was done, only the oil change and oil filter. There wasn't even a mention that any of the B124 was checked by them. No mention of spark plugs, etc. I don't trust them. I'm bringing my car elsewhere to have them double check everything they did, especially the undercarriage. And also get a proper inspection. I am so done with Firestone. My husband hasn't had a good experience here either. We both concluded we are taking our business elsewhere, preferably to a place that is NOT a chain. We learned our lesson the hard way.

    Had a flat and needed a new set of 4 tires. Local Firestone in 08085 would not schedule an appointment because they were "too busy" and short staffed. Went to a great Firestone shop in Wilmington Delaware and bought a new set of tires. Twice had a nail with a slow leak. Both times pulled up to Firestone Swedesboro, almost flat. Both times they refused service, despite having full coverage on our tires. Shop is 2 minutes from our home, had to go elsewhere

    Customers are treated like crap, staff is rude, and they can't even fix a car right. If you value your car, don't take it to this firestone.

The cars have always been ready when they promise. Just as importantly, they're absolutely honest. Several times they have not charged for things that they could have. Their diagnoses have always accurate, not padded. I know enough about cars (I've done things like engine rebuilds, clutches, strut rebuilds) to know when I'm getting BS. They explain what needs to be done and offer to show why. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Recently my car was hitting bumps really hard and I took the car in to get looked at. I told them that I think its the rear struts but they insisted it was the tires so I replaced all the tires at their recommendation. After replacing the tires I thought the car was fine for a while until I got on the highway and heard a loud humming sound. I took the car back in to get looked at and they tell me that the sound is coming from the tires wearing uneven. Now im getting angry because I just replaced all the tires. He tells me that I have to REPLACE THE STRUTS AND SHOCKS to resolve it. I assumed that the new tires woul be covered by them for misdiagnosing the car in the first place. He tells me no the tires are not covered and on top of that they want another 243.00 just to flip my DAMAGED TIRES to make an attempt at reucing the tire damage. UNBELIEVABLE!! So not only do i have to buy shocks and struts that i suspected was the issue in the first place I have to pay for them to try and reduce the tire damage on my new tires. Needless to say I wont be going back but I hope this review helps others. I see there is another review of them doing the same thing to someone else. Damaged their engine and didnt take responsibility. They wanted to bill the customer for more work.

    Exceptional Service…read more I called to set up an appointment for an oil change. I was leaving the country, so i scheduled work to be done about 3 weeks away. Just in case my calendar doesnt remind me or that I forget that I even had it set up to begin with, I had asked them if they were going to give me a courtesy call or a text reminder the week of my oil change. Fast forward to returning from my vacation and they had sent me a text reminding me and to confirm my appointment for said date and time. I responded to their text and that was it, I was ready. I took my vehicle in. I was promptly seen, given an eta and left my key. I just decided to stay in the waiting area anyway because it wouldnt take that look anyway. I helped myself to their complimentary beverages in their fridge and shortly enough I received an email of all the workups my car needed and that the job is done. Note that this is just an inspection and you are not obligated to get the recommendations done immediately or with them- it is just for peace of mind. In the sheet, it lists what is immediate and a cost estimate to make it convenient for me. Whether you want the work done or not, it is up to you. I promptly paid for the oil change and I got to walk away with estimates for the next job and a completed oil change on my vehicle. Keep up the great job.

I had a tune up there cost me nearly $600 didn't change 1 coil!!! Months after I had them replace my water pump which cost me just under $500 they failed to put my timing belt on correctly and since I knew nothing about cars, they allowed me to leave their shop with a crazy ticking noise as if I had a Diesel engine and I made sure to bring it to their attention that's not a sound I ever heard prior to bring it in. They insisted that I take it to who did my oil change?!!! Days go by I'm on my way home from work and boom! Long story short I ended up having to get a new engine because they failed to pay attention to detail. Cost me $3,000.00!!!!! Joe (the mechanic) insisted he would never let me leave with an unsafe vehicle because he knew I had children. Thanks for nothing.

Earlier this week, my vehicle was struck by a delivery van and declared a total loss by the insurance company. The initial valuation was low but I put a lot of work into my car this past year. I didn't keep any of my receipts but fortunately Lou does! He was able to make copies of all receipt documentation for the work that he did on my car so that I could show the insurance company. Awesome customer service!
