Curry chicken and Mac and cheese
    Storm C.

Babe grabbed some quick dinner for me last night. Their curry chicken is delicious. It's seasoned perfectly along with the potatoes. However, the Mac and cheese left much to be desired. It looked and tasted like old government cheese was just slapped on there- definitely not your mama's three-cheese baked mac and cheese. The rice had an old taste too. I prefer my Jamaican go-to spot Island Treats in Burlington overall.

This this small Oxtails with peas and rice ... sweet plantains

So far to be honest you guys have been the most consistent and great authentic food is a winner. The prices and accommodations are good too and is my family new go to for Caribbean food

Curry chicken w/ fried chicken rice and beans and plantains.

This restaurant is in the heart of Willingboro right next to papa-johns. I eat here all the time because I love authentic Jamaican Food, this restaurant stands out compared to the other Caribbean or Jamaican restaurants in the area. They have the true Jamaican flavor and taste. The fried chicken is even good. You must try the curry chicken with rice and beans, or the oxtails, jerk chicken and other great dishes at this restaurant. They also have patties and cocoa-bread. If you catch the natural blend juices of Irish moss and Cucumber-ginger or Carrot-ginger which is my favorite on the right day you will like them as well. I come to this restaurant at-least 2 times a week or 4 -5 times out of the month. Real good Jamaican food yum........

Stew with yams. This is half the portion of the size small. Plenty!

Island Treat is located at the end of a 5 store shopping strip. The front windows are plastered with calling card ads that many international/ethnic groceries would have. The interior consisted of a long counter filled with various Jamaican/Caribbean products. The woman working was very friendly and greeted us with a large smile as we walked in. The menu is on a small "bulletin board" with only a couple options. They offer Jamaican/Caribbean dishes such as jerk chicken and curry goat, as well as offering beef patties. You have the option of three different sizes, small, medium, and large. I settled for the jerk chicken and a beef patty. You also get a choice of two sides with your meal and I got rice and beans (one side) and cabbage. They also have other sides like collard greens, macaroni and cheese, etc. The whole meal came out to be less than $6 (I'm pretty sure). Back at the office, I started with the beef patty which was made well (if it was even made at the restaurant)...it was flaky and tasted great on the inside...unlike some of the ones I've had in the past. The jerk chicken was pretty good. Tasted great with the rice, beans, and cabbage. The small size take out container seems really tiny, but at the end of the meal I felt full. Verdict? Definitely a keeper. While not the best jerk chicken I've had, the service was quick and friendly and more importantly the food was delicious and a pretty cost effective lunch option.

The portions were great (which we know can be questionable at Jamaican restaurants) and the food .... SLAMMING! You could taste just the right amount of the coconut milk in the rice and the stew chicken fell right off its bones. We will definitely be ordering or grabbing takeout from here again.

I just decided to look up anything else and came upon a take‑out Caribbean spot this Saturday night, and it was our first time there. I ordered the jerk chicken Rasta pasta (1st time btw), due to the dish. Everyone makes it differently...and my husband got the large jerk chicken meal with cabbage, rice and peas, plus two beef patties with coco bread. The wait was pretty long, not gonna front...about 20 -30 minutes, but honestly, I'd wait twice as long for food this good!!!! Wow! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly the kind of authentic Caribbean cooking we've been missing. Fresh peppers on the Rasta Pasta!!! Yes! I thank you Chef! We moved here from Bergen County well over six years ago, and have been craving certain cuisines. So finding a place that this hits the mark like this feels like a win. The jerk chicken was so tender with real spice and depth, the Rasta pasta was perfectly creamy and perfectly seasoned, and the patties were spot‑on. Finally!!! It really Gets expensive driving back and forth to NY! So thankfully this place opened so close to other cities. This place is officially in our rotation.
