The men running the place, and cooking the food are very nice! It is always refreshing to go into an establishment and get treated well. The food was cooked fresh to order and since the sink is close to the ordering window, we got to witness how well they cleaned the fish. The place is small but feels very comfortable, especially with all of their personal photos attached to the window. I got the fried whiting fish dinner with sides of sweet potato/yams and collard greens and my husband got the whiting sandwich with french fries. The food reminded me of my childhood! The server Sinorice (sp) was sweet, kind and attentive while at the same time deeply knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. The food was amazing we sampled a wide variety between our party of 6 from buffalo wings (peach bbq) to ox tails to prime rib to the famous chicken and Mac n cheese. You literally cannot go wrong with anything. We also ordered the Pink Diamond and Miracle Worker cocktails which were delicious well-balanced and sufficient strong for the cost. The ambiance is fantastic with a live band, DJ and later karaoke with ample room to dance. My young children enjoyed themselves and tore up their food. To top it off they comped the birthday girl's dessert which was the amazing Banana Pudding. My entire party was happy and had a wonderful evening and my wife had a lovely birthday thanks to the kind staff and great food of Delta's.
