So cute! Tons of parking, quiet with calm music, GREAT coffee, kind staff, lots of seating. The prices are very reasonable.

Arriving here, I had no idea where the coffee shop specifically was lol. Miraculously I found a small sign with an arrow and followed it. I followed the general area of the cars and it took me a minute to find the entrance. From the outside, the building looked questionable but the inside was decorated well and cozy. I loved the interior ambiance, the brick walls, industrial lighting, and cute/whimsical decorations like the mushroom napkin holder hehe. I got an iced lavender latte with oat milk and it was delicious. Prices were reasonable as well :) My drink was very well balanced, it was rich and the sweetness level was perfect. It was exactly how I like my lavender lattes. The barista was so kind and helpful too. Can't wait to come back to this place again! read more

Okay I was scared at first coming to this place. It is in the cut, ducked off near an abandoned building. Lol I'm a Dallas transplant so this was a sprinkle bit creepy. There is a cute sign by the street directing you to the building. But, the actual coffee shop is "in" the abandoned building. It gives it character and I like it. Very homey and comfortable. It was super duper cold inside and the wifi wouldn't connect on my computer but it did connect on my iPad.Neither are a reflection of the business but I'm simply sharing my experience with one of the offered amenities. Service was great. She was very personable and gave great recommendations as far as pairings go. I ordered the avocado bagel with a pomergrante oolong tea with honey. It came out to about $13. Delicious but for the price ehh. The tea was piping hot and the toast was a nice touch in between workouts. I will be back to try a few more read more

First thing I want to mention is if that if you want to contact people in the restaurant, call the (423) 458-1206 number. Their website lists 2 numbers, but the one I just mentioned is the 1 that got me in touch with someone at the restaurant. Also, their breakfast and lunch menu items are served until 5:00 PM (which is when the kitchen closes), so don't think you have to get here early if you want one of their breakfast items. I arrived at the restaurant at 4:00 PM. You pull into a gravel driveway and park in the gravel lot area. This is one of those places that's in a building with other stores, so on your first time here, you may have to walk a bit to find the entrance. I walked underneath an archway that led me to the front door. The restaurant definitely has that laid back city cafe interior with its mismatched tables and chairs that look like they were bought at like a flea market, exposed ceiling, etc. I asked if the pastries on display were their typical offerings and if they ever change them out, and the cook (I believe) Cody said that aside from a few seasonal things, they don't really offer anything outside of what was currently in the pastry display. As for what I ordered, while I did see they had a summer special item (which is available until the end of August), I opted for a "Jalapeno Popper Bagel" and an "Asiago Bagel with Brown Sugar-Cinnamon Spread". I asked if they were going to offer other seasonal menu items, but they made it sound like its something that won't be known until its closer to the season. This is one of those places where you pay for your food after ordering and you seat yourself. The counter/bar was fully occupied, so I opted for a nearby table. I will say that the table I chose was a little wobbly, so hopefully they address that; however, it didn't cause any problem for me while eating. As for the restaurant's bathroom, they offer 2 unisex bathrooms. The one I opted for had an okay level of tidiness, and the automatic paper towel dispenser was a little finnicky, but everything worked and they weren't out of soap or paper towels. My order took 9 minutes and 48 seconds to arrive, and while I was waiting, I overheard the server Dakota chatting with the people at the counter. He seemed a very pleasant guy and got along with the 3 people at the counter. As for my food, both bagels were warm and crispy without being too hard. The "Jalapeno Popper Bagel" wasn't spicy at all, so if you are averse to spice but still want to try it, I say go for it. The bacon was nice and salty, and it was overall a good bagel sandwich. The "Asiago Bagel with Brown Sugar-Cinnamon Spread" was cheesy (but not too cheesy), cinnamon-y (without being overpoweringly so), and sweet (but not cloyingly). The lattes were both amazing! I got the gingerbread and my husband got a specially made eggnog latte that they were willing to make since they had eggnog for the chai! I highly reccomend the atmosphere was delightful and the decorations were very well done. The service was also amazing and I will for sure be going back! read more

Small and cozy. Great place to study/work with lots of outlets, food, and yummy coffee. I will say that this is not a good place to come to if you are disabled in any way. Chairs and tables are close together making it hard for me to maneuver with my cane. I did notice they delivered some people their food to their table but they did not do this for me. Overall lovely place, just not disability friendly. read more
