A recent inspection and estimate for the same work we'd received @ Toyota of Lincoln Park was in excess of $4K; a complete non-starter. Nate Hoffman @ Rockwell Auto Clinic reached out with pricing for the 3 tasks that was nearly half of what we'd been quoted @ Toyota of Lincoln Park; a complete starter and must-do. He even recommended that I avoid getting the alignment done @ Toyota, and postpone it until after the suspension work was done; sound advice that the service advisors @ Toyota of Lincoln Park did not provide. I dropped the car off on a late afternoon and retrieved it the following day with no issues whatsoever; the car now rides, steers, and brakes just as it did when new. Nate was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, and we'd definitely return to Rockwell Auto Clinic for future work on our vehicle.

The last few times, not as good of a feeling and then the last time- charged for an oil change I never would've agreed to because I just got an oil change the week before. I contested and they made me feel like it was my mistake. As a customer who had been going to Siglers for years, not only did I feel ripped off, I was hurt. I had defended them for years when things weren't exactly "kosher" and after moving into the city, I remained a loyal customer , taking buses and els to get there and back. I felt so betrayed, like a trusted friend stabbed me in the back. It's almost a year later, and I'm still upset. My car needs service- no way I'm going back there. I found a highly recommended mechanic close to where I live- told him the story. He admitted, that sometimes things like this happen, bad days, not thinking right, but in his right mind, he would never treat a long time customer that way. It's really a shame when a business loses a good customer and she feels the need to write a review like this.

I happened to find Kris Touhy Auto because I searched for a BP gas station close to me along my route -- and sure enough attached to the BP was this auto shop. I was shaken, I was embarrassed, I was rushed -- and the two men in the shop (an older gentleman and a younger man) immediately stopped what they were doing and both came out to check my oil level and fill it up -- for like pennies! They even showed my son (and me) how to do it. I can't say enough good things about these men and this shop. I usually HATE going to new places to do sort-of-major work on my car since, well, you know... I go into the shop and first thing I get is a great greeting; unexpected, and asking what I might need. Oil change. Maybe.. Gas? "Not a problem!" and Rob (I think that was his name) grabbed my keys. At this point my day was made. Done. Smile ear to ear. Short talk - but extremely to the point and helpful. After my oil change I pulled up to the pumps and James (the guy at the counter) came out to help me! Now THATS what I call customer service! The whole process not only took less than 25min but my day was made, and it felt a little less strenuous on my well being. Car has been running smoothly ever since. Gotta say, I'm willing try any service they offer!!!
