Bright airy coffee shop with a New England vibe. All the pastries looked amazing, it was hard to choose. The employees were eager to offer their opinions which were spot on. Heat up thedoible chocolate scone for the perfect afternoon snack. Plus, I guessed the trivia answer and won a free coffee. Love it here!

Update to my review from last year: It had been a while since I last visited, but I recently came back to Chattanooga to see family and made a point to stop at Rembrandt's again. Happy to say it's still just as good. My favorite coffee éclair was exactly how I remembered it, and the rest of the bakery items were excellent as well. I also had a club sandwich, soup, and coffee, which were really good. Consistent quality like this is why Rembrandt's remains my favorite spot. Always worth the stop! Service was great. The outdoor area is nice.

Went to Chattanooga for a quick getaway. I grew up in North Ga, so Chatt was just 20 minutes away and we spent a lot of time there as teens. Rembrandt's was a place we would come to that made us feel so adult and cool, so this visit was very nostalgic for me. It all felt the same. We ordered a mocha latte and a matcha to drink and a Reuben and Harvest Salad with chicken to eat. The Reuben was fantastic, but the chicken on the salad was extremely dry. The drinks were made well though. This was more about nostalgia than the eats for me anyway, so it was fine. I will always come back as long as they're in business.

This is hands down my favorite coffee shop and patisserie. I always overload on the pastries since I don't get it often. The service is great, but it will take you a minute to get your food or drinks because it is a very small shop. But be patient it's worth it. The breads, pastries and soups are made fresh and the coffee is roasted there. The Bluffview Art District is a staple in the Chattanooga area, its skyline is breathtaking!

Great spot! The line does move pretty slow so not the best place to go when you're in a rush. Limited indoor seating but a great spot if it's a nice day and you're looking to sit outside! Their coffee and pastries are great. I also saw someone get the breakfast sandwich which looked amazing and will have to get that next time.

One of my absolute favorite places to stop in Chattanooga. The line can be long at times, it's entirely worth the wait. Their pastries are delicious and delicate, I highly recommend a nun. My friend had their reuben sandwich and it was incredible, absolutely stuffed with meat and a very well made sauerkraut. I recommend grabbing a few pastries, if you just get one you'll regret it with how good they are.

This place is awesome!! The decor is very modern but welcoming. They have indoor seating but I sat out on the outdoor patio, which is very spacious and shady. Their coffee is great - I just got an iced latte but was very happy with it. And the breakfast burrito was delicious! It's huge, so you get a lot for what you pay. Service was efficient even though they were quite busy on a Saturday morning.

We stumbled upon a charming little coffee spot in Chattanooga, and it's an absolute gem! This place has everything you could want in a café -- it has sweet treats and the best coffee. There's an inviting outdoor patio, perfect for enjoying your coffee while soaking in the fresh air. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it an ideal spot to unwind, and simply enjoy a peaceful moment with your favorite brew. The only problem we had was we ordered iced tea with sugar but the asked me to use sugar packets. I wanted it sweetened by simple syrup or cane sugar.

I had not been to family favorite Rembrandt's since they remodeled and changed the menu a bit so Mom wanted to treat me to breakfast here this morning. The place is still so lovely! We walked throigh the courtyard side entrance into a room full of delectable looking pastries and chocolates A few new breakfast and lunch items had also been added to the now digital menu on the wall. The cashiers were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Mom got the challah French Toast and I decided to get my 'ol fav the breakfast sandwich. Mom's order was huge and looked delicious. She definitely ate every bite with a smile. My breakfast sandwich was just as large and delicious as I remembered, the perfect combo of egg, cheese, and homemade biscuit. The chai tea latte I ordered complimented it well too. We enjoyed dining on the front side of the cafe and visiting with people walking by and their dogs. This place is still such a unique local treasure of an experience.

Since I was in the area with some friends, I wanted to get something small and sweet. But while I was waiting in line, I realized that I was much more hungrier than I thought lol. Rembrandt's has more than just coffee and pastries, but actual food as well! In the past I've always gotten their coffee and it was good, but this recent experience was amazing. I got their Caesar Wrap and their Blackberry Sage Shandy. The wrap was delicious. The romaine inside was fresh and crunchy, chicken was good, and the caesar dressing was tasty. It was the perfect amount of sauce that layered the wrap contents inside yet still wasn't too saucy. My friends got the Firebird and Bluff View Burrito. After trying my friend's Firebird sandwich (which I was also wanting to get as well), I'd definitely come back and order that next. My drink was great as well. It was fruity, refreshing, sweet but not too sweet, and exactly what I wanted for my sweets craving. The iced tea was enjoyable. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. Their menu was huge and kind of overwhelming at first, but I was very satisfied with what I ordered. The pastries were displayed so nicely in front. Next time I'll have to get a coffee and pastry. I look forward to coming back here again.

I see why this has won Chattanooga's Best Coffee Shop award for so many years. This European-style cafe is the perfect place to roll up with your girlies and get a sip or snack. Things you should know: I. PARKING Limited free street parking. II. SERVICE They offer fresh pastries, chocolates, and locally roasted coffee. There's a self-serve water station. One thing I did find disappointing was the presentation of the coffee. Since Rembrandt's seems to go all-out in esthetics, I was disappointed to have my drink served in a plastic to-go cup and not classy dishware. It just doesn't make sense with the effort placed behind the cafe.. III. QUALITY All locally made ~ couldn't be any better. IV. CAPACITY Fairly busy on a weekday, late-morning. Seating is slim, however I always saw a table available during my stay.

Since it was our first visit and everything on the menu spoke to us, she helped steer us in the right direction. I ended up ordering the pistachio croissant, and honestly... I'd go back for that alone. It was warm, huge by croissant standards, and absolutely heavenly. I even grabbed another one to take home because Future Me deserved a little happiness too. We also tried the raspberry lemon danish, which was a delicious combo, but the pistachio croissant stole the show without breaking a sweat. We started with the poutine, and while it wasn't the traditional version I've had before, it was incredible. Instead of cheese curds blocks, it came with pulled pork and melted cheese, and somehow it just worked. Comfort food with a little Southern flair. For breakfast, we had the ham and cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes. It was exactly what you want it to be--classic, satisfying, and impossible to regret if that's your usual order. I also tried the Liquid Gold juice. Their juice selection is impressive, but I may have accidentally found my forever order on the first try. It was so refreshing, with just a hint of ginger. For a hot drink, I highly recommend the London fog. I'm not usually a tea fan but if you don't want coffee, this is an excellent option. Before we left, we picked up some of their salted caramels to go, and they make the perfect little gift... assuming you have enough self-control not to eat them all in the car. The vibe here is upscale southern diner. One of the signs on the wall said, "All are welcome, but you need to act right," and honestly, that's the kind of life advice we could all use. I also really appreciated that parking was free. In Chattanooga these days it's hard finding a place where you don't have to scan a QR code, download an app, and pay to park just to eat. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Milk & Honey is absolutely worth a visit...and if you're debating the pistachio croissant, stop debating and just order it. Your only regret will be not getting a second one.

Now for the most important part of this review. While enjoying brunch, I witnessed something I never expected to see: a baby goat riding around the restaurant in a pet stroller. At that moment, I realized Chattanooga may be one of the most pet-friendly places I've ever visited. Dogs aren't allowed inside unless they're service animals, but honestly, the outdoor space is where you want to be anyway. The patio is huge, with covered sections and outdoor heaters that kept us comfortable even when the weather turned rainy. We visited on a wet day and never felt like we were settling for "the dog section." The food was consistently excellent, and the happy hour menu made it an easy choice for a casual meal or drinks. My humans were happy with their food, and I was thrilled when they ordered me a side of chicken. It disappeared almost immediately, which I consider the highest possible review. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between lively and relaxed. There is plenty of room to spread out, and the outdoor space feels welcoming rather than crowded. We didn't know and went straight to outdoor seating, which worked out because we got a table and about a minute later we figured out the ordering process. I ordered the chicken salad croissant for my wife, then the California club for myself and then I had to order quiche Lorraine for the table. I had filtered tap water for my drink and my wife had a can of Diet Coke with a slice of lemon and ice in a cup, provided. Service was pretty quick, between our order placement and table delivery it was 7 minutes. The quiche was custardy inside with a delicious hint of caramelized shallots to go with the bacon and cheese/egg filling. The bacon did not overwhelm. The crust was perfectly baked and a nice flakey crust. The accompanying arugula and onion salad dresses with oil and vinegar and seasonings was an excellent pairing of freshness with the richer quiche. This is a big hit, as expected when advertised on the menu as "available until sold out." The California Club was on 6 grain toasted bread with an avocado spread and aioli, bacon, turkey, tomato and lettuce. I really liked the balance of each component in this sandwich, such that nothing dominated the flavors and each distinctive was individually identifiable in the contribution to the whole sandwich. The portion was just right. The chicken salad was also good, but was the bronze medal winner compared to the other two. The croissant was flaky, but not too much. The chicken salad had just a hint of lemon and was not overwhelmed with aioli, just the right balance. This was a fantastic meal. We liked this so much, we chose to buy two loaves of bread to go, a Chattanooga Sourdough and a garlic Parmesan and also a 5 lb bag of in house ground bread flour. I need one of these in Greenville, SC, my hometown. Last thing to note, you bus your own table and there is a dish basin nearby the outside dining area in which to place your dishes. This was an excellent lunch spot. The staff were also friendly and patiently helpful. This is a must visit spot when visiting or living in Chattanooga!

Our server was great and I forgot to ask her for her name. Definitely recommend this place.

Bowls, salads, drinks, desserts...such a gift to feel like you can indulge within your dietary limits. Plenty of great seating, including a nice outdoor area, and we've always had amazing service and care while dining there. Appreciate their wall of health items for purchase as well.

There are tons of vegan options, and you don't have to look too hard for gf options if that's your jam. The store itself is packed with amazing health food items like mushroom coffee, shilajit, matcha, electrolytes, and so much more. They also have a refrigerated grab-and-go section with fresh juices, rice paper rolls, chia seed pudding, and a lentil casserole. The glass dessert case is full of vegan treats like peanut butter and chocolate cups, bliss balls, and donuts. The menu is extensive with tons of great organic vegan options. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough (they also offer gluten-free and multigrain) with cashew cheese and a side of chili. I also got a beet juice, a lemon lavender muffin, chia seed pudding, and a decaf oat milk latte. The sandwich was pretty good. The bread seemed really fresh and I enjoyed the cashew cheese. The side of chili had a slight twist that elevated it above most regular chili recipes. It was good, but had a little too much corn for my taste personally. The beet juice was delicious and a generous portion. The desserts were just okay, but I appreciated that they weren't overly sweet and didn't have any weird ingredients. Honestly, it's just so nice knowing your food has no weird ingredients and everything is organic! The only downside was the coffee. Honestly, it was probably one of the worst I've ever had. Maybe it was just an off day or a mistake, I'm not sure. Everything else was good though! I would definitely recommend this spot. The decor is really cute and inviting. I love that they offer plenty of seating options too -- indoor, an enclosed outdoor patio, and an exterior exposed patio. Logistical Notes: Parking was super easy with a lot right out front. There are two accessible bathrooms for people with disabilities, and I love that they have a gender-inclusive restroom as well. You order at the register, they bring you your food, and then you bus your own "tray."
